On a recent business trip to Denver I stayed at this Holiday Inn location. As a regular business user of Holiday Inn I am usually pleased with the standard of accommodation but in this instance I was disappointed with the room quality. Rooms were old in their decor and needed some updating especially the bathrooms and was also supplied with a towel with holes. On the positive side the quality of the breakfast at an extra cost, was of a decent standard although service was quite slow.

Convient location just off I-70 and a 15 minute drive to downtown. I arrived late at night and the staff was chipper and friendly. My room was clean and updated. I LOVED the fresh fruit water in the lobby. Only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is that the balcony door didn't seemed sealed as I could hear the noise of Quebec St. However, it wasn't noise enough to keep me up.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. I noticed a difference this time that disappointed me. The staff usually is competent and fun. This time, they were competent. Little things like the newspaper delivered to the door didn't happen. Nor did my bill at the end of my stay. This got me looking at other things. Like the tiny bathroom with no room for toiletries. Like the stains on the only chair in the room. I had a French Onion Soup the first night that I couldn't eat. It had no o... Read more

Wanted to thank Jessica T. and Yasmine G for great customer service at the Front Desk. I came to Denver with just my 2 children ages 4 and 7. I didn't want to lug car seats around, so I picked this Hotel because they have a free shuttle to and from the airport AND they have shuttle that takes you within 3 miles of the hotel. So we called the front desk and let them know we needed a ride to the zoo and we called them when we needed to be picked up!!! SO CONVENIENT!!! Did the same for the Natu... Read more

When we first arrived, Shawna made sure we got the special hospital rate without us even asking. She was very friendly and asked if there was anything she could do to make our stay more comfortable. I said that we just wanted to make sure there was enough coffee in our room. By the time we got to our room, there was already a package with extra coffee in our room! A very nice surprise! My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights while we were in the area for his college graduation. I picked it because it was roughly five miles from the city center without having to pay for the price of a hotel in the middle of downtown. I wish I had done my research first... Five miles from city center doesn't sound terrible, but it actually took 20-40 minutes to get into downtown because of traffic. The hotel was beautiful on the inside when we entered the lobby. Location is great. Lots of food and entertainment nearby. Hotel itself is a bit dated - looks like they updated the lobby but not the rooms however, it is very clean. Staff is very friendly. We had issues with our key card entry and they were ver apologetic every time (they JUST got a new system so they are still figuring it all out). Also, they have a nice parking garage free to hotel guests. A few complaints: - The room temperatures are impossible to keep constant. You sent the air to 70 degr... Read more

The hotel has an updated lobby with courteous and helpful staff. The rooms seem slightly outdated but are clean and quiet. They are not large rooms but do offer a balcony. Would be a good hotel if just passing through Denver. Our room was booked through hotel tonight. I called twice to ensure the room would have two queen beds once the booking was made. Front desk + restaurant staff were fantastic, fast, and friendly. I was given a drink coupon for my room not being ready on time. Not sure how to describe this stay. Room was musty smelling. I asked the housekeeper for some air freshener. Found out it has New Management. I didn't have trouble with my reservation, but the others I was with did. Some didn't get into their rooms until 9 or 10 pm. The biggest compliant was the wifi. The wifi would go in and out all day. It was later at night so we got checked in quickly and up to our room. We thought about going to the restaurant as we were all hungry, but had to deal with lost luggage. My daughter and I walked down the block to Sonic and brought back burgers for everyone. Had a corner room, so it was pretty quiet. We all got a decent night sleep. This is a... Read more

I've never stayed at a Holiday Inn that had 10 stories. If flying into DEN, it's a bit of a drive to this property, 20-30 minutes, so unless you have business by the old Stapleton airport, there are probably closer options. The rooms were a bit dated, I'm writing this a week after my stay and nothing in the room stands out as particularly amazing - or notably bad. It was nice having a restaurant in the lobby. The dinner was convenient - not especially noteworthy, as was the expensive breakfast... Read more

It is my pleasure to let you know about my stay at the Holiday Inn Stapleton East. We are returning customers and I rate the whole experience a perfect 10. When we began planning our trip we considered many options. The airport and local shuttle bus was the deciding factor that led us to select the Holiday Inn Stapleton. Our experience began at the Denver Airport where the hotel shuttle picked up my husband and I. The driver was friendly and helpful. He loaded our luggage and provided a s... Read more

Really great staff and service. Had a small issue and the maintenance staff member, Josh, helped us right away and with great attention. Clean rooms and clean hotel overall. Good parking as well as being close to amenities.

