This is a NICE property! Very well-maintained, super clean and you can't beat the location! Because of hotel points, we were upgraded to a suite which gave us a view of the mountain, which was really nice. There is a shuttle to the mountain or downtown but we had a car so didn't need to use it. Hotel pool and hot tub were extremely clean and pretty much empty in the late afternoons so we did not feel the need to journey to either of the Hot Springs. Adjacent restaurant - Rex's - was GREA... This is not your usual Holiday Inn budget hotel. Although the rates are higher than you'd expect, they're lower than most every other hotel in town during ski season. The hot tub and pool are fantastic. The restaurant is a "10" for quality and service. They offer excellent shuttle service to the ski lift. The beds are comfy. The missing components are 1) pay per view TV 2) better coffee in lobby.

Came to ski for 3 days with family and had a very nice stay. Everyone was super nice and helpful-front desk and ski shuttle. There was storage room up front for skis and excellent shuttle. Much nicer than typical holiday inn. Cookies and hot drinks in afternoon. Great restaurant for breakfast. Comfy beds. Fridge in room. Good value. I would definitely stay here again.

The Holiday Inn is my go to place to stay in Steamboat. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, you have Rex's right on site and the hotel is super close to the bike path that takes you right into town. This visit I discovered the bike storage room which is perfect for summer biking visits. I am picky about where I stay in Steamboat and I love this Holiday Inn.

This is not your average holiday inn, this is a nice holiday in with all the amenities that a hotel in a ski resort must have. One of the biggest advantages of this property is the food an Beverage operation. It is not run by the hotel but it's least to a local restauran group, that set up Rexe's. Great bar and restaurant for very single day of the year. The hotel has everything you need of a good ski resort.

Lovely hotel with all amenities. Front Staff were very businesslike...I prefer a bit more conversation. Rooms are lovely and location is convenient. Outside pool is heated to my grand daughter,s delight. As others have said before this is mot your typical Holiday Inn. Restaurant is not theirs and has a live band playing,

This was a nice hotel, for a very good price. The location is a little off the downtown area, but its not really much of an inconvenience. If you are going downtown, you will have to drive there. The restaurant at the hotel had great food and good beer. Front desk staff was very helpful on answering any questions. They were doing work on the hotel, but it didnt cause us any issues. The indoor hot tub was broke when we were there, but we did use the outdoor hot tub

They quickly got us a room, looked up my rewards number and had us booked quickly. They answered all of my husbands questions about mountain biking the area. We are seasoned travelers and I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels period. For the price, service, rooms, amenities you can not beat this place. First, the rooms are exceptional with beautiful views of the Steamboat valley and balconies the really enhance the experience. Then there are 2 pools, one inside, one out. It is a Holiday Inn, what more to say. Everything I expect from this chain. Clean, quite nice place to stay. Very comfortable beds and room. The price is good for a resort town being a little higher then the budget hotels in the area but well worth the extra amount. Will stay here again. The added bonus is the restaurant/Pub on the main floor. Good food but will write a review on this place too.

We stayed here one night and got a great price from hotels, com. The place is pretty with a great entry room with a nice sitting area and fireplace. They do not provide a breakfast, but you can buy a breakfast "coupon" at the desk --essentially breakfast will cost you $8.00 for the coupon then you can have anything off the breakfast menu up to $15.00. (weird arrangement but considering the area $8.00 for anything is pretty good). We used the hot tub, as we had been on a long horseback ride. I... Read more

Happy Hour is great and they have an area where the parents can relax, have appetizer's/drinks and watch their kids have fun, playing with the other kids that have gathered. We drove in from the west and thought we'd missed the hotel, it's right on the eastern side of town. Too far to walk to the ski area restaurants and downtown. Room was clean but small and very dark and could do with updating and some brighter lighting! Breakfast was good the next morning, but we're used to free Holiday Inn breakfasts! Although the selection was much better than the freebies and the service was very good, it was pricey.

But over $200 for a room where the closet door (bifold mirrored) doesn't work without battling it and makes screeching noise to open and shut, where you're tripping over suitcases due to the small space and nowhere for 3 people to put them, and where you sleep in an odd position (and frozen still) on double beds (no queens? 200 plus?) for fear of pulling covers off your partner or elbowing them?... Check in very nice and attentive. Beds comfortable. Regular showers with plenty of water. On-Site restaurant was excellent, for both breakfast and dinner. Only one negative: the maids knocked on our door first at 9:00 Am and then 10:00 AM and then again at 11:30 AM. Only way to stop this is to place one of those cards that show that you do not want to be disturbed in the key hole. (We forgot to do this).

Room was clean and quiet. Easy access and we liked Rex's next door. I do not like that this HI does not have continental breakfast and they want you to pay $8 for $15 to eat at Rex's. Ironically they have a sign in the lobby advertising the "standard" breakfast at HI. Location makes it expensive $177 to 197 on weeknights with the $20 dog fee. I think breakfast should be "standard". Check in was quick and easy. Staff were friendly.
