The room was small and outdated in the decor, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was convenient with the door to the outside right by our car.

This was not the nicest hotel, but it was decent for the rate paid. It was also very close to the middle of town where I needed to go.

I saw the billboard on the interstate and hoped it was true, as other billboards profess good rates but when you get their the rates are inflated. I was very pleased to see HOJO keeps its promise. Nothing fancy- but the best rest I have had away from home in a long time.

This facility is in sad need of maintenance and update, the room door did not even close tightly and noise traveled from room to room as well as highway noise.

the hotel was in a good location for where i needed to be. it was close to many restaurants as well as the building where my business meetings were held. the only bad thing is their internet. i was able to connect, however, the connection was slow it felt like i was using a 28.8k dial-up modem from the 1990s.

We usually stay at a ho jo and always find friendly service and wonderful atmosphere. That was not the case here. Staffordable was rude. We were forced to move our car by the staff so the could black top the parking lot. When we asked for a late check oUT ( due to our lost sleep moving the car) we were given 15 mins. (Not an hour) the crew they hired to tar the lot didn't even mark off the zone, it was highly dangerous- smelly and uncomfortable and I saw a child get burns on the bottom of his f... Read more

We will not stay here again. We arrived late on a Friday and there was a lot of suspicious activity going on. It was everything from women leaving rooms to men hanging out that were obviously high on something. Rooms are old but it was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I was not satisfied with the room. Room was run down and too much noise from highway. Smokers next door to room with smell in room.

So first, the positives! Very close to freeway - centrally located in town. Lady at front desk was pleasant Rooms were relatively clean The negatives... Wellllll...... the parking lot is tiny. the lobby needs a makeover and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke There were a dozen people hanging out outside their rooms drinking alcohol and there was a strong odor of marijuana, and they were playing music very loudly there was a smudge of blood/mucus? on one of the pillows in the room I did not ... Rooms were acceptable and clean. No fridge. AC works but struggled to keep the room cool. Obviously an older hotel that was upgraded on the cheap years ago. Staff was friendly. The outside of the hotel was dirty, especially the sidewalks. Seriously, rent a power washer and clean them up! Parking lot is small and cramped. Neighborhood is horrible. Lots of homeless and shady characters walking around. Immediate area is run down, with lots of abandoned boarded up businesses overgrown with grass. ... Read more

Older hotel moderate amenities, staff is great and very helpful, property is dated but if you just looking for an inexpensive place to rest and head out, it is fine.

I was relaxing in the tub while my boyfriend was outside taking his medication for his anxiety. My nephew came to bring me some soda and the money for my room to help me out, and the staff on duty was very rude and interrupted him and my boyfriend. He said you have to go no visiting at this motel after 9 and then started to complain about the smell of MMJ. First off this is Colorado where you can smell MMJ driving down the road. AND TO Add we were downtown surrounded by grow facilities as well a... Read more

The lady working the front desk was friendly. After that, it went downhill. Bathtub was not cleaned and had a lot of pubic hair in it. Room was dingy. Bedding was stained - we slept on top of the covers. (No other rooms available due to rodeo in town. We were stuck for the night) Wi-fi was as slow as dial-up in the 90's and I gave up. Analog TV signal on an HDTV that was small. Several rooms were occupied by people who looked homeless. Next door was a guy with prison gang tattoos wandering aroun... Read more

This hotel was not our first choice, but since our original hotel cancelled our reservation we had to scramble to find a room and HOJO was available. Night clerk was friendly for the most part, but was obviously more interested in watching TV than giving us his attention. Room was adequate, clean and the water pressure was spot on. Internet was sporadic especially before 7am, when the clerk from the night before showed up for his shift. The area next to the office was gross-overflowing trash b... Read more

The facilities aged but perhaps I am too fussy. We were travelling as a family and had 2 rooms. it was as if housekeeping got interrupted.... toilet paper was needed, the tub had hair in it. When we went to get extra paper and towels the receptionist was stingy.....

Not bad place at first, younger guy with glasses and blonde hair was not very helpful or courteous. Acted like he was working his way up a multi million dollar company by trying to squeeze every $ out possible.

Having been a Wyndham Rewards member for quite awhile I truly expected this hotel to be of a higher standard - what a disappointment. 1. The customer service of the woman checking us in was less than stellar. She absolutely had no customer service savvy at all. 2. Although the woman assured us that we would "love" the room, again I say - what a disappointment. 3. There was hair on the bathroom floor when we walked in, assuring us that the bathroom was not clean. 4. The carpeted floors wer... Read more

This hotel is all about bring all in your business. Was not worth 104.00 a night, not much for complementary breakfast, and instead of working they're too busy harassing your friends, or family that visit you at the hotel. The female at night is so damn rude I cannot see who she keeps her job. Don't waste your time at this location. Perhaps the other is better if not owned by same person.

I dont write reviews, I read them, till now. This hotel was the last straw. Me and my family were on road trip. I picked this hotel cause of the free quick continental breakfast. On 4th of July we came down for breakfast and nothing was there. Manager on duty - Mike informed us that there was a delivery truck accident and there is no breakfast. Someone will contact me and resolve the problem... Nobody did. I called couple times and always was given the runaround. Then finally got some different ... Read more

Within 30 minutes of booking this hotel we found out that our daughter had to be hospitalized. We needed to stay with her at the hospital because she is very young. We called and explained the situation and were charged the full nights fee for canceling. According to the person on the phone the manager adamantly refused to waive the fee. I'm sure people make excuses for canceling all the time but given the short time frame I can't see why we had to be charged. We will never stay at a Howard John... Read more

This was a mistake. We we're looking for a place with an outdoor pool and this was all available. Pictures are deceiving. This place was nasty, and found out we were in the worst part of town. The room was fair, to say the best. Bathroom floor, sticky, no clock and people in surrounding rooms scarey. I'm no prude, but we we're uncomfortable here. Couldn't wait to leave this morning. Booking online is not always a good way to go. Avoid this place.

Dear Owner I'm wondering if your employee Angie\Angela is suited for the HOSPITATLIY INDUSTRY??? She was LESS THAN friendly during our stay - she barked at my daughters about the limit of donuts they were allowed to have when they went down for breakfast , she informed us that we were not ALLOWED to have visitors after 10 and maybe if she could learn how to SMILE AND GREET people when they come in she may become and asset to your business.. some training is in order - you should have her job s...
