Really liked the hotel. No free breakfast which is a bummer but the staff is nice. Indoor and outdoor pools (outdoor is quite large). Gazebo, green area, and basketball court behind the building. Refrigerator and microwave both in my room.

Excellent customer service provided by Aimia, she was delightful to deal with and very helpful about the surrounding area. This Hotel is very clean and quiet. Has plenty of amenities from pool, games room to a workout room. All staff were happy and provided us with anything we needed.

This hotel is average. The hallways, however, are pretty worn and tired. Also, it's very hard to sleep with the old-style wall heater going on and off all night. The staff are pleasant and the location is terrific--especially if you have any appointments in Longmeadow or East Longmeadow, MA.

A good example of a independently owned Holiday-Inn. Good service from the front desk staff (Megan), lots of parking, easy to find in a quiet location yet close to access routes and supermarkets. Refrigerator and microwave in the room with two double beds. Free and reliable internet connection. A reasonable breakfast was included in our room rate.

The people at this location are phenomenal. Most specifically, Nikki in sales. If you need to book a large party or block off a significant amount of rooms, give her a call. She is phenomenal! Overall, a great staff and a great location. We will certainly be using this location again!

Frame of reference, when traveling with family (ages 13, 11 and 8) typically stay at Embassy Suites type of hotels (for work, more Marriott/Hilton/W type hotels). Specifically searched for a hotel in Hartford area with an indoor and outdoor pool. This hotel came up as highly rated for such. It also had a basketball court, tennis court and volleyball court. Meeting my brother with similar age kids - this seemed perfect. We got there on a 95 degree day and were informed the outdoor pool was n... Read more

We stayed here on a recent trip to Springfield, Massachusetts. The location was conveniently close to the highway, Basketball Hall of Fame, Six Flags. The room was clean and spacious. I was participating in an event that was taking place at Springfield College and the event chose the Holiday Inn Enfield-Springfield as the host hotel for the event. Happy with the room - clean, nicely furnished, had a safe, coffee maker, refrigerator, great mattress. This hotel overall is average. The hallways ar... Read more

We came here to stay after checking out of another hotel which turned out to be very poor. It was very important to me to get a hotel with decent beds, because I have fibromyalgia and have a hard time sleeping in most hotel beds. More about that later. First, let me say that when we first called about reservations, I spoke to a young woman who was very nice indeed. She was willing to entertain my questions about the beds and the size of the bathrooms, etc. . . . and said we would be helped i... Read more

Took a weekend away from the stress of a recent death in the family... only to run into to 2 young adults that caused a lot of drama and end up arrested.... I only wish the hotel manager took the time to remove them right from the start of it all so it wouldn't have ruined our weekend getaway. Other than that, we enjoyed the hotel we had a great time and I would highly recommend this hotel.. And if you have the opportunity stop in and see Jan the bartender.. She was wonderful.. We were headed home from a 2 week road trip and this was the most convenient Holiday Inn (we are rewards members so wanted this brand) along our route. I went to check in and they were hosting a large group in a banquet room, and there were members of a flight crew in the lobby...which seemed like good signs to me. However, the room we got was "around back", which looked like a creepy run down 70's motel. The grass was dead, the parking lot had random cars playing music or sitting in the far bac... Read more

The Holiday Inn Enfield in Springfield was our hotel for a week in July 2016. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful they made our stay memorable. The hotel is a little dated and could do with a makeover but generally ok. The restaurant staff were excellant but the menu was limited and the breakfast menu remained unchanged the whole week.

And and my boyfriend called ahead and booked a room. We were told that they only have handicap accessible rooms with a double bed. The gentleman who answered the phone Ross was very polite and explained that the room was mid size but the bathroom would be larger for a person with a disability. This was fine, we were tired after visiting Six Flags and since we couldn't swim at the park we thought we would have a nice swim and visit the restaurant. They had a full crowd of people and they where a ... Read more

Stayed here for a wedding in the area, it was very convenient off the highway and reasonable. Everything you would expect from a holiday inn except no free breakfast. The rooms were large and the hotel was a lot larger than I expected, we got a room at the very end of the hall which was very quiet and isolated. Staff were friendly.

