Place was quiet and pretty clean. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds slept good and bathrooms were clean. Showers worked well and had good hot water. The pool and hot tub were nice to see but did not go in hot tub as had some residue or something floating on top.

Pros: easy parking, updated bathrooms Cons: - they put you right next to someone else even if the hotel is pretty empty - the blackout drapes don't work - my fan in the bathroom started making noise at 6am (presumably from the people on the 2nd floor using theirs?) and I couldn't get it to stop so I had to turn the fan on and close the door - my blanket had bleach stains on it

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable...the breakfast was very lacking...the jacuzzi had a scum film on it...

Pool was ice cold and the spa didn't work. We got the explanation that if the pool heater was turned on the a/c had to work harder which also made the pool heater work harder. The explanation we got for the hot tub not working is, "it broken." The a/c in the room did not work very well, either. When we got there, the room was at 75 degrees and 3 hours later had only gone down 1 degree.

This motel was very clean and the management I believe would do anything they could to make your stay better. I was just there for the one night and just had a hard time sleeping. Part was noise and part was the heating and cooling did not maintain a comfortable temperature. But all else considered, the price was reasonable, and you could not ask for a cleaner place and the management was as friendly as they come.

Great price! The beds were good..Pillows labeled firm & soft were not correct, lol..but it was an overall good stay! The front desk guy was a little hard to communicate with while checking in.

Booked the room based on location and for a party of 6. The staff was friendly - the room was dirtier than expected based on what appears to be a newer facility. The breakfast is horrible

Really great stay, the sweetest and most helpful staff and at such a great price, we also woke up with a beautiful view! Will visit again if I'm in the area. I was thankful for the kindness and accommodation of the staff. It really made a big difference!

Good facility. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Paid $20.00 x 2 for 2 dogs. There was a good place to walk them outside.

This hotel was clean and very comfortable. The only drawback was that there were only 3 places to eat nearby: Dominos, Wendys or 1 sit down restaurant. Huge dispensary right across the street.

The hotel was nice, or rooms were clean, Check in was easy. But, they charged for additional people in the room and it was nowhere on the website about that. The hotel price was low but they then charged $10 per person in the room.

We stayed one night in Days inn. Room was simply average: TV, microwave in room. Breakfast was awful: scrambled eggs uncooked, oatmeal salty, watery, coffee to plane, not strong enough. Definitely needs an improvement in that!

The room we had (King Suite) was roomie and nice. The towels were very small and worn out, lots of strings hanging on them. Ice machine on the 3rd floor (our floor) was broke, had to go to the 1st floor. The breakfast was a joke. They had runny eggs, white bread, cereal with no milk, no fresh fruit, orange juice was very watery, the only thing that looked eatable was their waffles. The four of us decided to go elsewhere to eat.

This hotel is easy to find and had some good features. The hotel had an indoor pool and an elevator. The fridge/freezer and microwave worked well. The room was clean, and even though there were several rooms occupied, it was very quiet. Breakfast was fair--powdered eggs that weren't so hot, but waffles were. Cereals were geared for kids. Good, safe area. The only really bad thing was they used some sort of funky cleaning supply that had a bad odor.

A nice stopover hotel. I found rooms quite nice, large, and quiet despite being next to I-70. My favorite thing is their DirecTV programming; lots of channels! Only notable negative is the towels are very thin and rough which seemed rather inconsistent with other features of room. Price was also very reasonable. I did not have breakfast so cannot comment.

Family managed hotel. Clean room and family is working om site. Son even came to our room to set up the tv as someone had changed it to games use. The town doesn't have a lot of places to shop and eat but this is a first class stop while traveling near Parachute. Nice family too

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. We arrived late so dining options were limited. We do not recommend the restaurant across the street! Pool and hot tub were nice. The view of the river from our room was nice. Breakfast in the morning was also not that great but we slept well so we just went on our way. The price was very reasonable.

For anyone who wants a good, low cost place to stay in the area, this is it! I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem. The room was clean and good quality, and the price was the lowest I found on my trip -- under $65 for the night. The view from the property is also something to behold!

Found out Parachute isn't as nice as the map shows. Hotel was nice, comfortable, clean. Pool was fairly clean, but warm. Chinese restaurant is like McDonalds with a Chinese name. Freaky Battlement Mesa town above Parachute. All neighborhoods are sectioned off high class to low class with signs about convenants. Only saw one person out on a Saturday night in that town. Cars were parked neatly in the driveways through the peak through entry. Did I say freaky?

All in all, the new management have clearly worked hard to make this a clean and up-to-date facility. The room was impeccable! But overcharging and an inadequate breakfast made it a poor value. Five stars for the room; one star for price and breakfast. There were two issues: 1. The rate. I looked up the rates on their website, but wasn't sure I would make it that far, so didn't make a reservation. When I arrived late at night, the rate the clerk required was exactly twice the rate shown o... Read more

Clean comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet with beautiful views of the Colorado mountains. Good shower. For most quiet room I'd suggest always the top floor. Sausage and eggs with the normal breakfast fare. Definitely did not feel like a budget hotel.

This hotel is conveniently located right off I-70. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I got a great night's sleep before continuing my road trip to Grand Junction(which is only about 30-40 mins away). About 15-20 mins from Palisade. A microwave and fridge was in the room. Nice size bathroom. Non-smoking rooms. We reserved a room and paid for it. When we got to the hotel they had no room for us. We had to find another hotel at the last minute. When I called to file a formal complaint the front desk lady hung up on me. Telling me I told you when you were here there are no room. I gave you a refund and then hung up on me.

Nice room, clean and spacious--and the right price thru Wyndam Rewards (senior discount). Minor "nit-pick" was the breakfast had no fruit and no protein--only massive CARBS (they said their truck was delayed). Also, the front desk clerk was unaware of the Tourist Information Place directly across the Interstate. Had it not been for this I'd give them a solid 4.5 Big PLUS was that there was an EXCELLENT Chinese place, right next to the Tourist Info place

The room was very nice, clean, comfortable. The desk clerk was efficient and pleasant. The only down side was the breakfast which was terrible. The coffee was watery, the eggs were cold, the toaster didn't work well, margarine instead of butter. We will stay again, but not count on breakfast. The restaurant across the street "Shomey" was very good though.

We stay at the Days Inn whenever we travel to Grand Junction from Denver; this is our 3rd stay this year. Rooms are very clean and I enjoy having a fridge and micro in our room. Showers have a nice rain-type shower head. Breakfast selection is decent, though I tend to supplement with fruit I bring along. Mattresses are firm. They allow dogs up to 50 pounds for $20 per dog per night.

All hotels were full in the area with a bike event and parents weekend. Called the Days Inn and was told the only room available was a suite at $169 per night. Upon arrival, the room assigned had two double beds with a sitting area and coffee table - not even separated from the sleeping area. A suite? Really? at $169 per night which ended up being $200 with taxes and all. And this at a roadside Days Inn? Hotel was dated, common areas dirty and a breakfast room with minimal offerings and so ...
