These luxury condominiums are located a short walk to the West Wall Lift so you can spend more time on the snow and less time on pavement. The Black Bear Lodge are brand new luxury condominiums located just a short walk from the slopes. Enjoy custom log and tile work throughout, providing a unique feel to each unit. The Black Bear Lodge is loaded with amenities, including full gourmet kitchen, gas fireplace, balcony, DVD/VCR player, and outdoor hot tub on site, secure covered parking, and a comfortable lobby with a convenient ski locker room. As its name implies, the architecture of Black Bear Lodge is designed to capture the feel of a rustic mountain hideaway, with liberal use of stone, and heavy timber and log accents. Built in 2001, Black Bear Lodge's luxury condominiums are located only 100 yards from the Peachtree Lift.

    Directions from Denver:
    From Denver International Airport, take interstate 70 west, exit to highway 470 west, highway 285 south to Fairplay then Poncha Springs, highway 50 west to Gunnison, then highway 135 north into Crested Butte.

    Directions from Colorado Springs:
    Take highway 24 west to highway 285, highway 285 south to Poncha Springs, highway 50 west to Gunnison, then highway 135 north into Crested Butte.

    Directions from Montrose:
    Take highway 50 east to Gunnison, then highway 135 north into Crested Butte.

    Check-In Location:
    Start out going WEST on Rio Grande Ave. toward E. Frontage Rd. -Rio Grande Ave. becomes Airport Rd. / CR-39A. Turn right onto US-50. Travel EAST one mile and turn left onto N. Main St./CO-135. Continue to follow CO-135 NORTH for 27.4 miles. CO-135 becomes 6th St. in Crested Butte. 6th St. becomes Gothic Rd./CR-317. Travel 2.2 miles. Turn right onto Snowmass Rd. and the Plaza, located at 11 Snowmass Rd., is immediately on the right. The check-in process takes place there.
