The 2 bedroom unit was a great ski home for my family this Christmas. As a RCI member, I received the electronic "keys" to the apartment 3 weeks ahead of time. My friends who booked through Expedia had a tougher time getting their keys as Expedia did not inform them that there was no reception. Nonetheless, I was able to help them get their keys via the information sent to me. Once in, all 4 families, in 4 different units, had a great time chilling out. One more improvement is that a washer... Read more

I have been a "week owner" since 1993. I have seen the Pines routinely and consistently upgraded and maintained. In all that time, the ONLY reduction in service has been replacing the deck full of firewood with a few of the compressed wood chip logs. The kitchen is full sized and has been modernized as well as the furniture. It is like walking in to a two bedroom two bath apartment. You have full access to the Meadow Ridge Club, which has handball courts, ping-pong, a good sized workout are... Read more

I have read reviews that says this place is dated. A little, but a lot of wood and paneling (although updated) does not necessarily date a mountain condo to the 70s. It says mountain from the plank paneled walls to the stone fireplace. I decent size kitchen with breakfast bar and a comfortable eating area. Great for a weekend but if you plan on staying a little longer, the rooms do not have washer/dryer and depending on the size of your family that can be a problem. Hardest part is GPS has a pro... This condo is an older property but is well appointed and maintained. The only downside was that the hot tubs had broken jets and were not hot enough. There is an outdoor pool that is heated in winter. The location is superb in any season. There is downhill and cross country skiing, dog sledding, snowshoeing, sleigh rides and ice skating nearby. In summer, there is hiking and Rocky Mountain National Park is nearby.

Close to winter park for Nordic fun and alot of snowshoeing trails close by. The unit was clean. Kitchen well appointed. Comfortable living and sleeping quarters. Bathrooms well stocked. Negatives were housecleaning staff did not return a phonecall. (They may not work weekends). Office staff in town was not there when we arrived so the trouble with the units entry code was a problem. Via phone calls eventually fixed it. ( recommended is a notice in welcome letter NOT to try the code till after ... Read more

The units are older and well appointed. The are is well situated to visit Rocky Mountain National Park. It is also close to Grand Lake and Granby. The staff has been wonderful and helpful. We are enjoying the outdoor patio. The shag carpet takes you back to another time.

We had a great visit to the Winter Park area to do some hiking. The condo we stayed in was well supplied and had plenty of room. It was slightly dated, but is being updated. The Club, provided great workout equipment and has two large hot tubs and a heated pool. Great facility!
