Families visiting Denver won't know where to begin. The Zoo, the Children`s Museum and the Botanic Gardens offer hours of entertainment. Or pop by the United States Mint for a free tour.

I was only in Denver for one night, but I had a great stay here. It's a bit of a walk if you take the commuter rail from the airport to Union Station and try catching the Mallride bus. The day I was there, it was raining and I had no umbrella. When I arrived to the hotel, I was soaking wet, but the hotel room was comfortable and I was able to dry everything out before going out in the evening. The restaurant was good and the free reception and breakfast were nice. Beware though, if you go to a c... Read more

Wait staffers Francisco Bravo & Chris Carrigan were so pleasant in asking folks how they are doing/if they are enjoying their meal & hotel stay, and so helpful in picking up tables to ensure a clean breakfast eating area! Nice to see people like these two guys be kind & take pride in their work! Thank you!

I needed a hotel that my kids could swim in an indoor pool, have a separate sleeping area for naps (so dad and I could read/chat) and centrally located in Denver. Embassy Suites hit all those points, which is not easy to find in Downtown Denver. The lobby is lovely, breakfast is very good/well-organized and there is a nightly complimentary happy hour. Staff was great and the location is literally two blocks off the 16th street mall. The pool was very warm, an unusual bit of awesomeness for a... Read more

Really great location and fairly nice hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, we reserved a premium room but premium service wasn't available at check-in. We were upgraded to a larger premium suite but no Keurig was in the room and was not available. We were told they were only in the premium rooms on 1 floor and not the floor we were on. King bed did not have a blanket - just a sheet and a comforter. Everyone knows not to use the comforter!

Absolutely loved this hotel! We've stayed at nearly every Hilton property in LoDo and this one is the best so far. Getting to the hotel was easy and the valet was extremely helpful and courteous (it's crazy to have to pay $40 to park for one night, but what'cha gonna do?). The front desk staff was polite and professional. The whole hotel was clean and fresh. Our room was amazing, with great city view. The manager's reception was superb. The fact that there is a restaurant on the ground fl... Read more

Less than a 3 mins walk distance - 16th St is just 2 blocks away, less than a 5 mins walk distance - Free happy hour everyday at 5pm, refreshments are served - Suite room is really nice, love it's Victorian style renovation very much, a sense of homey feeling - microwave available in room - check in and out are quick, staff are friendly Cons: The waste of unconsumed food in breakfast buf... We've stayed at a few hotels downtown and have always left disappointed, not only in the accommodations but in the price. This was our second stay at in Embassy Suites hotel, and we found it to be the best hotel in downtown Denver! To start, the valet was reasonably priced at $40 per day. The look and feel of the lobby was awesome, as well as the service at the reception counter. We went to Denver for a quick family vacation, largely to see a play. We stayed at the Embassy suites because of the comfortable rooms - the Managers Reception and the free cooked to order breakfast. This hotel atrium was especially pretty and the staff were cordial. We highly recommend Embassy Suites for family trips.

Terrible treatment at the front desk. No water - no "thanks for being a Diamond Member". Dirty bathrooms - hair in bathrooms. No vacuuming - shaggy towels. Managers Reception - cheap wine, yucky display of food. Not gluten free friendly.

I stayed here during the ISTE conference. The location is perfect, just beside the convention center. While the building entrance is not exactly inviting, the rooms are suites, big two room set-up. Bed is comfy, rooms are clean. Disappointing aspects are the disorganised check-in which provided contradictory information which disrupted my trip and the breakfast is pretty tame - oily bacon and crowded lines.

The hotel is very pleasant in a great location. We really liked the room and enjoyed the free drinks at 5pm. However, my review and memory of this stay is completely dominated by having to pay $40 to park. That's outrageous for an Embassy Suites.

The hotel itself is good, the breakfast in the morning is outstanding and the drinks in the afternoon are an added bonus. Along with a few other posters, I would concur, the rooms are in serious need of an overhaul. The lobby areas are well taken care of, but the rooms have been beaten up. That being said, they are still good, just not "great" that I would expect when paying the amount of money that Embassy Suites charges. Also, the parking is $40 a day make sure to consider that when booking th... Read more

Hotel common areas are nice. Breakfast and cocktail are wonderful. Rooms are a bit worn but very clean and comfortable. Noise travels up from the center of the hotel but it's not a problem in the bedroom. Business center needs major update. If you have a show at the convention center it's the perfect location. I would stay there again for sure.

