AMAZING!! This place has everything you could want and more. Great rooms, great breakfast and a friendly staff. The suites have several options for beds- with a master king room and 2 queens and a pull out sofa available in the living room. There are also two separate bathrooms and a walk in closet. The breakfast area has a nice flat screen tv and plenty of room to sit by the fire. Great place I didn't want to leave!

I would have only this hotel a 3 star rating if it were based only on the hotel amenities. There were things in our room that needed updating and basic repair, our mini fridge froze everything we put into it, and the bed pillows were the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. The continental breakfast was average, but certainly adequate and the breakfast room was clean. The great part: the outstanding personal service! Every employee I encountered while staying at the hotel was friendly and he... Read more

I stayed here on business - for two nights. The front desk, no matter who was working when I stopped by, was super nice and very personable. Breakfast was the standard Hampton fare, which works for me. The breakfast nook and sitting area were very nice. I loved the fire place. Especially since it was still snowing the last couple of days of April! The gym was great. I love the fact that you have more than just cardio equipment. Steamboat Springs is a fun place to visit and we found our room at the Hampton very nice. It had a ski resort/mountain "feel" our room was lovely, the bed comfortable, it was quiet, we even had a nice view of a stream with trees and grass and the road out in the distance, it was raining and we felt cozy in our room. It was close to town, restaurants and shopping. We would stay here again.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Steamboat for 3 weeks on business. I was upgraded to a huge suite which was very nice, however to reach the suite you had to climb a flight of stairs, not easy with heavy suitcases! I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. Everyone, from front desk to housekeeping, was super nice and helpful. Funky layout. Lobby on second floor. The good: breakfast, fruit and cookies in lobby, not a bad location. Less good: so-so room. No frig or microwave. Bed was not comfortable for me, nor were pillows. Outdoor pool and hot tubs not clean.

We stopped in Steamboat for a night on the way back from Yellowstone. This is a fairly new property and has nice amenities, including three outdoor hot tubs which we visited. The hotel is on the main street, right on the highway, but even though our room faced the road it was quiet. It was a nice room, good sized and very clean, but there was some kind of smell that permeated everything in our luggage, even my yoga mat. Other than that, the property is decent.

I don't give any place a two star rating unless they substantially miss the fundamentals of the business in a gross way. I travel extensively. I often stay in Hampton Inns because of relatively consistent quality. I picked the Hampton in Steamboat Springs as a "sure thing." Although the room assigned the first night was less than satisfactory in terms of the noise level, the manager on duty bent over backwards to assure me that the rest of the stay would more than make up for the lack of sleep the first night. Called the desk at 10:45 and asked how much longer the noise would continue - was informed that no one was moving fur... Read more

The staff were friendly, energetic, and helpful. The mini-store items for purchase were well stocked and reasonably priced. The free breakfast was well stocked. The location was fairly good. The rooms were clean for being a slightly older hotel. The main entrance looks like a bit like a rear entrance because the lobby is not immediately visible at the door.

With this being an unplanned visit we did not have reservations. There might be nicer or more unique places to stay here I am sure, but as time did not permt a thorough search this place was nice for a nights sleep and shower. This hotel has definitely seen high use. Small issue with the below window AC unit. Just as the rattling plastic cover was getting extremely annoying it then fell off and all was well. Breakfast was good.

Awesome staff, great location, comfy rooms & yummy breakfast. From the front desk, to the breakfast and housekeeping staff, they make you feel welcome and desire to ensure your stay is great. The location is a 10 minute (beautiful) walk along the river to the quant downtown area of Steamboat where there are awesome shops and restaurants. The rooms are extremely cozy and the mattresses & pillows are comfy. The furnishings are nice. We have stayed here 5 times in the last 3 years and the brea... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn Steamboat springs. Charlie at the front desk was courteous and professional. He was very warm and engaging and seemed very genuine in his desire to make sure we were informed about the hotel and surrounding area. Our room was clean, cozy and well appointed. We were on the 3rd floor with a lovely view of the mountain and park. We never saw or heard a train even once. The walk along the river to downtown was delightful.

This is a beautiful place to stay - can't believe the price. At first when viewing the site we thought it would be too expensive but it was very reasonable - friendly staff, excellent and healthy breakfast, paved walking trail adjacent to property, along a river with beautiful mountain views, short walk to downtown..

A little disappointed in this particular Hampton given my prior experience with the chain. Room was small, without a mini-fridge. The TV was smaller than expected. Bed and bathroom were comfortable and well appointed. No major complaints. Just felt that what was offered didn't provide enough value.

The best part of this hotel is the location. You can park your car and walk 10 -15 minutes right into town. The only part about returning at night are the moose in the area, Didn't see one. But was warned twice about them. Check in went smooth. Wasn't offered the Hilton Honor items such as water, soda and a snack at check-in. But did retrieve bottle water the next day. They do offer cookies, coffee and glasses of water at check-in for all customers. Room 300 (That you enter from the 2nd floor) w... Read more

My elderly parents and I stayed for 3 nights. The 3rd floor rooms required walking upstairs (no elevator access) but they were super accommodations. We loved the breakfasts...way beyond some of the complimentary breakfasts we have experienced.

This was my second stay at this particular hotel, and the title of my review says it all. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and laid out well. The continental breakfast has something to suit everyone. The biggest problem was that our room was dirty. The carpet was so dirty that you had to wear shoes in the room. Corners of the room were seemingly never vacuumed, as I found a hair tie in the living area that didn't belong to me. The bathroom walls needed ... Read more

Stayed on business trip in mid October. The place is clean, well kept, has a friendly staff, and overall a very good spot to stay. The location is good if you want to go downtown or venture out on the edge of town for dinner or whatever. The river trail right behind the hotel is great for taking a nice walk in a very pretty setting.

We had a two night stay here. I am very happy that we chose it. It's clean and the right size hotel. The rooms style is unique for a Hampton Inn and we found that refreshing. We were on the 3rd floor where each room had a their own private staircase. Location is perfect. My main reason for writing a review is for management to know what an outstanding employee they have working for them. Charlie at the Front Desk was quick to respond to a TV issue we were having. It's a Hampton, right? However, as a frequent guest in both summer and winter, I can attest the property is not your ordinary Hampton. Sure, the standard institutional furnishings smack of low-end Hilton, but the service and location are above average. As a HitlonHonors elite member, the standard amenities are offered except during ski season where I have rarely received a room upgrade. The common area has a great view and property is exceptionally maintained. Of all my Hampton visits to pr... Read more

Met a friend in Steamboat for the night. We choose to stay in town versus the hot springs. Found the location of the hotel to be convenient to shops, the hot springs and restaurants. We were happily surprised by two bathrooms in the room. The closet was huge. A large family could be very happy with room for everyone. Clean & friendly

The room it's was amazing! 2 king beds AND a queen sized pullout was more than enough for my two friends and I. BUT they woman working at the front desk was a huge disappointment. As a Hilton employee, I was very confused as to how she was acting. When I checked in, she didn't check my ID. I left and came back to the hotel a couple times, every time I came back, she was sitting on the couches in front of the desk, looking at her phone. This Hampton Inn was just right in every way. Clean, well kept, nice facility and the staff was friendly, attentive and helpful at every turn. The front desk mapped out things to do and places to go. At breakfast, the staff was immediately cleaning up after people left and greeted you as they walked by.
