The Staff at the front was very helpful, as we were stuck in Frisco with I-70 closed. The room was clean and the amenities more than met our needs. We were directed to a very authentic Mexican restaurant by the Staff. We enjoyed a nice meal and then a very restful stay at Holiday Inn.

If this HI was < $100, I wouldn't feel so bad, but it wasn't really worth the $150 we paid for a king room. This is an OLD hotel, and it shows. Rooms were VERY small...I mean, you could barely walk around the king sized bed...quite claustrophobic. Bed was clean and comfortable though. Bath is very small, with little room for items. The shower ran out of hot water on the second shower. The tub wouldn't drain at all, so we finished showering standing in 6 inches of dirty water! The fridge didn... Read more

Visiting my son and pleased to find a great place to stay. Not new, but everything is clean, well maintained and the layout is smart. Game room - same day dry-cleaning! WIFI was fast, mattress was comfortable, and there was a safe space to park the bike trailer. Good example of how to be a classy place even with a few decades of history.

The first impression at this hotel was great. The guy at the front desk was attentive without being overbearing, and made sure we had everything we needed before heading up to our room, which was clean and comfortable with a king bed. The mini fridge could've kept things a little bit colder though.

Wow! What a beautiful place being able to see the Rocky Mountains out your window. The hotel lobby was beautiful. The room was a typical hotel room. No complaints and would stay here again if I was ever in the area.

Stayed with husband for business trip. Requested king room with lake view. Paid almost 10.00 more for 'lake' view, but when we got to room, there was no view except of parking lot. Went back to front desk, and very nice, honest young man said that ever since the condos went in, view was gone. If that is the case, then wording and price need to reflect that. Room was below average for a Holiday Inn, and had an unpleasant mildew smell. Very disappointed.

I wasn't really sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. I received a warm, professional greeting when we arrived. The rooms are large and clean. I'm a stickler for bathrooms, and these bathrooms are immaculate. Beds are soft and comfy. The pool area looked good also, although we didn't get a chance to see it. I would come back to this Holiday Inn location.

We just wanted to get out of the city for a night and since it was a last minute trip, it was slim pickins as far as availability went. I decided to take a chance with Priceline and name my own price and totally lucked out. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was super friendly. My only complaint is that we could hear everything going on in the hallway... ice machine every 5 minutes, people walking by, etc.

I was very pleased with the hotel overall. The front desk was friendly, the accommodations were clean, and the location is fantastic. After deciding to go on a last minute get away for the 4th of July weekend, I could not have been more pleased with the location that we chose. Minutes drive from Lake Dillon, Silverthorne, and Main Street Frisco. I will certainly stay here again.

Housekeeping is hit or miss. Over a 5 night stay, sometimes my room was made up, sometimes, it wasn't; sometimes they left soap and shampoo, sometimes they didn't. One day they disabled my key card while I was out. The front desk staff - average age 18 - are chipper and cheerful - and have no clue. When you check out, make sure your bill is right and that any holds have been removed from your card - because they won't.

Usually you can count on a Holiday Inn being pretty reliable. This hotel was not the case.....Upon check in... we choose a lake view...Definitely not worth the extra $20.00 charge to be on the "lake" side of the hotel. Stains everywhere, on the top quilt, on the side chair. Room extremely small and cramped. Stained ceiling by the elevators and wall paper peeling off. Time for a major update on this location. Will definitely choose another hotel for a stay in this area.

This hotel should be avoided if you expect any kind of service. First morning we went to the restaurant for breakfast and the "waiter" had no people skills. A little later, another "waiter" with a great positive attitude took over the table. I mentioned the "no people skills" to this person and was told the first guy was the General Manager. Later, in the breakfast the GM came out and confronted our table asking, "I hear you have a problem with me". Talk about compounding the issue! After the... Read more

Nice clean hotel right off of I70. Walking distance to the lake and the city bike/walking path. The king bed we had was very comfortable. After driving around the area, I would recommend staying in Frisco. It is a smaller town and a nice Main Street area.

