This was our second visit to the Denver Hampton within 6 months. Property is conveniently located to free bus service, staff is friendly and accommodating and, overall, an excellent experience, which we expect after many years of staying at Hampton Inn properties.

Great location. Close to 16th St. Mall, State Capitol, and revitalized Colfax Street. Clean rooms, comfy beds, free breakfast, and a friendly helpful staff make this mid-range hotel an excellent value. New train line from the airport to Downtown's Union Station and free Mall buses make travel a breeze. Tourists should consider this hotel.

I stayed here with a couple friends when visiting Denver for pleasure. Everything about the hotel was high quality. The room, including the bathroom, was large and had excellent features. Service was great. The continental breakfast has many options, all of which were very good. The location is also excellent, right downtown.

Well located just off the central core with an easy walk to the free bus routes. I was able to easily find my way here from the airport (took the new train to town). I didn't have a ton of luggage so there is that to consider. Property is in excellent condition, housekeeping refreshed the room daily. Staff was friendly and helpful. The one downside I would mention is the loudness of the airconditioner kicking on, this was enough to disturb me in the night. Combined with some restlessness due t... Read more

This is hands-down one of the best Hampton properties I've experienced. Everything felt new and updated (I'm not sure when it was built). My room was quite large and spacious. It was in a corner of the building that lent itself to an unusually large layout. It was super comfortable! Everyone I encountered on staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet had items I've not seen at any other Hampton before. (Breakfast burritos? Yes please!) I was expecting a little more for my $300 per night in a suite, but certainly wasn't expecting paper plates and plastic forks at breakfast - is this symptomatic of the disposable culture of America? I think so.

I waas here for a conference. Great value, and easy walk from the convention center and from the 16th St. Mall. This is a new property. Everything seemed crisp, clean, and fresh. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast, which is good. Guest room is clean. The staff is polite and patient. Room is roomy and comfortable, but the hotel does not provide toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers, and they did not tell you before your arrival. You don't want to walk on the rug barefoot to get foot fungus, and your choice is to continue wearing your high heel shoes or your sport shoes after a day of traveling or working

The hotel is perfectly located with just a short walk to major attractions, 16th Street Mall, Denver Zoo, the Art District, Coors Field and the Capitol building. This property is about what is expected from a Hampton Inn. The room was ok, breakfast was ok, valet parking was $30 and the front desk staff got our car so they don't really have a valet. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to get to the 16th street mall free shuttle. Ask about that and get a map at the hotel because it saves you a lot of walking. I had read a lot of reviews that said that the hotels near 26th didn't feel safe at night so I opted for this and I think it was good. After parkin... Read more

This property is fairly generic but sited badly. I was assigned a dark and dingy first floor room with a small window that gazed upon a parking lot about 10 feet away from below grade. To boot, the room was immediately next to the breakfast room. I had requested a quiet room on booking. Of course, when staff arrived to set up the breakfast at 5:30 am, there was all manner of noise and banging on the wall. So much for my hopes of sleeping late. This hotel costs way too much for the service and the amenities that you receive. The bed was way too hard and uncomfortable. The cooling system seemed quite outdated, and left the room either very hot or very cold. We had a 1st floor room, and at 6:30am, there was so much noise outside (jackhammering). At 7am, it was nearly impossible to get hot water. There was no parking (not even valet). The staff at the front desk seemed deflated; no energy, no smiles, nothing. The only thing good ab... In the heart of downtown, convenient, pretty new, good staff and a good choice for Denver. There is no self parking but parking seems to at a premium anyway. I parked and used Uber and the fare was never more than 10 dollars to go anywhere downtown. I stay at Hampton Inns often when I travel and this one gives you just what you expect. The Hilton Honors corporate staff told me that they do make exceptions for medical emergencies, and "I don't see any reason why we can't do something for you." But since the room was pre-paid I would need to get in contact with the hotel directly. I called the hotel directly multiple times. Each time I was forwar... Read more

We spent two nights over Labor Day Weekend and had a very enjoyable stay. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to the Capitol Building, Union Station, many restaurants and the Coors Field. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the hotel overall. A delicious complementary breakfast was served each morning, with a good selection of offerings. Nice indoor swimming pool and a well-equiped exercise room is available. There were several parking options. Because it was a holiday ... Read more

I loved this hotel! I had a bad experience at the Hampton Inn in Traverse City, but this one more than made up for it. It was in a nice location in downtown Denver. It was clean and quiet and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. You couldn't ask for nicer people! Breakfast was really good and they kept it very well stocked. There was a microwave and fridge in the room which was great because the one in Traverse City didn't have either. I also loved that they had a little store where... Read more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. It was a great location, usually 1 mile or less from all our travel destinations. The staff was wonderful and the valet parking was really great as well. The bed was a bit firm for me, but I would certainly stay here again.

