We stayed at the Ski Trail Condos at Steamboat during the first week of February, 2011. We booked through Steamboat Central Reservations, and paid in the low-$800 range for a one-bedroom unit for six nights. This was among the cheapest on-mountain accommodations available for the week, and undercut most other options by several hundred dollars. Please apply this filter to everything else I say -- because, for economical on-mountain lodgings, this was a big win. We arrived mid-day on a Saturd... Read more

The Ski Trail Condo's are old and far from luxurious. They feel like your first college ski trip lodging. That being said, the location is excellent! They are located right across the street from the mountain. It's easy to grab your gear and walk to the hill. Our condo was clean and functional. It had a full kitchen and it was nice not to have to eat out every meal. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo we rented (302) seems to have been recently renovated. It had enough room for the 3 of us and was tastefully appointed. The other residents were very friendly and the parking lot was plowed regularly. No complaints other than the views were meh but then again, unless you are slopeside, most will be that way. We would stay there again.

Older building, but the inside has been updated. Very nice place to stay. Condo was clean and well kept. Ski in/out was wonderful. Just had to walk across the parking lot to get going and at end of day. Hot tub was close by and operated well. We also used the condo grills a couple nights. Nice to have those available. My first time in this particular condo, but my second with Mountain Resorts. Both stays were very good to excellent.

Stayed in Unit 108 which worked out perfectly for us and our three kids. Newly renovated, clean, tidy and cozy. The family who owns the unit even has a guest book and short bio about their history and love of skiing. So cute! We stayed during the balloon rodeo and it was nice to have such a magnificent event in walking distance. Caught the Yampa fever and the whole family wants to move here! Look forward to coming back during ski season when we can walk to the slopes.
