We spent one night at the Marriott this past weekend. The hotel has a great location in the center of Cherry Creek's shopping district. The staff was friendly and the rooms immaculate. We also love the Marriott beds. A special thanks to Siobhan for her thoughtful birthday treat! Looking forward to our next stay!

This is a great property, centrally located in Cherry Creek. If you work in the asset management industry, you know it as the hotel attached to Janus. As a result, it's always packed and never cheap. Rumors are swirling that a Ritz Carlton will be arriving in Cherry Creek. Which makes sense as it's the sister hotel to JW.

We stayed here two nights and were very pleased with our experience. All the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. We did not have a car but this hotel was within walking distance of many restaurants and shops.

Very nice hotel with good rooms. the restaurant in the lobby area is very good. Location is nice and convenient to many restaurants and running trails. As far as I can tell, it is valet parking only so factor that in to your budget. Service was very good. I thought the staff was generally very good. Drew McConnell and the staff at the JW Marriott were outstanding. The front desk staff was extremely helpful/friendly, the cleaning service crew was excellent and the valet drivers were welcoming and courteous. The hotel is clean and the hotel restaurant's food and service were very good. There are also many restaurants and shopping close. Overall, we had a great experience and I would recommend this hotel for business or personal travel.

I'm not a fan of the Marriott chain, and this one does have many of the "features" that make Marriott so annoying --windows that don't open, not enough elevators, and most frustrating of all, the dearth of decent lighting in their guest rooms. But the location is wonderful! Loads of great restaurants and galleries nearby, and the most helpful staff you could ever ask for. Yes, I'd stay here again. But next time I'll pack a bigger flashlight.

Stayed at the JW for one night for a meeting at the hotel the next day. The service was great when I walked into the hotel. Located very close to all the stores as well. Our meeting was held with in the hotel and our food for breakfast and lunch were way above what I would expect for our meeting. They even brought us donuts with bacon inside (never seen that before). My wife and I spent our anniversary here, and, I have to say, absolutely loved the service of the front-desk staff. Only giving them 1 point for the bed was comfortable, then we have Keys not working, dated coffee machines, mini bars rather making horrible noises and not working, ripped curtains, smelly aged arm chairs, not toiletries in the restroom, not trash bins, hair dryer not working, laundry doesn't return complete to you (be careful) I can go on and on. It was ok. Starting with making our room reservation MONTHS ago, for a a junior suite. They called the week before we left and said that was an error that there was not one available??? We were bumped DOWN to a regular room. We were hot every single night. I never located a sign to place on the bed for clean sheets-so they weren't. Stayed at this property on our way out to the mountains. Stayed here because we needed a dog friendly hotel. Would return because of the cleanliness and service. Very family friendly. Hotel is in great area for dog/child walking. Highly recommended.

I arrived at noon and checked in on the mobile app for an 11:30 arrival. They said, no problem, it will only be a few minutes and we will call you when the room is ready. I've stayed here several times. Typically it's a decent stay but this time they were totally unprepared for guests...... We arrived with children late and were all ready for bed. We even gave them notice of our late arrival. Very long wait to check in with a team member who was slow and clearly had better places to be. Bel hop busy chatting it up outside so we had to grab our own bags off the cart. Frustrating and disappointing.

Tonight 7/23/16 I am staying here and A/C is set on one setting; very hot called front desk they brought me a fan because technician had gone home. We are a family of 4 on vacation yet getting poor quality service at what is suppose to be a high rating resort. I'm a Platinum member and stay at a wide variety of Marriott hotels, with the JW b brand among my favorites. This property was just not up to snuff. My upgraded room was not ready at 4:00 p.m. waiting only for a quick inspection by a housekeeping supervisor, which the front desk asked be done quickly. I have to give this place an A++. We stayed 5 nights from Northwest Indiana, a long way from home. We felt very comfortable. The staff called us by name from day 1 and bent over backwards to make us happy. Our room was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The location was great for a base to get anywhere. The hotel is in a decent area of town. Its a good place to stay, but it certainly isn't the best. We enjoyed our stay, but probably won't return. Nice views and an ok club, but nothing great. The staff is accommodating and helpful.

