This is a pretty typical Hampton Inn right next to the airport in Montrose. We did not notice any significant noise from this location. The room itself was standard fair for this chain and was clean. Good value for the money.

Stayed here twice and it is in a good location, is quite and clean. The parking is a bit limited. The pool area was well kept and the breakfast was pretty good as part of the stay. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioner worked very well.

This hotel was a great value for the money. First of all, the pillows were better than any place where we've ever stayed, including five-star resorts. Kudos! The room and bedding were REALLY clean. Staff was friendly and breakfast was included. The GM was very accommodating to our needs.

Hotel was nice and clean, staff very friendly, location was okay. It seemed a bit far away from restaurants, shopping and services. We definitely would choose this hotel again when we are passing through, but would not use it to stay at if we were going to spend a long period of time in the area.

Traveled here on combination of business and leisure and were most pleased with the good bed, good service and cleanliness of this hotel. It's not new but staff, location to Black Canyon and the Grand Mesa and its furnishings are all good. Woul stay again if coming to theValley for any reason.

This was the second time I have stayed at this property. Generally I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. The staff are polite, friendly and professional. However, entering the room on my last stay I was greeted with the most overpowering smell of curry. My throat literally closed. While this is is not the hotels fault, housekeeping should have identified this as an issue and corrected it prior to releasing the room. We are traveling north. We have stayed at hundreds of hotels in the last few years. This hotel ranks with the best of them though there is nothing fancy about it. The positives: clean hotel and rooms, friendly staff, good wifi, excellent water pressure in sink and shower, good breakfast with waffle maker and fresh fruit, good a/c, large widescreen tv but mediocre picture, large room. The negatives: poor room lighting, mattress way too soft though that is a personal preference(we like a firm mat... Read more

We enjoy staying at Hampton inn and this was a good one at which to stop. We had ample room and my son enjoyed the pool. My only complaint was that I needed to do laundry and there was only one machine. I had three loads to do so it took me hours. Also, about six others came seeking use of the machine and I felt bad using it all night. Also, the laundry room was miserably hot and there was not chair to sit in while I waited. Breakfast was great and everything else was comfortable.

My husband and I had no idea where we were staying on our trip to Colorado. I did a search on TripAdvisor on the way, found the Hampton, read the reviews, decided the price was reasonable, so gave them a call. They were very helpful on the phone and even lowered the price over what I found on my search. The hotel was very nice, the bed was comfortable, and the room itself was great. Just a regular Hampton Inn place. We stayed overnight on our way to the Black Canyon and further through Colorado. The hotel was clean, quiet and well maintained, breakfast the same thing you would anywhere else (but the staff was very nice and friendly). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Hampton. It was right downtown on Main Street and was with in walking distance of shops, hotels, and even the art walk. There was a Starbucks close by as well as a lot of local shops. Great Mexican place not too far from here. The staff was super friendly, and breakfast was incredible...even better than most Hamptons. Literally next door to Montrose airport, so if you have an early flight (mine was 6:20am), it's the closest to the airport. I literally walk to the terminal (about 1/4 mile). At $150, it's more than what I need (a bed and bathroom), but the location is the premium for me. If you book at another hotel, verify that they offer an airport shuttle. Last year one advertised a shuttle, but didn't have one. The manager's nephew ended up driving me to the airport!

The breakfast, rooms, decor, and service are all the minimum that you would expect from the brand. Nothing shines, nothing is special, nothing extra, its just a Hampton Inn giving the bare minimum to keep their franchise. After taking something off my bucket list (driving the Million-Dollar Highway), this Hampton popped up right at dusk. The staff was friendly and provided a fair price for a room that was clean and quiet. Nearby dining options were unimpressive - a service station next door offered an A&W sharing space with Long John Silver's. Hampton's breakfast the next morning, however, was pleasant: mini-omelets and a maple-smoked sausage.
