Overall, the hotel was just as I've come to expect from a Hampton - very neat, very clean, with all the amenities needed. Hotel employees were pleasant and helpful. Hampton Inn always provides a great assortment for breakfast, the beds were comfortable, even for an older location. Definitely serves it's purpose and met the needs of our week long stay.

Nice hotel, comfy beds and clean room. Breakfast is much better than a lot of American hotels (which isn't saying much) - buffet style with a range of hot and cold food. They checked us into a room with 1 bed for 3 people (!?), but soon changed our room when we highlighted the issue. Hotel is 30 mins drive from centre of Denver and on a Main Street only 4-5 miles from Walmart. Plenty of restaurants within a couple of minutes.

I stayed there with my 91yr old Mom and we loved our stay there. They made us feel like family. Great breakfast & everyone was very helpful. We did miss a frig & microwave in the room but, they did provide alternate solutions to us. The "Grab & Go" breakfast was the bomb. I definitely would stay there again. Unfortunately, the prices do go up in the summer. Have to go back to Denver, can't afford to stay there.

Please see my earlier review ; o wanted to submit pics! The famine the bedroom was a real plus! Another plus is that each room has its own thermostat! The courtyard terrace is a great place to relax and the sports center is indoor/outdoor! The wifi is free and quite good - you can upgrade to faster HD wifi for only $4.95 per day. Very convenient to restaurants and fast food!

My family and I were in town for a show at Red Rocks, and decided to stay somewhat close to the venue. The hotel seems a bit dated, the staff was accommodating and knowledgeable on local attractions. The only complaint I had was that the parking situation in the evening was not ideal. There were vehicles parked in the fire lane because parking was sparse. There were several "improperly parked" vehicles, and plenty signs "warning" the improperly parked vehicles about being towed. But there was no... Read more

I was at this hotel for nearly a week, first staying there on my own for 2 nights then joining a group of friends for a wedding we were in town for. Most everything was great, but two things stuck out to me. One was the quality of the complimentary breakfast, which had a hot selection that varied from day to day, and a cold section with all the staples you might usually want (cereal, bagels, yogurt, fruit, etc). Second, the staff was just great. From the front desk people to the staff cleaning t... Read more

We stayed here for a few days visiting friends. Though the staff is great, May is wonderful. She works harder than anyone at the hotel making sure all the breakfast & drinks are full for the guests. I sat, eating breakfast, watching her work her tail off while the others cleaned an occasional table. The hotel is wonderful & clean. As mentioned elsewhere, this hotel did not start out as a Hampton Inn. We chose this location because it was convenient to a highway and the price was right. Next time I'm in the area I'll check out a different Hampton. Here's why. I'm a HHonors member and one of the perks is online check in. The map of the rooms was confusing because of the different-style building compared to other Hamptons. The hotel has an atrium that runs down the middle of both wings (hotel is L-shaped). Cold water and iced coffee was available just inside the hotel doors, which was a nice treat on a hot day. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Complimentary internet in the room was slow. This was not the typical Hampton experience. Friendly staff did not make up for the excessive heat. Common areas and guest room were very uncomfortable because the A/C was just not there. Room unit ran constantly, but never cooled the room. Could not sleep and just sweated it out. Carpet and furniture were not up to Hampton quality either.

Cleaning service was horrible- when they showed up at all. Dirty washcloths sat on the shower floor for 3 days, even after I complained to the manager multiple times. This is probably my worst experience with a hotel stay ever! I was forced to change my hotel room due to the hotel's mistake. I had to leave the function I was attending to do so or else the hotel staff was going to move my belongings for me. I was never given a real reason as to why this was happening to me and my family. a few of my families were told that when they were checking in that their reservation was cancelled.

This hotel definitely underdelivered compared to other Hampton properties I've experienced in the past. Wifi was spotty, staff seemed untrained, and the hotel itself seemed like it may have been recently converted from another hotel brand. It all felt a little rundown and old. That said, the Hampton bed is still so comfortable.

Stayed here with a group of friends for four nights. We had no real problems (housekeeping was hit or miss) and the breakfast ends at 10 am on a Sunday (most places go until eleven) and featured a lackluster selection . The building is a little dated on the outside but has been completely redone inside. The guest rooms were nice and the housekeeping staff did a good job. The breakfast area can get crowded but the pool is right outside if the weather is warm. Our room had an "old cigarette" smell which was probably coming from the A/C unit. We went to take a shower and had no hot water. This is a older property but no excuse for the issues I mentioned. We have used this hotel several times over the last few years and have ALWAYS enjoyed our stay. It is clean and well cared for. The staff obviously not only take their jobs seriously but actually do care both about the guests AND the property itself. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Clean and pleasing accommodations. Highly recommend.

I chose this hotel for the location. I should have been less lazy and picked a hotel farther from the office. The room i had was tiny, the bathroom door hit the toilet, so i had to squeeze in the opening and close the door to use the facilities. The heater/AC didn't keep a consistent temp, it either made the room a sauna or an icebox, there was no inbetween. At least the room had good water pressure for the shower, and the bed was clean and comfy.

Stayed at this Hampton in Southwest/Lakewood, due to location, easy access to where I needed to work, convenient to jump on the highway to head up to the mountains to ski. The staff, was very nice and helpful. There is a nice mexican restaurant walking distance. Also Morrison a quaint small town is near buy. The downside, this is an older hotel, and there is not a hot tub. Other than those two things, I would stay at this hotel again.

excellent staff - good price for Denver, CO - I will stay at this location again. Rooms are OK - Breakfast provided -other - dinning are located a short walk from hotel - Parking is OK - One block to hwy #285 - Traffic during rush hours in Denver is a problem. Need to plan time to get to anywhere in the Denver, CO city.