The hotel and its staff are exceptional. The hotel is located in the beautiful Cherry Creek area. All of the staff are so accomodating and go out of their way to help the guests. In particular, the Concierge, George Maresh is really a great resource. We always stay at this hotel in Denver because the ammenities are top notch, the location is great, and the staff is superb.

I stayed at this hotel for several nights for business. The room is okay but the carpet feels dirty. I purposely left tiny pieces of paper to see if housekeeping will clean it up but after four days the bits and pieces of paper are still there. The area is nice and close to a lot of nice restaurants and shops and also conveniently located near the mall.

What does property has going for them is their location in Cherry Creek. I have had better front office service from a courtyard or Fairfield by Marriott. I've stayed in previous JW Marriott and there is quite a difference in service level. I could go on and on about my experience at this property I would say the rooms are clean it's a nice property and I don't think it should be using the JW flag this is a Marriott at its best. Great location. Loved the concierge lounge for espresso and fruit for breakfast. Room was quiet even though hotel was quite busy. Spacious, modern bathroom with nicely scented bath products. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

A beautiful and comfortably appointed hotel. The room was complete with couches, comfortable bed, desk, mini bar, complimentary internet and a large and comfortable tub. The staff is attentive and very helpful. Thanks to a few spot on recommendations from Ken Trumbull, we had a wonderful time in and out of the hotel. This was our second visit to JW Marriott in Cherry Creek. Our first visit (a couple of years ago) was outstanding so we chose this property again over the new Halcyon hotel around the corner. Was there for 5 days on business as the office we were doing our training was around the corner. Very centrally located to everything. Great staff JoJo was at desk often very pleasant very helpful . The JW is an excellent option if you're staying in the Cherry Creek area. The location is wonderful and lots of restaurants/shopping are within an easy walk-able area. It's what you expect from Marriott and you won't be disappointed. They're very accommodating, the rooms are very comfortable, great beds, and great views (at least ours was) of the Rockies in the background. Highly recommend the JW Marriott next time you're visiting Denver.

Opportunity to visit Denver for a weekend. Stay at the JW for the third time. Normally, being a platinum Marriott staff makes you feel special. Arrived at hotel at 2 in the afternoon. Was not greeted by any valet or bell staff. Went to front desk to check in. Room wasn't available and no real answer or effort when one will become available. The staff was very friendly and helpful beginning with Ken and Kevin at the front desk, to the gentlemen at the bag check area, to the housekeeping staff. Our room was spacious and very clean. As I have stated in past reviews, the JW Marriott in Cherry Creek is my favorite in Denver. Not over the top but just right. The rooms are top notch though they do show some minor aging. I love love love the mountain view rooms. The concierge lounge is on point and overall the staff is top notch. No hotel is perfect but this property is close. A very comfortable and relaxing stay. Very nice room, pretty quiet. Amenities right on the premises or you could walk to a dozen places to eat, even more to shop. Everyone was very courteous, kind, and always trying to be helpful. We booked a number of rooms for our son's wedding at the JW Cherry Creek. The service was very good especially allowing most of our guests to check in early. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms very large. The lounge was perfect for get togethers with our guests and the food at the Second Home Kitchen restaurant in the JW was delicious. I was consulting in Denver and the company put me in this hotel for three nights. Everything met my expectations, so that always starts my reviews at average. Starbucks in the lobby is a plus for me. I recently returned from a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott in Cherry Creek/Denver, CO. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful and kept impeccably clean. The staff was excellent from the doorman "Mo" to the front desk. I also had a chance to try out their adjoining spa, Antoine du Chez for a manicure. The owners even came out to welcome me and see that I was taken care of. Extremely, impressed.

We spent 3 nights here in October. Rooms are large and super clean. We are gold member so had breakfast and cocktails on the concierge floor also. Food was great. Staff was super friendly! Then...you can't beat the location. Would love to stay here again and again and again!

The hotel is very good. It is located in an excellent part of Denver. The neighborhood is great for walking and shopping. There are also excellent near by restaurants. I would recommend this location for families and for business.

We stayed at the JW Marriott Cherry Creek in Denver the first weekend in September. It is located right by the Cherry Creek Mall. Many restaurants are close by. It has a nice bar and our room was clean and comfortable.

