I'm frequently in Denver for business and the Aloft is my go-to hotel. While it's not on the 16th street mall like a number of other hotels, it's still quite accessible via a short walk to dining options. The hotel itself has new, comfortable accommodations. if you are accustomed to aloft hotels in other cities, the rooms feel exactly the same. Guests of more traditional hotels will be a bit challenged by the concept. One note is that the Aloft does tend to be loud, I think on the side towards ... Read more

This property is an excellent location for anyone attending an event at the Denver Convention Center - less than 2 blocks walking. The property was clean and fresh overall. The rooms are a bit small (ie no seating chair besides the desk and limited bathroom counter space) however for a single traveler on a short trip that was fine. Outstanding service from the Front Desk team. A special recognition for Ben Fischer, the Food & Beverage Supervisor. Ben was working a bar shift the night I was ther... Read more

The Aloft Denver Downtown is much like other locations of this hotel chain. Consistently they offer a clean comfortable space well equipped for a traveler. The room was clean, well maintained and comfortable. The only real criticism I had was the sketchy wifi internet access. My connection was difficult to establish and then kept freezing. This property is less than two blocks from the convention center and easily accessible to all that downtown Denver offers.

This Hotel is probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The construction itself is not right and the building literally shakes when the trains or big trucks pass by! The windows are not properly glazed either so you feel as though you were sleeping on the street! My room was top 6th floor corner room which made everything even worse!!! Crossroads and double jeopardy!!! I asked for an extra blanket for 2 days in a raw, nothing... No service... Just one ore two receptionists changing ... Read more

Spent 2 nights here in March. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms and building were modern and clean. I didn't have any food or drinks at the breakfast bar or the restaurant bar, but it seemed to be very popular. Would definitely stay here or at another Aloft in the future.

If you want an affordable, well designed hotel in Denver give the Aloft a try. This hotel is located near EVERYTHING in downtown Denver. It is a short walk to most restaurants, bars, and attractions from the Aloft. The rooms are swanky and modern--probably not the best for families because of the openness of the design. But, it is a really good value none-the-less.

Met son at hotel, chosen due to location for wedding venue and was very affordable and clean and basic room. There are no movie channels to pay for, but had Showtime on TV list so plenty to watch if wanted to watch TV, but since usually the plan is to be out of your room, this was no problem. Comfortable bed, well designed room and nice lounge at main level. Good fitness room and small pool on lower level, no view but if wanting to workout able to do that. I have stayed at many Aloft hotels and typically love them as there is consistency across the brand. The reason I was dissatisfied with this stay was the noise in the room. The windows did not do an adequate job blocking out the city sounds, making for a restless nights sleep. This is not a problem I have encountered at any other Aloft hotel.

This hotel was quiet and calm, considering its central location. It was a easy walk to the convention center and the busy 16th Street shopping and dining mall. While ALoft has the nice outside look, I found that they lacked the finishing touches that complete any stay. The beds were SO SO at best (Beds to hard and pillows didn't complement ) the pool is in the basement, but there is no hot tub. So you would think that the pool would be warm, but it was awkwardly cool. The bar was nice, but then you get a weird breakfast area. Sorry I wanted to like it, but a few things made ALOFT fall short. Ow and $36 bucks to valet your car of premises.

I enjoy the feel of the Aloft hotel in downtown Chicago, so opted to try this one. Rooms are identical...so great if you like a strong A/C, comfortable beds and a modern decor....you won't be disappointed. The lobby and lobby bar area were perhaps designed for a low-budget 20-something crowd and simply unimpressive and not a place you are going to want to sit and unwind...or have beak fast even. My stay at the Aloft was bad from beginning to end. I was the lead of a group of people, and booked 10 rooms for the group. After waiting an hour in line for check-in, we discovered that there were three different rates for the group (even though one person had booked them all), and the rates varied between ~$220 and ~$375 - that is a big difference. Stayed for 2 nights on business. This is not located in a great area - you don't feel very safe walking to and from your hotel at different hours. The customer service was excellent and the location was close to dining/shopping/conference sites/etc. The rooms and amenities were comfortable -- I also liked that you can purchase food/snacks at any time. It's smokefree, which I loved, but they used an artificial air freshener that was pretty strong. The main downside is that you can hear the trains, bus, people, etc. from your room so bring ear plugs! I'm a heavy sleeper and I still woke up every morning at around 6. I would have been upset, ... Great property, no regrets staying here. We never had to use a car or public transportation, just walked everywhere. Many art shops and bars and nightlife and restaurants nearby. I would stay here again.

I booked this hotel last-minute, so not only was it really spendy, but it wasn't my first choice. I usually like Starwood hotels, so I was surprised to find the rooms to be very small and the lobby kinda cramped. The location is right across from a bus stop which meant lots of panhandlers.

The room was nice, clean, quality finishes, good layout. The staff was friendly and helpful. However the noise in the room was unacceptable. starting at about 5am the street noise was overwhelming. both nights of my stay there was a police siren that woke me up. I understand that this is a downtown hotel but I have stated at others in Denver without this issue. You know it is a problem when they provide earplugs in the room. The price for this hotel was also not a good value, and on top of that... Read more

Last minute layover in Denver meant finding a good night sleep and close to business district. Welcoming staff in the middle of the night and a comfortable clean room. Everything was well designed for a modern feel

Hey folks so here's the rundown. It's super duper clean and modern per usual with this chain. Fireplace, indoor pool, pool table and conference rooms all available to you. WXYZ bar has some apps and great beers in tap. I had a blood orange IPA... Yummo! The bartender is beyond cool and approachable. Another member of the staff that stood out above the rest was Erin at the front desk. She is super helpful, patient and knowledgeable and she made sure my SPG info was squared away. We stayed on the... Read more

I stay here often for business trips to Denver. A solid, reliable choice. Always nice prices vs. other SPG hotels without having to hike a mile to your room (at the Sheraton). Note that there is only valet, no other parking options. The staff has always been friendly and helpful to me!

We stay during the week, I love the simplicity of Aloft and the lobby area is very open and inviting. The customer service was excellent at this location! Beware, parking is an extra cost, it is expensive everywhere in downtown Denver

The walls are decorated with wonderfully creative murals. The rooms are modern and simple. The staff are young and hip. The location is unbeatable for downtown Denver. Hot shower. A few negatives: very thin walls - we could hear conversations in both adjacent rooms very clearly. There is no hot tub, though the front desk clerk told us there was. Finally - like some hotels in most large cities, parking was not part of the deal and was an extra 30-ish dollars for the night.

For the money you cant go wrong here! Extremely helpful staff, clean rooms, perfect location. No complaints, just be aware parking here is very expensive but Valet staff is very good and hustled hard. Breakfast wasn't very good but it might have just been a bad day.

I spent the night here on a connecting flight to South Dakota. The staff was accommodating and quick. Room was not that big but clean. Check out was easy as well. If you are coming from the airport don't get this hotel confused with the other Aloft which is closer.

I stayed in this hotel at the beginning of November. I left my new Jeep with their valet for 3 days and when it was returned to me it had $3000 worth of damage. I left there in ease with every manager telling me it would be taken care of so I shouldn't be worried. One month later, they refuse to pay for the damages to my car and only argue with me when I call them. The general manager is the worst person I have ever dealt with.
