This is a broken down dump that is no better than a motel. This should be rated as a 1 star hotel at best. A Super 8 or Motel 6 would have been a major upgrade. The entire hotel wreaked of smoke including marijuana. People were smoking in the stair wells and in every doorway and the staff knew all about it. The hotel room doors are old and all look like rough plywood painted flat white. The door locks were all broken or damaged. All of the strike plates were missing screws or not attache... Read more

This is our second trip to this hotel for a 3 night stay in 8 months. The staff and personnel are very helpful and courteous. This hotel is clean and well maintained. It is in a good location and is 10-15min from many attractions and Old Colorado City resturants and shops. Breakfast is great with scrambled eggs and either sausage or bacon, waffles and pancakes plus the usual fare of muffins, yogurt, cereal etc. Definitely will stay here again.

This is not the first time I have stayed here and although this is a low cost stay it has some good points with some friendly staff. But I ended up with a rash or bites. Went to Emergency care and they told me it was bed bug bites. Ended up getting steroid injection. I found a bug beside my bed the first week i was there but didn't realize what it was until now. I booked one bedroom suite, it was decent. Two rooms put together separated by a door..the door was very heavy and slammed closed, very dangerous for small dog or child. Two bathrooms, no disabled suites available. You could enter into the room by either door in either room. Breakfast was good. Reggie had great customer service. Older property but still decent. Flat screens in each room. I would stay again but not for more than 100 a night, anything more go stay at the residence Inn for same pr... Read more

I totally fell in love with this area and this hotel is in the perfect location to get to the garden of the gods, pikes peak and shops in manitu springs. The two dudes at the desk who checked me in knew where I could find everything! The only reason I would not give this hotel the full 5 star rating is because I had a stain on the bathroom counter and the toilet and it was not cleaned during my 4 day stay.

The positives: It was a great location to all the places we were going to visit, they upgraded us up to a suite with two bathrooms, excellent views, and the Choice Privilege Points were less than most other locations in Colorado Springs. The negatives: It was disgusting! As soon as we entered the room, I turned the A/C on. The curtains were open and the sunshine was shining in. You could see a cloud of dust coming from the unit. I pulled the filters from both rooms and they were caked with dust... Read more

Our lock stopped working the second day we were there and maintenance tried fixing it. After about an hour the manager came down and tried and then said he would be right back. He called me on the room phone and said he would upgrade our room to a suite because of the inconvenience. It was very kind of them to do! The rooms were clean, all the staff were friendly, the breakfast was great, and the location was perfect. We will definitely stay there again when we come back.

Stayed here because it was close to the Garden of the Gods...wish we hadn't. The room was okay but the bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast was depressing and it was a pain to try and get into the parking lot. For the price it was what you'd expect from a place like this though.

After I checked in the hotel after a long morning i forgot one of my bags out in the hallway that had everything I needed in it, later I woke up to discover it wasn't in the room so when I went to the desk they had already secured it for me. Everything was on par here as far as what you expect from the rooms (had a actual suite also regular room)and the exceeded the requirements by far for their breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

When I stay in a hotel, the first thing I do is check to make sure the sheets have been changed. It isn't hard to do. Without ever touching or sitting on the bed, turn back the covers. Clean sheets will have lines from being folded and will be smooth. If they do not have the lines and there are wrinkles in a round area where someone sleeps then it is obvious that the sheets were not changed. We asked the front desk to bring us clean sheets and they quickly brought them up. Other than that everyt... Read more

The Quality Inn Garden of the Gods is an older, but decently-preserved hotel. The lobby and breakfast area are in a separate building from the 4-story hotel itself. The lobby is nice, with a working fire place. My family & I stayed here for a few nights in 2 rooms at the Choice Employee rate. I don't know if this is this particular property's management's call, or if the Choice Hotel organization makes this determination, but if you truly appreciate your employees, I would suggest not settin... I can't say enough good things about this property and how our group was handled by Andrea C. She made certain that we were well taken care of! Early checkin-???. Early breakfast-???. Rooms located as requested-???. Location was exactly as we needed. It couldn't have been any better and I would stay with them again any time I'm in the area!

This was a personal trip and it was great for us! When I first arrived at the hotel I thought I had booked a suite however I discovered that I really had booked an "executive" room. Note executive is just a regular room. I went to the front desk and asked for an upgrade and got one. The suite was amazing! 2 separate rooms joined by an inner door. 2 separate bathrooms. the best part was we were on the first floor and so our patio led right out to the pool area. I would highly recommend a first fl... Read more

Great staff: housekeeping, maintenance, front desk. In the midst of visiting a friend in the hospital over an extended stay, everyone was great. Quiet, accurate climate control. View of mountains from second-floor windows. Thanks to all

Staff is friendly. The facility is in poor shape. The caulking around the tub/shower is poorly done and moldy. The shower faucet is dripping. The drain stop is not functioning. The table I am typing this on is about to fall over. I can feel the springs in the bed. The furniture is warn. It is just run down and poorly taken care of. No fridge or microwave.

We selected this hotel because of its convenient location and was no-smoking and no pets. It turned out to be a comfortable place for a much needed rest. The breakfast was better than that of most hotels, having lots of variety. The furnishings in our room were updated, and our only complaint was that it had neither a refrigerator nor a microwave. It did have a beautiful view of the sunrise and the nearby mountain range. We would definitely stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised that this hotel was very near the lovely Garden of the Gods park, which we drove through late in a day. The hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. Our room was clean, comfortable and in good repair. The beds were excellent, with high-quality bedding. The breakfast was tasty and complimentary. And we were a short drive to a restaurant we wanted to try, the Marigold Cafe.

The hotel is very dated. The exterior and hallways are in need of paint. Security locks on exterior door did not always work. There is nothing more frustrating than having to walk all the way back to the front desk to rekey your card. Kind of a shady area.

Quite a large hotel over four floors just a minute from the Interstate and a few minutes from Garden of the Gods. Nicely equipped and comfortable rooms with friendly service, and outdoor pool (for summer - covered and closed when we stayed) and a decent hot breakfast. The breakfast room was a little crowded on our visit due to a sports team, but they still coped.

The registration area is separate from the rooms. Leave your luggage in the car because you have to drive to the rooms. The rooms are a long distance from the registration and breakfast area. The room we had as okay. The curtain was broken as was the faucet on the sink - it was hard to know if you were getting hot or cold. The white towels were dingy looking. Breakfast - fresh fruit was only oranges, No cranberry juice. There was boiled eggs and scrambled eggs and bacon. There were waffles, yog... Read more

When we lived in Colorado we lived close to here so when we came back to visit and stayed here it was like being close to where we were before. I liked this hotel. It was clean, good location, and there was a nice continental breakfast. It was close to everywhere we wanted to go. The pricing is not bad at all for as long as we stayed. I would definitely stay here again.