I'd never been to Denver and looked for a place reasonably priced and walking distance to Coors Field. This Hampton fit the bill, but turned out to be much more. The neighborhood is blah - nothing to see here. But just down Sherman is the state capital, or turn right on 16th to the 16th Street Mall, a mile long strip of restaurants and shops. A free bus goes from one end of the Mall to the other. Coors Field is a mile walk, or grab that free bus and get off at Union Station for a 10 minute stro... Read more

The front desk staff at this hotel is outstanding - very friendly, very helpful, very customer service oriented. That having been said, there are better hotel choices in this area. This hotel is old and dated. My room was dark - very dark - with only one window at the far end of what was a long, narrow space. The hotel is not well located at all. It is on a street that is somewhat isolated. And, it is a bit of a hike to the restaurants and shops on the 16th Street Mall. Breakfast is included wi... Read more

Stay 3 nights at this Hampton. This is a nice neighborhood that is rebuilding its reputation. Nice & quiet area, unfortunately the property brings nothing special. No parking lot, unless you valet 30 per day. The room is nice & clean but the AC is very noisy. The mattress was a bit tired and made note of this to the great staff at checkin area. Not really worth $200+ per night more like 169.00, very standard buffet breakfast at most Hamptons. Got to say easy to navigate Denver from here, easy 4 ... Read more

Good location. Valet parking with unlimited in-out. We used public transit which was a short walk away. This is a Hampton Inn. You know what you are getting although rooms are always a bit better than we remember. Free breakfast meets expectations. We have stayed here before and will again.

Reasonably priced. Very clean. Courteous and efficient staff. Great location that's within walking distance or a short uber ride from tons of restaurants and breweries as well as the convention center.

Well managed, clean and comfortable hotel with the usual Hampton Inn amenities. Not much view as the hotel sits among several parking lots, but within easy walking distance of the Denver Art Museum, the state capitol, 16th Street mall, and - highly recommended for any meals - Sam's #3 Diner.

Stay was very nice. Desk staff very knowledgeable. Little out of "downtown" but still very walkable. Room was good size and clean but housekeeping was lacking. Stayed in Hilton Downtown one night and found the Hampton much nicer and more helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had to stay in the downtown Denver area so that I could attend a business meeting. As we love the Hampton Inn brand, we chose this hotel conveniently located within walking distance to my meeting. Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Room was extraordinary. I have food allergies so I had a question about one of the breakfast items. The front desk clerk took the time to retrieve the package so that I could view the ingredients. That's Customer Service!

Hampton Inns are nice budget friendly choices...but it was a real bonus to enjoy the helpful and friendly staff at this hotel. Wish there was self-parking, but they were very efficient with the valet service.

Friendly staff, clean and reliable. What I especially like about the facility is it's location, easy in-out and its relatively small. The breakfast offering was plentiful, clean and well kept. The only negative is that it does not have a fitness center.

Great hotel where the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and we even received an upgrade without asking for it. Amenities were good and easy to get to. Breakfast was better than others I have had. 24 hour Beverages, fresh fruit and the late night cookies were a great touch.

I had a recent conference in Denver and chose to stay here because of reviews, price, and location. I was able to select my room with Hilton's digital check-in, and I was amazed when I checked in. The room was a spacious suite on the top floor. It was quite, I had plenty of space to relax and work, and the mini bar area was an added plus. The hotel has a great location. It's on the edge of the touristy/convention area of downtown, but it's a very short walk to the free16th Street Mall trolley a... Read more

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Denver for a couple of days in October, to be within a few blocks of a downtown conference. The staff was very helpful and check-in and check out were very fast. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed comfortable. Not much of a view from 3rd floor at parking lot, but was quiet. Breakfast buffet was great, and cost was within government budget. I would definitely stay here again.
