Hotel was quiet, staff was friendly and they allow pets but that's as far as the compliments can go. We stayed for a week and this property has gone downhill. Even if properties aren't updated they should be kept sparkling clean. There's dirt in the corners in the hallways, elevators, etc. The sheets on our bed had makeup on them so I had to ask for clean sheets. How do they get by without washing the sheets - unacceptable! The room was ok but, again, dirt in the corners so it appears as though ... Read more

Great service, great location, very nice hotel. We were impressed by the clerks helping us with checking in early and moving to another room when there was an awful smoking odor in our area of the hotel. Rest here!

No reason to nitpick when a place is more expensive than "budget." This hotel did deliver, with cleanliness, service, breakfast and attractiveness, and I got a pretty good rate by booking ahead on a general hotel/motel site

We stayed it this La Quinta in late April. We stayed because it was reasonable and pet friendly. It was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in all of our years traveling. The room was well appointed with a back door opening onto fenced in courtyard. The beds were very comfy with nice bedding. The breakfast was an elevated, standard breakfast food and good coffee. Very quiet. Will stay again.

This is a great hotel to spend the day at! The pool and large courtyard are great! The lobby is also large, bright, and very comfortable with a lot of seating. Kids will love the breakfast too with make your own waffles, cereals, and sweet breads. The light rail train is close by and can be ridden right downtown to the 16th street mall or Elitch Garden's amusement park.

I had made our reservation for an ADA approved room with two beds, many weeks (2 months) in advance. When we arrived at the hotel I was informed that this room was no longer available "the people who are in it have decided to stay longer". They offered an ADA approved room with one king size bed. I was traveling with my sister and we really wanted to sleep in separate beds. When I expressed my dismay over the one bed room, the manager immediately made it right. He gave us two adjoining room... Read more

The room was adequate for the price. Should have gotten one with a refrigerator. When we were there, a group of young people was there for a tennis camp. I don't think the hotel was prepared for the amount of food that hungry teenage boys will consume because breakfast was almost completely empty within 45 minutes of the start. Had to ask for milk for cereal and the trash was overflowing. Overall the stay was great, with a hotel full of teenagers it was a quiet, so the rooms are very noise insul... Read more

The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the facility and rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed here a week on business and had a King suite with a refrigerator and microwave. The first night we were here, the door fell of the fridge. We called for maintenance and they quickly came up and re- fastened the door. The second day, we discovered that the electricity didn't work in the bathroom, thus no hair dryer. The third day, the elevator was out for quite some time in the morning. The st... Read more

I was on a business trip with other co-workers and informed the staff at the desk at the beginning of June, that we would all be staying until September and paying every Friday for the week of stay. We were all notified on June 24, 2016 that this hotel had booked all of our rooms to other guests (while we were currently staying there)! We were informed that we only booked for a week at a time. The guy at the desk was extremely rude and condescending. We were pretty much told "too bad" and we wer... Read more

In case you are a newbie to Denver hotels, it pays to be picky about LOCATION. Some of the really nice hotel chains are located in really sketchy areas where it's not really safe-feeling day or night. This one is in a nice area, has pretty grounds, courtyard & pool. I've been there with groups of adults and also for vacation time with young grandkids. It's not perfect, but it's usually clean, the electric outlets, etc. actually WORK and it is close to several good places to eat (The View, Ma... Read more

The staff us usually friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms are average. Maintenance and equipment needs to be updated. Tubs do not drain well and are typically grey. Couches many times are torn and not repaired. AC can be noisy. Breakfast is anemic at best. I do not see corporate making efforts to improve reinvest in the hotels. I only stay here because I have a well behaved border collie who sleeps in his kennel. Otherwise I would look elsewhere.

I stayed here for a business conference. The room was standard but the bathtub needed a facelift. They did provide breakfast but there was limited selection. The management was great and very accommodating. I had asked for a king when I signed up for the conference but I was given a room with two queen beds. After inquiring if the situation could be remedied the manager quickly found me a room with a king.

Place was clean, close to the highway and Joe was awesome during check in. The process of checking in was fast and I would stay again plenty of room and a comfortable bed. Lots of places to eat and a IHOP in the parking lot of the hotel was smart , on the other side of the hotel is the bar is one of denvers highly rated bars the view is right there . Great place.

We asked for the first floor. We were placed in a room that had a connecting room. Oh my goodness! The people in that room had one level. LOUD. Their voices came through that door quite clearly. There wasn't enough insulation in the doors. I've stayed in other rooms that could be connected and never had that problem. The king bed needed to be replaced. It was like being in a bowl. The edge was stiff, then plop I was in the middle. The noise level from the traffic was loud. There is a "hot spot" ... Read more

Price range was one of the best around, hotel was nice and the breakfast was good fast breakfast food. Rooms and hotel was a little outdated, run down, but it was pretty nice and not too bad. It was clean, and everything was cleaned on a daily schedule. Some aspects were nice, like newer flat screens and newer looking lobby. No fridge in room was a little odd to me. Overall nice stay.

Overall we had a good experience. The rooms are larger than average and well appointed. We actually stayed in the same room we were in 3 months prior on a business trip. The hotel is easy to find and there are many nice places to eat close by. Our only criticism as noted below is the breakfast options.

We stayed two nights. Very clean room. Nice furniture. Fresh sheets and towels. Beautiful courtyard. I requested first floor and got it. Dogs are allowed! Good breakfast and Elvia was doing great job taking care of the very very large crowd! The only minor complaint. There was no hard wired internet in the room (as advertised) but there is wifi!

We have stayed in this hotel as it is close to where family lives in Denver. Staff is helpful, friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean, well-stocked. Pool area and hot tub are kept clean and the grounds are very nice, with a well-landscaped courtyard. Close to restaurants. Pet friendly and a good value. Breakfast bar available.

The breakfast, service and room are adequate for the price. The beds are comfortable and towels are plush enough. However, the facility is in need of renovation, especially carpets, paint and bathrooms. Room service did not include daily vacuuming and bathroom cleaning during our 4 day stay.

We stayed at this hotel as it was close to an event we were going to. When you walk in the door an order smacks you in the face. It's even worse in the room. We were on the main floor and had a patio door. We had the door open for several hours and the smell never got any better. The room was not cleaned very well. I went to Denver with my son to go to a Broncos game. i booked this hotel through price line at a good rate. I was presently surprised. It met our needs perfectly. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, check in was quick and easy, staff was friendly. The hotel could use a remodel, but that;s the case with most hotels in this price range.

We were very satisfied with the service at this La Quinta. However, the rooms and bathrooms were EXTREMELY outdated. We also only had 2 lights in the room that worked and 1 available outlet for charging electronics.

First off, my husband is an Elite card holder with La Quinta. The hotel chain has never disappointed us and we have stayed at this DTC location many times. However, this last time, Sept. 22, was a different story. As an Elite member, I am disappointed. We were put into a room without a microwave and without a refrigerator. We requested a room in a quiet location and was given one right across from the elevator. Normally, we are given a welcome bag with a small snack and bottle of water. What hap... Read more
