Service was excellent! I was wheeling a cart full of luggage into the hotel and an employee dropped what he was doing and ran up to the door to open it for me. Place could be nicer with renovation--carpet in room looked really stained, rust on doorway in BR, etc--although it seemed clean. Cold H2O faucet didn't work upon our arrival, but they sent a worker to repair it right away. Good location for us--close to all our wedding events at Botanic Gardens. This hotel is very welcoming with great staff. Most of all the Gentleman that assisted me I believe he was the Manager/Supervisor if I'm not mistaken his name is Ruben. Incredibly nice and helpful and was very helpful in advice on what to do in the city. He made our stay feel like we were with friends. The room was in good condition. Breakfast was great (We ate in The Restaurant within the Property). The Black Gentleman at the bar was very nice and went above and beyond with the service. we didn... Read more

I enjoyed my stay. However, the neighborhood is a little rough but since I was going across the street to the Ogden it was a perfect location. I also don't understand the hotels hostility toward recreational marijuana. People are coming to Colorado for a lot of reasons legal reefer being one. Get with it. I thought to hotel should include continental breakfast as part of the deal. Most places do these days.

Noise The hotel is located on Colfax Ave next to numerous marijuana places which attract the corresponding people. The sweet smell could be sensed everywhere and that did not exclude the hotel. We spent a week there on business and did not get one single night of good sleep. There were parties going on in the otherwise nice little garden afound the pool with lots of drunk and stoned people. The noise was incredible until usually 4:00 am. Every night we complained about it at the front desk - not... Read more

Check in was very slow, the hotel was clearly not staffed appropriately. We stayed there because of the free shuttle service. The shuttle service was so inconvenient and difficult to use that we never ended up using it, and had to pay for cabs instead. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But the furniture was sparse and scuffed up. The bathroom was tiny, not even room to turn around. The shower was terrible, there was no pressure and the water termperature constantly changed fr... It does need some updating but there are signs staying they will be undergoing a renovation soon. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. The restaurant had delicious food and apart nice staff. Free parking, free WiFi, and a shuttle anywhere in 3 mile radius. We had a great stay and would stay here again.

Our room was a single king bed. It wasn't bad. One of our friends had a 2 double bed and the room was dated with holes in the sheets. Another friend had to switch rooms after they have her a room with an actual key. The new room was dated too. Even though its a no smoking hotel the hallways reeked of pot. The breakfast buffet was out of food but the stuff they did have wasn't bad. The service was horrible.

This is a nice hotel for a great price. A good bang for your buck! By no means is it fancy. It does need some updates but it looks like the hotel was starting some while we were there. The beds were comfy and the staff was extremely helpful! One night we asked about breakfast the next morning (not included in price) and the nice man gave us two free breakfast vouchers. We stayed in the end of June and it was very hot outside and the air conditioning did not work very well. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable though so that helped a lot. This Ramada was uniquely located near downtown, but with several small shops that connected into the first floor of the hotel. We had a room directly across from the shops and were delighted that there was no extra noise at all from the unusual arrangement. The free downtown shuttle added a lot of value to our stay. The carpet smelled bad and was kind of sticky feeling, the paint was old, warped, and scuffed, the bathroom tile and plumbing was pretty sketchy. There is a nice sized coffee pot and minifridge. ... The staff at the Ramada was very pleasant, helpful. The room had a comfortable bed and all rooms are non smoking. Room had a mini fridge and a microwave which I did not use. They provided daily breakfast which was included in the room rate. Ramada provided a shuttle to Coors field and back which was very nice. The shuttle would take you anywhere within 3 or 4 miles of the Ramada which includes Union Station which is where you pick up the A line to the airport. The hotel is within 200 yards of... Read more

First, this hotel is in a really fun area. I enjoyed walking around and exploring as time allowed (I was there on business). Also, the staff is fantastic -- friendly, helpful, and accommodating. However, there are clearly floors that were once smoking floors. The first room I was assigned to smelled absolutely horrible. I did, however, head back downstairs and ask for a new room. They were happy to reassign me. There is ample signage that indicates the hotel is nonsmoking and that there are st... Read more

When I saw this hotel online, it gives a different profile . When we checked in the employees were very friendly, however, we did get the nonsmoking room but when we stepped out of elevator the whole hallway smelled like Marijuana, perhaps the other rooms were smoking. The beds were dirty, we can tell maids do not change bed sheets as they had black long hairs everywhere, the pillows smelled like someone had slept on them, not the clean smell of fresh sheets or pillow cases. I got a room here online based off the reasonable prices and the high rating through Kayak. The reality is, it is in a seedy part of Denver, surrounded by bars and liquor stores. Patrons and bar hoppers openly smoke pot in front of the hotel with zero enforcement by management. My room faced an all night outside Karioki bar. I asked to be moved but was told I was out of luck..no other rooms available. If I had known the area better I would have paid another 150 bucks and stayed uptown. The only ... Read more

Starting with the positive which is why I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, the room was awful. The main outlet where the coffee pot was did not work. The carpeting was dirty and simply gross. We got a handicap accessible room, not by request, and shower/toilet area was separated by a torn shower curtain. The shower was a removable wand, that could not be utilized successfully when it was attached to the wall. There was no toilet pa... Read more

Check-in was quick and easy and the staff are helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and keep clean, the hotel does have a pool, but wasn't in use the time I was there. There's plenty of bars, restaurants and fast food places, within walking distance of the Hotel. The hotel is about 1 and a half miles from 16th st mall and 3 miles from The Mile high stadium.

So the hotel itself was a little run down and sat in a bit of a urban location but that said it was clean, and quiet, had a lounge and restaurant , great location (check out the fancy places price), super staff, and awesome free shuttle service running to a variety of locations (including Union Station for getting to the airport) from (I believe) 7 am until 10 pm on the hour. Would I rather stay in a $ 300 a night room? Sure. Who wouldn't . All things being equal, very satisfied

If you're looking for a hotel in the heart of Denver with plenty of entertainment within walking distance, then this is the place for you. Within a few blocks you've got The Fillmore and The Ogden Theater, restaurants, bars, liquor stores (I recommend Argonaut), and a pot store (which you can not smoke in your room, of course). It's just an average 3 star type of hotel but they were beginning a renovation when I stayed there, so that should bump it up into a much nicer 3 star hotel. I'll defi... Read more

I will start with saying that I looked at the reviews for this hotel before I arrived. I knew it had a mixed review history and that it was in a spot that was supposed to be a little rough. While this is one of the least expensive hotels in the Denver Downtown area, it is not quite worth all of the troubles to me. Let me list the pros first: cheap, decent shuttle service, close proximity to night life/food/downtown, and comfy lobby area. However, the cons outweigh: a very limited free breakfast (have to pay for anything hot), a front desk girl that normally says she doesn't know how to do that, and outdated and unclean rooms.