This hotel is very conveniently located near the Colorado Convention Center, just a short walk to 15th street with shops and food, and a quick 20 min walk to the Rockies Stadium. I visited during a large convention and you would not have known that you were in a sold out hotel, everyone acted as though you were the only ones there and catered to your needs. I'm a Hilton person, and stay at many of their properties around the country. This Embassy is just okay. The location is great. When you walk in, it's nice and the staff is definitely friendly. Looking for a great hotel in downtown Denver near the Convention Center? Embassy Suites Downtown Denver is your spot. I stay at a lot of Hilton properties and this one is one of the best in terms of personalized attention to guest needs. From the front desk staff to the room service servers, everyone had a smile and was super helpful. That is what really makes a difference in a hotel I think - that the people care about you as a guest. I would definitely stay at this Embassy Suites again!

Here are some negatives we encountered: *At breakfast a man with a small band-aid on his nose cut in line to get potatoes while a long line of us were waiting for the buffet items. When I spoke to him about it, he was very rude and refused to admit he had done anything wrong. Imagine my surprise when I saw him later at the elevator with a maintenance cart - he works for the Embassy Suites as a maintenance person! *Happy hour and breakfast noise was really, really loud and could be heard in our r... Stayed at this hotel because of a conference. Location to the conference was great. Short walk across the street. Because of this, the hotel ramped up the price. Over $350 per night. Not worth the price. Amenities lacking. Breakfast crowded. Evening reception even worse with a lack of food.

When I frequently travel on business, I prefer booking stays at Embassy Suites. My experience is usually top-notch. However, my stay this past week at the Embassy Suites in Denver Convention Center was well below my expectations. First, the positives are the location. We stayed here due to the location and it was NOT a miss. Price was a little high, but it's Denver! Great room. Breakfast was O.K. They tend to serve the same thing daily. But the staff was genuine. I chose this hotel for it's location for my date night with my wife. Seriously it's pretty much smack dab in the middle of all the action in Denver. The hotel is close to everything, I'm serious. Walking distance to Coors Field and Pepsi Arena, short drive or cab to Sports Authority Field, also it's basically across the street from the Convention Center. I liked the free benefits: morning newspapers (in the lobby), the big fresh custom-made omelettes for breakfast and the happy hour drinks.  Normally they charge for wifi, but our group deal had it included.  I wished the elevators weren't so wonky (announced it was going down, but in fact was going up; lights that did not work on some floors - so you never knew if it was supposed to be going up or down).  I also wished there was a way to turn on the light in the room upon opening the door (on... Check in is not till 4pm, so if you arrive early.....good luck with them helping you find a room sooner. We finally got a room on the "premium" floor, so this must be where the bedroom door "kick'ins" occur! We had a splinted, kicked in bedroom door. Due to our check in experience, we decided to not deal with it until check out. Upon check out, there was no comment made, other then they would note the damage on their computer. Pretty crappy stay for a long time planned romantic weekend.....

For over $200 a night we have been continually disappointed. We (4 couples) arrived to an unorganized, slow, and attitude-filled greeting. When asking for a luggage cart or bellman we received an eye roll from one employee and after asking twice found another who made it happen. The front desk was as well under-staffed and seemed stressed for our routine check-in process. 2 of the 4 elevators were down. I have come to expect excellence and Embassy Suites Denver Downtown delivered as promised. I loved the new ability to open room and open elevator using my iPhone app too. The breakfast was very good. The managers reception was very nicely done.

Excellent accommodations found at this Embassy Suites, with included excellent breakfast and inviting evening reception with free snacks and drinks. Comfortable room, which was extremely large, good wifi, and great sleeping. Nothing to fault here. Its a bit on the pricey side, but nothing unusual for downtown Denver. Centrally located. Walk able from the train at Union station that can bring you to the DIA airport for $9 each way.

Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to give great customer service. Food was very good as well and enjoyed the nightly Manager's Cocktail time and snacks. It was a great way to spend time with other attendees that were there for the same business event.

