We stayed at Quality Inn south at the end of March. We didn't even look for any other hotel to stay at because we had stayed here 2 other times and we so enjoyed our stays. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. It is pet friendly and every thing was very clean. The beds were the most comfortable ever! Kudos to the all the staff! We will definitely go back when we are in town again!

We were there for just one night. The room was clean, bed comfortable, everything we needed was there. The highlight was the breakfast: cheese omelet, sausage, bacon, waffle, and fruit. While I took care of the business matter that brought us to Colorado Springs, my wife enjoyed a relaxing morning in our room. So, for us things were fine. While we had no issues I did become aware that another guest was accidentally given the wrong room. Then the guest who was supposed to be assigned that room... Read more

We were pleased with the clean room, comfortable bed, and good breakfast. Front desk clerk was pleasant and the room was spacious enough. We were in town visiting family and it was conveniently located for our purposes.

Stayed here three nights for a wedding, great location right off the interstate. Good view of Cheyenne mountain right from room. Location is convenient for sightseeing, easy drive to downtown, Garden if the Gods, and even close to hwy 115 to take south to the Royal Gorge. The room was large and clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze, free breakfast was better than typical hotel free breakfast, changed up a little bit each morning to keep it fresh and new. The hotel is close to a shopping ... Read more

We stayed for one night and it was a good value for the money. upon arrival, we were a little doubtful given the area and chain link fence surrounding the grounds. However, the receptionist was welcoming and the hotel clean.

I was here more than two weeks working in the area. Employees were all courteous, pleasant and eager to please. I found my room to be perfect for my purpose. A desk, a coffee table and a couch allowed me plenty of room to spread my work out. Adequate lighting and sufficient power outlets were much appreciated. The corner configuration of the bathroom is uniquely functional. A triple vanity mirror and a full length mirror on the door allows plenty of self scrutiny. Vanity lighting is brig... Read more

When we arrived, the front desk receptionist left a lot to be desired and she is the first person we met and her disinterested attitude set the tone. The next day we met Jennifer at the front desk and she was completely opposite, helped us plan our day and made our reservations for our next stay for us since the wifi was. Not working well. Breakfast was just ok but it helped us start our days. I think the whole hotel could use some updates.

Average hotel with decent rooms. Beds were comfortable and rooms were nice and clean-- AC worked very well. Front desk staff were very nice and welcoming. Breakfast not the greatest your average hotel breakfast. Would recommend staying here.

This busy hotel provided a great base for Pikes Peak and other tourist attractions within the region. The staff were helpful and friendly and car parking was ideal. Within less than five minutes walking distance there was a choice of 5 eating establishments. The hotel was also motorcycle friendly we noticed, which is good. However, we would have liked to have been able to relax in an alcohol-serving bar.

The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. A/C worked well. We had requested a room with a short walking distance from lobby or elevator. (due to health issues) We were placed in a convenient location. Breakfast was good. Nicely located near highway, business district, and restaurants. It was a good choice of a place to stay on our way to our reunion.

We stayed 3 days to tour around Colorado Springs. Check in was easy & Jennifer was very helpful! Our room was clean (the door handle stuck a little but if we wiggled it just right it worked ok), the beds were "ok" (slightly uncomfortable for us, but we know everyone has their own taste in bed style), breakfast was good & attendants were always nice & keeping things well stocked! We loved that they had a laundry option -- and if you forget your laundry soap (me) you can buy some for only $1 fr... Read more

My room was clean and bed was comfortable. Plenty of pillows were available but blanket was far too thick and heavy. I was hot with it and cold without it. The remote transferred a black substance onto my hands. That was really gross. I told the front desk person and she just looked at me. She didn't pretend to care. When the television is first turned on a Directv guide comes up that only says "scheduled programming" for each channel. I asked if there was something wrong with it and the same ... Read more

Walking into my room, I felt a little nervous. The decor transported me back to the basic mid-budget hotel rooms of 1989: popcorn ceilings, gold coverlet on the bed, dated wall sconce lights on the wall. The rooms don't have a nice view, the locale is nestled among a fast food restaurant, quick-mart and radiator repair shop. After two nights here, I can happily say that my apprehension was alleviated with my room's cleanliness, quiet and comfort. Every employee I met from check-in, through r... Read more

Convenient to interstate and located near restaurants and shopping. Room was clean, had coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom had spots of mold above the shower. Check-in was fine, we needed to stay an extra day so they told us since we booked the room online, we needed to also book the extra room online. Free breakfast was a nice extra with eggs, waffles, sausage, biscuits coffee, juice. Seemed to be busy with lots of travelers so staff were not particularly personable. Not ... Read more

After reading all of the reviews, we were excited to stay at this nice looking Quality Inn. I will begin my review with this caveat - we booked a cheaper room with the condition that the "hotel picked our room." We arrived late in the evening and were given a king room with a fold-out sofa for ourselves and our 13 year old son. My husband asked if we could get a Queen room. This is where the problem began. The attitude, and lack of customer SERVICE, given was short of professional. There a... Read more

Arrived late - around 9 p.m. - and took a room here during peak travel season in July. Though it seemed like all Colorado Springs motel rooms were quite expensive, our room was clean and comfortable, if somewhat cozy. Standard amenities with two queen beds, and we were able to get a good night's rest after a long day traveling. Breakfast was decent, perhaps a bit better than average with some hot foods. I didn't hear any complaints from my family. Parking was readily available, so all in all, a ... Read more

$192 should get you a luxury room. Embassy Suites was 159 for a 2 room suite. Don't be fooled by there cover photo on the ad. Beautiful stone work on an old building, badly need a bulldozer and a rebuild. I booked this hotel online, based on the photos, for my 26th anniversary and I may soon be divorced. Peeling wall paper, stained carpet ,squeaky bed, smell of Febreeze, are a few of the "amenities". View of a heavy equipment storage yard next door, tiny TV, and a child's handy work on the popco... It was not a bad hotel. The room was clean and nice. The pool the kids loved and had a good time. There was plenty of place near the hotel to eat, shop and a movie theater very close. The only thing I have to say negative is the doors to the room need to be fixed so they close properly. Also I would not be out waking round or try to walk to places to eat due to traffic and the amount of people out on the corners asking for money. Other then those issues the stay was pleasant.

We stayed during the peak of travel season, so we paid a little more than we would have liked, but the price was very competitive with comparable hotels in the area. Our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The catered breakfast was delicious, and the pool and hot tub were very nice and well-tended. Workout room was a little small but serviceable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall we were very happy with our stay. I'm sure we will stay there again when we're in town.

We stayed here 1 night. Beds were not comfortable and the lobby area looks nice but rooms need some attention. Tub wall peeling, wall paper peeling etc., the price was high for quality of room. But competitive compared to other similar hotels. Breakfast was the usual. Very crowded this morning. Close to a couple of chain restaurants and Target.

It seems that hotels in Colorado Springs are a little pricey. The rate we got for this hotel, although more than we usually pay, provided a good value for the area. The property was clean and in good repair. The evening desk clerk was especially friendly and helpful. Room had microwave, refrig, flatscreen. Free breakfast included. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