It is our 11th anniversary, and Keyairah and Kim made it very special. We appreciate and thank these two ladies highly. We were given chocolate covered strawberries and wine to celebrate. We highly recommend the hotel, room with a beautiful mountain view, and employees hospitality. Thank you very much for the memorable experience. We will be back.

This was my first time visiting Denver. I had a great time! Part of this was attributed to the outstanding service of the Holiday Inn East Stapleton??s staff. From the moment I arrived, I experienced nothing but friendly, prompt, and professional service. While there were issues with the room, the staff went above and beyond to fix the problem. Thank you Elizabeth, Jessica and the rest of the Front Desk staff! Also, the hotel provided shuttle service to the airport, the local shopping area, a... Read more

The hotel was very large and the ambiance was pretty nice. The toilet in our room was broken and we had to keep making sure it wasn't running. The balcony is a nice touch. They charge your card upfront for room service and any other expenses that may come up. They refund your card the amount but that can take 10 business days after you check out. Just a heads up for anyone who has every penny of their money planned out for their vacation like I did and that put a damper on it.

The front desk was very helpful. The beds and pillows are awesome but the bathroom doesn't have a vanity . We had to move towels of the shelf to make room. It's hard when there's two of you and you have a straight iron and no where to set it while it heats up except in the sink. Restaurants on site are ok. Spurs is overpriced and breakfast wasn't bad.

This hotel was great. Our room was comfortable and clean. Check-in was quick and we were accommodated in our requests for a higher floor and further from the elevator. It appears as though every room has a balcony but from what we saw from ours, our neighbors & below us, there is absolutely no seating provided. We pulled the one office chair that was in our room out onto the balcony to be able to sit and enjoy it. The location that this hotel was in was convenient and close to shopping and the h... I've stayed here over this last year for about 16 - 20 nights and probably enjoyed their breakfast buffet the most of all amenities they have. No more buffet....menu only now. I've lived with the terrible parking, pedestal sinks with no place to easily place/store my toiletries, and the questionable safety of the surrounding area. But with the loss of their breakfast buffet, they lost me, too. The hotel is beautiful inside and the rooms are comfortable. However, I am currently attempting get onl... Read more

I am on the road quite often and the only think I need is a good night's sleep. I stayed in room 328 and several times AN HOUR at night the train and its obnoxious horn woke me up. The train runs right behind the hotel and it sounds its horn, I guess, at every intersection. It starts low (far away) and it gets louder as it gets closer. I wish that they would tell me about it or move me to the other side. I am not sure if the other side of the hotel would have been any better but still.

This place has some of the smallest hotel rooms I've stayed in. The hotel is very nice but noticeably aged. Service is always great but I've had maintenance issues with the room on two occasions. They were always quick to fix the problems though.

My dad made the reservations in Denver at this Holiday Inn and my initial thought was where ever you want to stay daddy (daddy even though I'm 58!) then he said let's eat at the hotel so we can get to bed early for an early start to our road trip, and the initial thought then was OK just to make it easy though I wasn't expecting much. How wrong can someone be? In this case very wrong. We had dinner in the Spur Bar and had a wonderful meal hamburger and steak cooked exactly the way we like it and... Read more

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful and really go out of their way to make you feel at home. We were in a room with one queen bed and the rooms are not very big and the furnishings not in the greatest shape. The bathroom is small with the pedestal sinks so there really isn't much room. There is a small fridge and microwave. We ate in the restaurant one night which was fine. It was pretty busy with only one waiter who was extremely busy. It would be nice if they included bre... My first night here I had an issue with my ac/heater unit. After my business meeting I stopped by the front desk and told them about the issue. Was informed they would send somebody up to my room. Within 20 minutes I had a knock on the door. Josh Allen the Lead Mechanic showed up and came in and checked out the unit asked me what the problem was and his professional opinion was to switch out the unit. I thought that it would be a lot of work and he assured me that it would be best and wouldn't t... Read more
