Stayed for a Saturday night. There was wallpapering being done on the 4th floor so we opted to move to a quieter floor. Overall the noise level was acceptable but the bed was not too comfortable. The bathroom was average, needs updating, paint peeling off bottom of door, caulking separating along seams on floor, etc... needs some attention. There was a refrigerator and microwave and keurig machine in the room. Freezer part of fridge really needed defrosting! But it worked. TV was flat screen and... Read more

Great views from our window. Our room felt clean. Good water pressure in shower. Great breakfast as always. Staff is kind and friendly. Pool is pretty small but is indoor and there is also an indoor hot tub. It's super humid in there but still is fun for kids. Overall everything is good just needs some updating.

I stayed here for one night as I was passing through Colorado. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The staff were fantastic and attentive... I was given an upgrade to a King Suite and the staff did everything they could to make my stay perfect. The location of the hotel couldn't be better. It sits just off the high way less than a 5 minute drive to a number of restaurants and shopping.

The fitness center leaves a lot to be desired. The front desk staff was friendly. The room is ok. Small bathroom. The old heater is still there and blows cold air but the new room thermostat regulates the actual temperature. When I come back to the area I'll try a different hotel.

We were visiting from 2.5 hours away due to an early eye surgery for my husband. This location is clean and comfortable, well signed from the road and easy to find. The staff were wonderful. We had our two dogs with us during this stay, and one is very afraid of elevators. After explaining this to the front desk attendant, she very kindly changed us to a first floor room, and then went to get the surprise gift basket that was in the room they had originally planned for us, and personally de... Rooms were great size, pool was nice and the breakfast was great a lot to choose from and the staff kept it full. Loved the pancake maker. You can eat in the breakfast area or on the outside deck. suggest the deck due to the amazing views. Restaurants across the street, and more about 4 miles away down Nevada is a Starbucks, Panera etc. nice shopping center with a lot of food choices. Mini golf down the street and and gas/convenience store right across the street. The hotel also has snacks and... Read more

We had a good and comfortable room and stay typical of a Holiday Inn Express. The first room they assigned us was not prepared, but they quickly took care of us putting us in a different room. The standard Holiday Inn Express breakfast was very much enhanced by dining outside on the patio with a good view of Pikes Peak.

Did not have a booking before arrival but Dominique went over and above the usual service to ensure that I managed to book a Reward night with the assistance of central reservations. Allocated room 204 on my arrival which was an upgraded room, in fact it appeared to be a suite. The outlook was over the front of the property but the room was quiet both inside and outside the hotel. There are several restaurants opposite the hotel for evening meals, I chose the Outback restaurant. The breakfast... Read more

Huge room, amazing breakfast, beautiful view off the breakfast area balcony. Nice, helpful staff. Swimming pool and hot tub were great...even has an attached outdoor sitting area. Good location, close to restaurants and gas stations. Parking in the back is a little bit scary at night...poor lighting. Very little parking in the front. We would definitely stay here again! There was a microwave in the room, but it couldn't be plugged in. Noisy rooms above us.

It was nice hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. The room was normal - not spectacular but clean and a basic hotel room. The breakfast was good - the room for the breakfast was very small for the large number of guests on both of our mornings. The view from the balcony of the breakfast area was stellar though - no complaints there.

Motel was clean and the staff was great as always. We were close to many restaurants and tourists attractions. We had a problem with our a/c the first night, after I called the next morning to report it Brian was on our room within 5 minutes The room was cool upon our return. They did everything possible to make sure we were happy including moving us if we wanted. We always stay at Holiday Inn because of the people that work there! Would stay again. This hotel was excellent. It is in a great location. We went for a drive to Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods and Cripple Creek. The only thing not perfect was the parking, the spots were small and everyone seemed to have large suvs and trucks. We had to say something to a woman that parked so close that we couldn't get our drivers door open. The room had a mountain view. We had a fridge, microwave and Keurig coffemaker. The room was very clean and had plenty of counter space. We got a nice su... Read more

A very convenient location. Rooms were excellent, hotel was clean, good amount of electrical outlets, and good beds. While the hotel is excellent and the staff was very accommodating to us and our dog, parking is an issue. Many of the parking spaces are very, very close together. This makes it difficult to keep your car from getting nicked if the hotel is full.