The hotel I typically stay in was booked solid due to a golf tournament. This hotel had a few rooms left, so I felt a bit stuck without any options for hotels in town better than a 2 star rating. This hotel is relatively old, so I expected the typical funky stale smells, and discolored wallpaper. However, it turns out they've kept repairs up and the room was very nice. The beds were very comfy and there was a choice of firm or soft pillows on the beds. The room had a pretty large mini fridge a... Read more

The hotel was certainly conveniently located to Six Flags (< 15 minute drive). The place was clean, spacious and accommodating. There were no double queen rooms, but the king bed and pull out couch fit our family of four (me, my wife plus a 10 and 16 year old). The hallways and common areas can get a little loud at times due to Six Flags visitors (older teens to college age), but we didn't have any issues with sleeping at all.

We were visiting family in the area so are spending 3 nights here. The room is decent size with 2 doubles. Maintenance is lacking. The closet doors are broken and off the track. The bathroom door has a huge heavy ornate mirror hanging by one small nail. It vibrates whenever you open or close the door. One day it is going to fall and hurt someone badly. The bathroom is very small and the door opens right up against the tub and toilet. The dark, heavy insulated curtains are good for privac... Read more

My husband and I recently overnighted at this Holiday Inn which is right off I-91. Great location for travelers with two large pools, an indoor and an outdoor one. That's the good news. Unfortunately, because of poor management this hotel barely gets an average rating from me. The shower rod in our bathroom was loosely connected to the wall tiles that were loose and looked like they could get dislodged at any time. As a result, the shower curtain didn't hang right which caused a lot of water to ... Read more

I travel a bit and frequent Holiday Inns' for their consistency. This is another one I would put on my list to try again. Having an indoor and outdoor pool is a real treat for families especially when you are just their to visit. Sure there are nearby malls but nothing within walking distance so sit back and relax. I can't speak to the food as we brought ours in crock pots.

We had three nights here on a recent business trip. Especially liked the helpfulness of the staff at the front desk, most were very friendly. Especially liked the availability of the shuttle, so helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and it seemed better than the average Holiday Inn, which are not known for good food. The breakfast buffet was not so good however. We were able to order fried, poached or scrambled and could avoid the pre made omelet. Bakery selection was not the greate... Read more

I travel quite a bit and I have to say that my stay at this Holiday Inn was delightful due to the staff. It began on the way from the airport in the HI Shuttle, manned by John Innarelli. He literally gave me a guided tour of the facility on the short ride from the airport. I knew exactly where to go to check-in, what was offered in the small hotel store, where the exercise room was located as well as the swimming pool. I knew exactly where to catch the elevator to my room, as well. The che... Read more

We didn't find the staff to be very friendly or helpful. Most of our interactions were with third shift staff, so staff on other shifts could have been more accommodating. We arrived to our hotel around 11:45pm the night we checked in and staff gave us three different sets of key cards, none of which worked. After the third set of keys, a staff member came to try and rewire our door. We requested a different room at that point so that we could get settled in. It was just sort of an ok hotel. It ... Stayed here while visiting family recently. It was clean and comfortable. The only two things that I wish were different were: Would love to have been able to use the pool early in the morning or late in the evening before heading out to be with family and/or when returning from our festivities. The second is that when I booked online, there were rooms listed that said "full size beds" and some that said "double beds". Lovely, bright & open were my first thoughts. We were very warmly welcomed by happy & friendly staff. The room was of a good size, 2 double beds & adequate bathroom, all of which was spotless. We enjoyed a tasty dinner (served by the lovely Tiffany) & the buffet breakfast was very good. The only strange thing was the fact that there was a coffee maker in the bathroom!!

I got in very late (1am) and was pleased that the front desk agent was awake and very friendly. The next morning, I left my hotel room around 11:30am. I returned around 4pm and my room had not been cleaned. I am a relatively tidy person so it wasn't an issue but I was surprised nevertheless. Just off I-91. The hotel is old and tired. The rooms renovation is okay. The staff is friendly but I did have issues trying to get them to replace the empty bottle in the fitness room. It took four request over three days. The TV line-up was weak and didn't have CNN. The breakfast buffet was about $2 too high for what you get. The bed and pillows are excellent quality. Great Location and value for where I was working. Hotel is dated, a little smelly and in need of a massive remodel. Still though, it was adequate and overall I enjoyed my stay. The onsite restaurant and bar was hit or miss but usually more hit than miss. Guest laundry is funky to say the least.
