From Denver:
Take interstate 70 west to Grand Junction, south on route 50 to Montrose. Continue south route 550 to Ridgway, turn right onto route 62. Follow to route 145 and turn left.
Proceed up this highway for 14 miles to a 3-way intersection, & turn right towards "Mountain Village". on Hwy 145. Proceed approx 2 miles to Mountain Village entrance on your left. Drive to the Mountain Village core 2.5 miles, until you arrive at Lost Creek Lane. Turn right on Lost Creek Lane and proceed past the Blue Mesa building to the Inn at Lost Creek porte cochere ont he circle on your left.
From Montrose:
Go south on route 550 to Ridgway then turn right onto route 62. Follow this to route 145 and turn left. Proceed up this highway for 14 miles to a 3-way intersection, 3 miles from town of Telluride. Turn right at 3-way intersection marked with mileage. Turn right towards "Mountain Village" on Hwy. 145. Proceed approx. 2 miles to the Mountain Village entrance. Turn right on Mountain Village Blvd. and proceed 2.5 miles until you arrive at Lost Creek Lane. Turn right on Lost Creek Lane and proceed past the Blue Mesa building to the Inn at Lost Creek on your left.
From Durango
You have two driving options to Telluride from Durango. These directions explain both options.
ROUTE ONE: This 120 mile easy scenic drive through Dolores and Rico, takes you over Lizard Head Pass to Telluride in approximately 2-3 hours.
From Durango, take Hwy. 160 West 35 miles to Mancos. Turn right onto Hwy. 184 at Mancos and drive towards Dolores to Hwy. 145. Turn right onto Highway 145 and proceed towards the town of Dolores.
Continue on Hwy.145 for approximately 70 miles through, Dolores, Rico, Lizard Head Pass, past Trout Lake and Ophir. As you approach the Telluride area, you will see two signs on your left marked “Ski Ranches”. Proceed ˝ mile from the last Ski Ranch sign to Mountain Village.
Turn right onto Mountain Village Boulevard and drive approximately 2.5 miles. to the Village Core. You will pass Parking and drive under a bridge before arriving at the Village Center. Take a soft right on Lost Creek Lane and proceed around the circle to the porte cochere.