Hotel and room were very clean. Fruit-infused water was always available in the lobby, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, our room had a very musty smell to it. We noticed whenever the maids came in to clean that they would turn the temperature down to 65...when the room was 70 degrees or above there was an strange smell. The mattress was way too soft for my liking, but that seems to be the trend everywhere these days. Okay place but definitely wouldn't be at the top of my list to stay... Read more

Noticed I was charged 10.00 extra per person with me. Be aware of this when booking. Front desk took charges off. But only after I questioned the amount. Two noise complaints from downstairs bcz my 3 year old was too loud in bathtub. Seriously?

King suite was fine. The pullout was a bit uncomfortable. The stair doors are noisy and slam all night. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. The breakfast terrace had some beautiful views for your morning coffee. Indoor pool had too much chlorine and was very irritating. Ample breakfast and lots of bunnies running around the property. We would stay here again.

Professional friendly service, amazingly helpful and made good choices for points of interest and restaurant recommendations. The rooms were super clean, the beds and linen were comfortable and cozy. Only one complaint would be the toilet paper is really poor quality, I know it is environmentally friendly, but it is just bad. Small complaint, but true. Lol I'll bring my own... otherwise perfect stay!!! Reason for Visit:friends wedding in the mountain

The parking is very limited especially for large vehicles. There is addition parking behind the hotel in a lot shared with Springhill Suites, however the spaces are small and maneuvering is tight. Using the back lot requires a little bit of a walk up steps which isn't easy with luggage or if you have trouble walking. The bathroom in the King suite was tiny, you have to squeeze around the door when exiting. The housekeeping staff helped themselves to the breakfast bar which is something I've nev... Read more

Stayed for 2 nights with family while on vacation. Used pool 1st night but had to leave pool area after a short while because of strong chlorine fumes. Room was clean, beds very comfortable. Bedding for Hide a Bed was stained so we used our own. Shower/tub was very very slippery resulting in a bad fall with injuries. Front desk was notified, incident form filed and we were promised that a manager would contact us. Never heard from manager, no housekeeping or maintenance person ever came to ch... Read more

This hotel wasn't bad but wasn't great either. The beds were a little hard, the bathroom a little small, and the mini fridge was noisy. The curtains couldn't be closed which was fine for the first night since I had to be up by six but made it hard to sleep in the next morning. The customer service was OK. The second night the smoke detector started beeping in my room. I called the front desk twice and got no answer. I went down to the front desk and talked to a nice guy who came up right away to... 3 stars isn't a "bad" rating, but is certainly isn't an endorsement either. Positives: 1 CLEAN - We have been traveling for the last 2.5 weeks. This was the cleanest. 2 Above Avg Breakfast (Pancakes - made while you wait). Breakfast Staff was great. 3 Staff was polite. 4 Convenient location Negatives: 1 Noisy: 6AM I could hear the person on 3rd floor walking BACK AND FORTH! UGH 2 Check-in: Took nearly 15 minutes to check-in. Why would you NOT have a 2nd person to assist on 2nd Shift? Duh. ... Read more

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights earlier this week, wanting to see Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City before flying out of COS. It is reasonably handy for all these, without the noise from people catching flights that you get at airport hotels. The hotel is clean and the rooms comfortable. Anita and her staff were great, changing our room to one where we couldn't hear the freight trains and giving helpful, informed information about the area. Overall a decent property and I'll stay again. The entrance is kind of obscure and the parking is atrocious. The lobby is on the 2nd floor and the parking on that level is very limited. Parking in back on the 1st level is designed for sub-compact cars only so when a "tiny" F-150 or even a small crossover tries to park, more than one space must be taken. The hot tub is a bubbler without any decent jets. Pick the top floor facing west.