We attended an event at the Colorado Convention Center and Embassy Suites is right across the street which made it the perfect hotel. We did the digital check-in which seemed like a great idea, but it turned out that I still had to go to the front desk to check in so it didn't save us any time or make it more convenient. We arrived around 3:00 and our room wasn't ready, but then we saw multiple people that were checking in at the same time or after us and they were promptly given their room k... Read more

Daily buffet breakfast was included which offered a large variety of items to choose from. Very helpful registration staff. Minor hiccups. Our room got missed on the list to be cleaned. Had to request add. towels and wash cloths through front desk.. Apple juice machine was nothing but water but brought to the attention of buffe... Read more

Overall, we've been impressed with this hotel in the past and love the location but it is starting to feel a bit worn and valet parking is really expensive. The breakfast is a great benefit but given the size of the hotel, there should have been more than one lonely guy making omelets.

This was by far my best Embassy Suites experience ever. The hotel is modern and well appointed in all regards. My king suite was large, clean and very comfortable, with NO noise from any adjoining rooms (even when a grooms party was next door getting ready for a wedding). The 4th floor lobby was beautiful with plenty of public spaces for socializing or relaxing. The staff throughout was absolutely welcoming and eager to please. Breakfast service was way above average for an Embassy Suites, wi... Read more

Very nice Embassy Suites. My room had a second sink, microwave and mini-fridge. Plenty of room to spread out. Well run, included in room rate, breakfast. Good location 1.5 blocks off of downtown pedestrian mall and near light rail station and free circulator bus. My only complaint, slow, seemingly inadequate elevator capacity. Use the commuter rail line train in from the airport. It's $9.00 and runs every 15 minutes for most of the day.

Comfortable stay of 4 days largely due to attentiveness of staff in all departments. The suite - type room is spacious with 2 TVs, a bed room, and a couch that one can nap on. The complimentary breakfast they provide in the dining room has many choices and is well staffed.

This is the first hotel in 10 years and nearly 1000 nights that you cannot access the inputs on the TV. I am aware of all the tricks but I actually had engineering come up and a customer paying over $250 a night cannot choose another input for computer or dvd player. What's even worse is the tv in the living area can but the one in the bedroom will not. This is 100% unacceptable period! This is why I usually stay at Marriott hotels.

Stayed here while at the American Dental Association meetings recently in Denver. Super close to the Convention centre, literally across the street. Reasonably priced. A really good breakfast, made to order omelettes was included the price and a nightly cocktail party (which we didn't make) but I thought was good value.

I couldn't have been happier with the location of this hotel. We were in Denver for the ADA convention. Just a quick walk across the street and a Starbucks downstairs was a plus! The only disappointment was upon entering our king room, I noticed the sofa was stained and I would not expect that from an Embassy Suites Hotel. It was nothing gross, however I feel it could have easily been cleaned before having guests stay in the room. The omelet at the breakfast buffet was fabulous and Alex was... Read more

We just had a two night stay here, and found it disappointing in a number of ways. When we made our reservation, the hotel assured us that we could get adjoining rooms, since we were four adults traveling with two small children. They did not provide this, and denied that the note was made for our preference. Our room was not vacuumed during our visit, and sorely needed to be. One of the four elevators malfunctioned, and would not deliver us to our floor several times. We chatted with a cou... Read more

Conference for my work profession was held here and it was an absolute pleasant stay. The conference meetings lunch and drink service were very good. Factor in complimentary Happy hour + breakfast with your stay, and the price isn't so bad. The room was very nice, clean and modern. Within walking distance you have a large Walgreens and 16th street - which is where you will find dining and shopping. So you won't really need a vehicle if you stay here.

We've been to Embassy Suites hotels before, but I have to say, this place had the friendliest staff. From the parking attendants, who were always smiling and offering directions and sightseeing suggestions, to the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff, the folks were truly outstanding. We'd call downstairs for things (towels, non-functional coffee maker and blow drier) and they'd be brought up almost immediately. This hotel, though, needs a little updating. Spent six days here at a meeting. This is a seemingly new building that is well constructed and includes the usual large Embassy Suites rooms. The first three floors are parking and meeting facilities, the fourth floor reception and restaurant. This keeps the rooms well above street level, but even so, the windows are well insulated for sound. Many restaurants and things to see nearby. A few small issues. Logging into the wi-fi produces a security risk notification which indicates that the hotel... Read more

I loved having a frig and a microwave for restaurant leftovers. My room faced west and had a nice view. We have made this a family and friend's tradition and look forward to future events. The hotel offers a terrific breakfast and the exercise facility is better than most. It is easily accessible (albeit expensive parking in the area) and within nominal walking distance of the 16th Street mall. We didn't get a chance to participate in the happy hour this year but have in prior years and found it enjoyable.