Welcoming, helpful, nice rooms and great restaurant are some of the attributes of this JW Marriott. It is convieniently located to fabulous shopping and Cherry Creek Mall as well. The restaurants in Cherry Creek North are fabulous. Everything is in walking distance. You won't be sorry you stayed in this location.

this is the second stay at this hotel and the perfect stopover before heading West into the Rockies. The hotel staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about things to do in the area, but best of all, you can leave the car in the garage. Not even a half block from the hotel entrance, there are many, many really good choices for a meal.

This is a wonderful hotel option in this part of Denver. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The staff are very nice and the area is beautiful. It's a bit more expensive than some other hotels in the area but I think it's worth it.

Besides the excellent location, there's a good view from rooms, a good restaurant, and a wonderful staff to take care of your every need. Lovely rooms and baths, and excellent room service pizza! I have stayed at this hotel every year for three years and I remember the names of several staff members because they're so friendly and they work so hard.

Room was clean, front desk staff was courteous and the van driver was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The breakfast buffet was very good. Especially liked the warm cinnamon rolls. Close to the airport and ASU.

First of all, the service here is outstanding! From the valet, to the concierge to the receptionist. When I told the receptionist, Julie, that I had literally just officially moved to Denver she welcomed me with warmth and asked what type of wine I drank. I have back problems so I have to have a Friday with a freezer so can cool pack for next day of travel. In September, I made reservations for a Marriott in Denver. I had 2 request: 1) a room with a separate door between my bedroom and rest of the suite and 2) a frig. that has a FREEZER. We show up, take the long trek to the room and no door. We've stayed at this hotel numerous times since it opened. The hotel is nice, but its time for a refresh, furniture and carpeting are beginning to look worn and dated and furniture in the room is looking beat up. Two complaints though - we were on the 3rd floor in a room that faced two large stores (Container store and Sur La Table). Rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The location is great--within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. The only critique I had is they need to tone down the scented air freshener in the common areas and elevators. It was really strong and overpowering. The adjacent spa is fine, but not as nice as you'd expect to be associated with a JW.

Very disappointed with the concierge lounge. I made the mistake of expecting consistency within the JW brand. I had a wonderful experience at the JW in Chicago. Superb charcuterie tray on arrival, and a very, very nice concierge lounge with very good wines and beer, very good prepared appetizers, and very good breakfasts. Comfortable room, convenient for National Jewish Health. Nice walkable area with good restaurants. Reliable and friendly hotel driver available for morning and afternoon rides. Restaurant staff very accommodating as I needed to work in the evenings while my family member slept. They kindly set me up away from other patrons, so I could have a table for working and not bother the other diners. I'd definitely stay here again.

Five night stay was great. Easy walking distance to National Jewish Health, Botanical Gardens, and the museum of Nature and Science. Plenty of great restaurants and shops surrounding the hotel as well as the Cherry Creek Mall.

clean and spacious rooms although the bathroom had mold on the ceiling. We requested a fridge in the room in advance but it had not been noted when we checked in, so we mentioned again up on arrival. Not a bad hotel and great location. You are across the street from the premium mall and plenty of places to get good to great food. The positives: location, quick check in and friendly staff throughout the hotel from the doormen (always more than one) to front desk to maid service. Every time I arrive at this extraordinary location, it comes again to my mind that I have to pay the price of the issues that this hotel has: I don't think that this Marriott doesn't deserve the JW any more Why???? THE room was good.Good sleep to be had.the food was of excellence.furthermore the lobby was not so great because from time to time there was people yelling and the hallway noise on my floor was sometimes a problem.

Beautiful hotel, rooms are large with everything you need. Although overpriced the lobby dose have some snack foods and tv dinners. It is very close to the mall and about 20-30 mins from the airport depending on traffic. The only downside was checking in, the staff didn't seem to want to do it as if it was too much work. I waited over 20 mins to be checked in, there was no one in the lobby no line. Just waiting.

I stayed here on a recent business trip- I had originally intended to stay downtown (I was in town for a conference), but picked this property instead due to limited availability. Cherry Creek a fairly easy ~10 minute drive into the city, and the property is very nice. Rooms are large and well appointed, and there are lots of restaurants in the area to choose from if you don't stay on site. Anyone who has ever stayed at a JW knows how impeccable they are. One of the finest hotels with excellent rooms and staff. I will not go on because it is not necessary. Denver and JW, enough said. Stay and enjoy.