I booked this room last minute on Expedia for my family & I to stay in for the night. This is the worst Holiday Inn we've ever stayed at. The building is dated on both the outside & inside. When we walked into the lobby, it looked promising, until we tried to find our room. There's access to rooms on the right & left of the front desk, however there are only signs directing guests to rooms above 200 on the left. We asked the man working at the front desk for directions & he hastily pointed us t... Read more

We were there for only one night on our way to Aspen, but overall our stay was satisfactory. The room was clean, front desk was courteous and efficient handling our check in. Starbucks right next door is convenient in the morning. Lots of store and shopping one exit down and around the hotel.

We had a pleasant stay at this Holiday Inn - the person at the reception desk was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean - except there was a lingering odor of perspiration. Not sure if it was the rug - we turned up the air and were fine with it for the night. The bathroom was also clean but could use a hook or something to hang the hand towel.

This hotel was clean and comfy. It has very traditional updated decor. We had a tiny fridge in the room. Bathroom was roomy, plenty of towels. Location was really good, near I-70, a walk to Starbucks and Whole Foods. Free parking. Staff was pleasant and accomodating.

Cyn and Ben were incredible. I will always stop in to The Sporting News Grill when I am in town. They were friendly and genuine, but knew to keep their distance as I was in the restaurant to get some work done. Very easy going and excellent service. It also helped that the food was excellent. Thank you for such great service!

Frisco is one of our favorite places to vacation. The Holiday Inn is in an ideal location for a quick visit. Easy access to the recreation path around Lake Dillon. Room was clean. Bathroom seems to have been recently updated. Front Desk staff could use more training in customer service.

I accidentally left my bathing suit hanging up in the closet of my room when I left. I realized it a few hours later and called the hotel. They transferred me to a voicemail where I left my name, room #, and call back number. I never heard back so I called again the next day. My husband and I had a stay here during the summer of 2016. While the location is great, the hotel is stuck in the 1970's and in sore need of a complete overhaul. At varying times of the day the internet either could not connect, stay connected, or it just crawled. A damp musty smell permeates the room and the headboard of the bed was bubbled from moisture. This may be due to the lack of a bathroom moisture exhaust fan. The room wallpaper was marked up, and carpet, curtains and decor were dated.... Read more

Newer hotel near a river and the front staff people are awesome! They went out of their war to help. The hotel is across from a Safeway which has a Starbucks in it, so they makes it even nicer. I checked this motel out several weeks ago after a long days driving. At first glance outside it was a regular Holiday Inn. The check in was rough, nice attendant, language barrier made it rough. After checking I started around to the rooms. The parking lot was full of trash and full trash cans propped the fire doors open all around the hotel. I commented to an employee who said some of the locks wre broken "anyway". I finally came to our entry and walked through to the hall. Shocker ...... Read more

Returned yesterday from our recent stay at the Holiday Inn in Frisco. We are still in shock from our experience. Here is our summary from our stay: Positives: There is only one. Location. Negatives: We booked a week long stay for a romantic get-a-way. This was explained to the hotel prior to our stay. We asked for a top-floor room TWICE prior to our arrival. Again, told this was not going to be a problem. We travel frequently and always use Holiday Inn properties. When we checked in, w... Read more

We had to switch rooms to start off with (was on the 6th floor initially) due to the air handler and bathroom venting system being equivalent to a 747 jet engine spooling up right next to you. The desk clerk agreed that the noise was terrible, and was great about getting us another room even though the hotel was supposedly sold out for the night. Also, the hotel's two elevators are at the back of the building, requiring a long walk and several zigs and zags to get to them. And, only one of... Read more

Hotel was clean -- standard Holiday Inn quality -- but not well managed. Basic maintenance is just not being done. We had two rooms, towel hooks on both bathroom doors missing, shower control loose, signs pointing to the lobby not attached/leaning on walls.
