We stayed at this establishment because it was convenient to the places we were going. This is probably the worst Townplace Suites we have ever stayed in. The hot water for the shower was not working properly and the first day our room was not cleaned by the time we left in the late afternoon. The mattress were very bad; we did not sleep well. The card reader did not work properly; it would work on the third try. The breakfast area was very small and the choices for most days were very limited ... Read more

Friendly staff- old hotel in need of much updating.Checked in for five days and left after one day.Picture on the computer looks good;the inside is dark, depressing and old.The staff did the best they could but the place has too much to fix.

Nice and relaxed atmosphere. Modern feel - check-in staff excellent. Ample parking. Room was clean and spacious and the bed comfortable. The only negative is the size of the breakfast room - it can only accommodate around 15-20 people and it was tight so people were standing around waiting for others to finish so they could sit down and eat.

great hotel south of Denver right off I-25. light rail was right across the parking lot. so u need to drive nowhere. went downtown to see a comedy show. theres all kinds of stuff to do downtown.......so ride the rail. plus its cheap. just south of the hotel a mile is shopping an resturants galore!!! u need to drive there. plus went to a concert at red rocks (which is a killer place to see a concert) an it was a easy drive there......Have a good time in Denver!!

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Everyone was friendly and the service was excellent. They offer breakfast everyday which is something that I look for in a hotel. Thanks to Townplace Suites Denver for a great weekend!

Pretty solid, average, extended stay hotel. Average amenities, average breakfast, average rooms. Very clean, and all of the staff were very nice. I was here because my apartment building had a fire. It was nice to stay somewhere that did not cause any more stress!

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had a great breakfast with plenty of choice. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. It's close to the freeway but not noisy. We would stay there again..

Nice big Suites wöoth everything you for a comortable stay. Very friendly helpful staff. The Gym is as well too. Very close to the Public Transportation to downtown, only a 5 Minutes walk. I would stay here again when I'm in Denver. It's a nice Place for less money.

The Townplace Suites was a great place to spend a week visiting our daughter in Aurora. The staff were very friendly and welcoming of guests with dogs. Very convenient location right next to the light rail. Breakfasts were good but the dining area could use a little more space.

this was my second stay here. Nice place. Very nice staff. In fact one of the nicest staffs I can remember at a hotel. Spacious clean rooms and a very good value for the money. The location is great for University of Denver events and for getting on and off I25.

Folks who run the place are all very nice. The room I was in could have used some new bedding but overall a nice place to stay as I spent most of my time at the hospital. Very conveniently located to a grocery store and on/off of I25. The hotel was also only 10 min from the hospital.

Was a decent room, however the elevator is tiny, housekeeping is minimal (only refresh your room) such as make bed, empty garbage, and refresh toiletries. I chose not to use their housekeeping only set garbage outside room. Luggage cart was broken. Hallways were narrow and musty smelling. Breakfast was terrible!! Better off using your kitchenette for breakfast or going out. I was terribly disappointed as I have always had great experiences with Marriott but this one is not up to par.

I consistently stay at Marriott properties for the reliability of the room. This room felt like a Best Western or Quality Inn. Needs a refresh. Sofa bed is springs barely covered in fabric, no padding. Plus side is the staff was very courteous and kind.

I am a Marriott Rewards member so I feel I must warn others not to stay here.Let me first say that the staff are friendly and the problems we faced were not their fault. I felt unsafe here as there were a group of middle eastern men sitting on the sidewalk every night eating/drinking to all hours of the night in total darkness. Try feeling comfortable with that when you check in at 11pm. The interior of the hallway smelled every day of someone's cooking with aromatic spices. The room had a bi... Read more

Great, helpful staff - assisted with an early check-in. Nice, clean room and conveniently located just south of downtown Denver. Quiet area. Room on the second floor was easy to get in and out of. Good stay!

The hotel was great and clean. The hall ways didn't smell nor did the room. The breakfast was good and the staff were really nice and helpful. I was just awaken by slamming doors and pounding at 4am. It's not the hotels fault. This was a another guest.

I travel quite a bit and stay at Marriotts 99% of the time and this Marriott has exceptional customer service! We were greeted and treated like family by every staff member we encountered during our 6 day stay!

When the same blue and red stains are on the bed and all over the pillow cases everyday (when you told the desk the first day you checked in) you kind of lose hope that you are a valued customer. The drunk man passed out hanging out of his truck door open with his shoes under the truck was also very disturbing for my 11 yr old to see i know they dont have control of what people do but makes you feel like that part of town was very unsafe for families.

We stayed in a suite here as a family of six while on vacation. Two people had to sleep on the pullout sofa which was okay. There were no extra pillows for the sofa bed and the bed linens had hairballs in them. The suite we stayed in needed some maintenance in the bath area but the worst was the earwigs in the towels. We expected a little more for the price but the suite worked fine for a night.

