Awesome pools, location, rooms. Everything was perfect. We stayed in the summer so the a/c was nice too! Our family had fun playing on the basketball court as well. I recommend going down to the hot springs downtown, especially if you have kids.

We thought the room was lovely and we were on the 3rd floor facing the highway and were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was. There were a couple of problems, one of which we thought could've been handled more efficiently but the maintenance man was very nice. The televisions in both bedrooms said "Weak/No Signal" so we called the front desk. The maintenance man came immediately and all that had to be done was set the televisions to 4. Seems to be a simple problem that a memo in the room or... Read more

We spent a week at the resort/timeshare during "Mud Season" (end of May) and had a wonderful time. Below are the key points we noted: * The local attractions were about an hour away: ~ The Hot Springs (not sulfur springs and worth going to, but you will not be there all day - too hot) is a fun mountain drive, if you do not get to do this often. ~ The 300 foot waterfall is again a fun mountain drive and well worth it during this time of year (the water flow is heavy, which makes this awesome... The room was absolutely wonderful. The property had at least 2 pools and plenty of other resort type amenities for us to enjoy. The balconies were just perfect to enjoy a quiet evening with amazing views.

We had the best time. I love that they actually had a play area with the exercise room. You could workout while the kids play and you could keep eyes on them. Employees were very friendly. Pool was a little cold, but we like our pool at 90°, kids didn't seem to mind the cooler water. Great location as well. Rooms were very clean! Basketball court, pools and a play ground also. Big bonus was the the exercise room was open 24hrs!

This is our timeshare and as with every Wyndham we have stayed in, it is clean and has good amenities. There are three pools on site, two outdoor and one indoor. The game room for the kids is just ok. Lots of local stuff to see and do and this town is beautiful.

I think they are having maintenance issues. Our ice maker was not working because of a missing part and the garage door was broken for a few days. There were other small maintenance issues like one grill broken and two with broken ignitors. Great people. Great service. Ideal location. We have been here and will return

We had a 3 bedroom deluxe. Everything was pretty standard. It was a handicap unit. The seat in the master bathroom came off the wall the first night. The toilet handle broke the first night. The dishwasher didnt slide in or out right. The locks in the patio door of full size bedroom didnt work. Then by the 3rd day, the closet door fell on me. Then the 6th day, my son got a cut from the in door pool. It removed about an inch of skin under his foot. Then we were told we got this unit type because ... Read more

Our 1 bedroom condo was great....very clean...with everything you'd need to keep house. We especially enjoyed the balcony for morning coffee where you could watch the hot air balloons fly over. Parking is provided underground so can get your car out of the parking lot. 3 hot tubs and 3 pools on property. Outside pool was nice and warm.

The overall weeklong stay was very good. We used both swimming pools, and two of the hot tubs. Our party had two 2-bedroom units. Despite an employee's assurance of being on the same floor during a phone call to the property several weeks before our arrival, we were given units on different floors. We went to the front desk the second day to see if we could get one of the newly-vacated units so we could be on the same floor. They were able to accommodate us. That made our stay so much better. My husband and I came up from Denver for two nights at the Wyndham as a weekend trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My brother used to live in Steamboat and he recommended the resort. Then, we went online and read the reviews and thought we would try it! The price was also right! We stayed a Sunday to Tuesday and had a one bedroom suite. The room was perfect for our needs and we could not be more pleased with the room. We cooked in one night and the kitchen had every utensil and was well ... Read more

We love staying at Wyndham resorts, especially for the kitchens and in room laundry. The room was nicely furnished and felt like home. We used the BBQ grills outside several times. The pools were excellent and my family had a great time playing. Steamboat has a lot to offer. We mostly enjoyed hiking Fish Creek Falls and Strawberry Hot Springs.

Wyndham Resorts are very predictable in location and quality. Rooms are spacious, clean, and normally have adequate equipped kitchens. The resort has indoor and outdoor pools, basketball, and exercise room. Easy walking to several restaurants and movie theater or 2mins to Safeway and Walgrens. For skiers, short distance to shuttles or lift. Down town Steamboat is about 2 1/2 mi where there are loads of restaurants and shopping. Haymaker Golf course is 5 minutes for summertime activity. This was a last minute business trip that I took children along to make it little mini vacation. This place is awesome, great location, great staff and awesome beds. I slept so good I didn't want to leave. Oh wait we were in Steamboat Springs and we never want leave when we visit. There are couple great restaurants within walking distance and several others a short drive away. We had 2 bedroom suite the that was large with a fully equipped kitchen. We stayed here for two nights under the Worldmak time share program. Our one bedroom was nicely furnished, but noisy (2nd floor with room above). we had asked for a top floor when we checked in (5 pm), only to be told there was no availability. after calling around 6:30 - we did get moved - to a wyndham (interesting!!) unit. we were told it is important to call the resort to get a better chance at what you want.

We are Wyndham Platinum VIP owners and the check in process was a mess in our opinion. This was the 8th Wyndham resort that we have checked into on this trip and was the only one that required me to go back out to the car and have my wife end a phone call to come in to show her driver's license, granted for whatever reason the last purchase put her name and not mine on the account. However, the previous 7 locations did not ask for her license and I was allowed to check us in no problem. This res... Read more

What once was my favorite time share location in the Wyndham system (that I've visited), I now have to recommend against staying at this facility. Though I love the decor, the amentities, and ski resort views, I do not accept the permissive rules regarding marijuana smoking. The facility now wreaks of weed - from the porch on your unit, to the jacuzzis below. Circle the buildings, and you'll have a hard time escaping the odor. Walk across the common areas, and you'll be treated to the noxious fu... Read more

My wife and I were in need of using up some of our timeshare points with Disney Vacation Club, and of course they allow you to exchange with RCI. One of the few places we found in Steamboat Springs that would do two-day stays instead of requiring a full week stay was the Wyndham Vacation Resort. The place is easy to find, not that far from the skis area, and has plenty of parking both above ground and under the buildings. We originally planned to have some friends stay with us, but they had to... Read more

We were on the first floor in an ADA room (which none of us needed so not sure why we were given it) so it was laid out differently than most rooms. The room was very nice, big, clean and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating to our sometimes very needy needs (it's a girl thing). The only downside was the shower. Because it was ADA compliant, the water went everywhere.

The resort was located near Wildhorse Market. Great location. It was in walking distance of downtown. The trail by the creek was beautiful. The trees were turning, fly fishing nearby, and the walkway through the wetlands was wonderful for hiking. There were ducks in the area, dear and moose appeared each morning. The mountains had snow on the tops. A free bus was also available from resort to downtown. There was movie in walking distance. The bus was provided by city. Went to ski area al... Read more

Heated pool available but we did not use it. Location of the resort is great for getting around Steamboat. Staff were friendly when we checked in.

Our family visited The Village at Steamboat the week of Thanksgiving 2016. Check in was pretty simple and got our condo keys..Found some lights didn't work, bath tub drain plugged, wifi none existent in the condo, only usable in the lobby. Brings interesting questions if the people that service the facility actually service it. During our stay it was observed that the outdoor hot tub gate didn't lock leaving the hot tub wide open for any child to walk into and fall into the water. Notified th... Read more

We have now stayed at a Wyndham property 3 times and we are always impressed by the staff and accommodations. Our housekeepers were great, the front dest staff were accommodating and we even had an issue with a property we initially booked but they were easily able to find us something else. Very clean, kitchens are well supplied with dished and cooking necessities. Can't say enough good things!