I cannot say enough good about the hospitality of the hotel staff; they were pleasant, cordial, and accommodating making our arrangements as simple as possible. I especially want to thank Mark and Scott for their ability to foresee room reservation conflicts and make adjustments accordingly. We didn't have a care in the world with regard to our room arrangements. Thank you!

The property looks worn and carpets could use a cleaning. Lots of families w kids staying which has to be difficult for a property to maintain a clean environment. Some paint and repairs would help a great deal. It just looks like the building is well not cared for.

If you are looking for extended living stay at this hotel. If you want to stay at a hotel keep looking. The staff were friendly & very accommodating, the rooms were clean and the price was great for what you got. I was extremely pleased that 2-3 mornings the breakfast included a vegetarian option. However, I noticed most of the guest used this hotel as an extended living facility, which I was not expecting.

The hotel rooms are clean, the staff is fantastic and will go the extra mile, the exterior is a little worn out, and the suites are a little bit cramped but not bad. The maid service would wash my dishes for me which they are not obligated to do, and I do not get at the Marriott I am at now, so it was a nice service to have!

I was pleasantly surprised by TownePlace Suites. Normally, when traveling for business, hotels aren't remarkable, but this one was for one reason: the staff. Everyone working there was service oriented, going out of their way to ask if I was comfortable and if I needed anything. Even at check-out, I was surprised at how pleasant front-desk staff were. I'd go out of my way to stay here again. The room was comfortable as well; it was clean and the bed was comfy. But the service was most remark... Read more

First time to Denver with my family. Had a great stay at TownePlace Suites. Our original room was not available because of a sprung pipe so in stead we got two adjoining rooms (which gave us two kitchenettes...). Nice clean hotel with ample of parking space. Spacious, nicely furnished rooms. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the breakfast in the morning. Staff is knowledgable and friendly. This hotel is a no-brainer..

My wife and I stayed here as we passed through Denver on a road trip. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Although we did not utilize it, there is a rail station located a few yards from the hotel. Additionally, the grocery store and restaurants are within walking distance. This hotel is conveniently located and offers the usual amenities in TownePlace. My wife was not thrilled with the mattress quality but I slept like a log. I would stay here again next time in Denver.

We had a very poor experience with this property during our stay. 1. Noticeable odor upon entry into our room.and reported to the front desk. Housekeeping used a spray to mitigate. First impression 2. Wall mirror became unhinged and crashed against the edge of the sink in our bathroom and shattered on the floor and in the sink on our first night. This woke us up at 130am. The night manager cleaned up the mess and told us this has happened before. I suggested they check all bathroom wall mirr... Read more

After checking in we headed to our room. First floor of building 2, not too far from the elevator but far enough we didn't hear it. We found it strange there was a central AC controller on the wall but it didn't work. There was a window unit in one room, right in the window, which prohibited you from closing the curtains without covering the AC. The second bedroom had a floor unit with a sign on it about leaving the fan on. It was nice temperature in the unit when we came in, but after leaving f... Read more

Not an experience you expect at a Marriott. When I drove in a bunch of people were drinking and partying around a picnic table in semi darkness at around 10:30 pm.. Then the room which they gave us in building 'B', the toilet backed up. I called the reception desk. She said she would take care of it . Someone will come to my room to fix up. We could not use the bathroom. I stayed up waiting and family went to sleep. When no one showed up I called the reception at around 12 pm., The shift had cha... Read more

I booked this hotel for a long weekend visit to see my brother. I wanted a suite with full kitchen for convenience. We arrived late in the evening for check in or I probably wouldn't have stayed one night there. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice, but it went downhill from there. To enter to our room, you have to use your key. We were very impressed with the exceptional service we received while staying at TownePlace Suites Denver Southeast. Every staff member was on board to make sure our visit was comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen was well-supplied with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, potholders, dish towels, etc. A recipe for Sloppy Joes was even included! The bed and pillows contributed to a great nights' sleep.

I'm torn as to how many stars to give this hotel. I really feel it's more 3 1/2 and I will explain my reasoning. First, the size of our room was wonderful having two bedrooms, a kitchen and living room. It had a nice breakfast with waffles, sausage, fried eggs, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal and more. The staff was excellent and very attentive; we appreciated their hard work and sunny disposition! However the negatives concerning this property is the overall cleanliness (or lack there of) and the n... Read more

The staff and managers were exceptional and made us feel welcome and comfortable. They were extremely courteous, helpful, understanding and supportive. I was disappointed that all the 2 bedroom facilities were taken and are totally held by certain customers. There was large population of foreigners that are in groups (small but always together) that make worry for my family. I feel uncomfortable. especially when alone.
