The facility was brand new, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The front desk person who's name is Will was excellent. He and his staff both nights that we were there March 18th and 19th 2016 were on top of everything. Actually all of the staff was willing to be of service. Will definitely stay there whenever I visit the Springs, Hope the staff remains the same.

The good: Spacious clean room, shuttle service - who wants to drive to Phantom Canyon Brewing and back? friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, complementary breakfast. The bad: Highway noise on highway side especially the upper floors, inedible scrambled eggs for breakfast but everything else okay. Overall was a good experience and I would return.

This is a newer property so very clean with comfortable beds and linens. What makes this property is the staff. Will was great checking me in and made a restaurant recommendation that was one of the best I ever had! And Will really helped out when I checked out. Then their is the shuttle service. It saves a lot as will take you anywhere in the immediate downtown areas. Chris was so nice and accommodating when driving me around. Told me a lot about the area and where to go. He made my time ther... Read more

Great hotel, only bettered by the staff. Great bunch of people 'all facing the same way'. They could not have been more helpful, no was not an option in helping me solve a particular difficulty several thousand miles away. Clean, efficient, accommodating and with a courtesy bus available. Worth a return visit for sure.

I was looking for a hotel to set up my group block for my wedding guests. Many hotels in the downtown Colorado Springs area charge through the roof for a wedding block with lots of additional costs and charges. My family happened to see this hotel and I am so thankful we decided to come here. Denise helped my mom set up a room block for the lowest price in the area. Not only did she beat her competitors prices, the service that my family received from Denise was incomparable to anywhere I have... Read more

We stayed four nights for our grandson's Air Force Academy graduation and wedding. The employees from the front desk receptionists to the breakfast room staff to the maintenance man to the room staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast room attendants were very attentive and even offered to fix a sack lunch for some. The complimentary breakfast included crisp fried bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and all the usual pastries, fruit and cereals. This was the most re... Read more

Beautiful hotel, fairly new near downtown Colorado Springs. The staff was very professional and helpful. The breakfast was excellent compared to other holiday inn express. The king suites was spacious and well arranged. We enjoyed the view looking at the mountains facing west. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and a walk in shower. The pool is a nice size and a Jacuzzi somewhat small. You have to use your room key to enter The front desk is helpful; if you are lucky t... Read more

Rachel at the desk is a total delight! What a sweetheart! Great clean room, free breakfast is always a plus- very convenient location, reasonable distance from downtown- had a great stay. I will totally be back when I'm in the area again. ?????? ??

First off, if staying right next to an interested is bothersome for you you'll want to pass. Definite travel noise easily heard throughout the day since I25 a wild pitch away and in a neighborhood that looks to be in process of commercial growth pushing into and taking over the residential area. Otherwise, you're good to go. Nicely kept hotel with a shuttle to the downtown area only...Rachel made it clear that anything over 2 miles isn't available so our 3 mile request was denied. Adequate poo... Read more

Nice hotel friendly service but bad area of town. Next to liquor store and pot store. Very disappointing. Friendly staff. Shuttle cause you don't dare walk around. Scary! Old Colorado nearby but I would not advise walking anywhere. Loud air conditioning also.

Stayed at this hotel and was initially only able to stay for 3 nights but needed more as my family and I were newly relocated to the area. Kept checking with Hoss, Todd and Rachel at the front desk to extend my stay. Even after the first couple of days of having no luck with the extension and asking a few times daily they were all courteous and more than happy to assist. The persistence paid off. We were able to extend and the staff seemed happy that we were able to do so. Never got a hint that ... Read more

Much bigger room than anticipated, in a very clean and well run hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is standard fare but good, and they don't make a huge fuss about timings. There is a fair sized pool, hot tub and fitness room. A nice touch is the shuttle bus, staff are happy to take you into town, and their recommendations for dining were spot on. The only reason for four stars rather than five is the location, although it's very handy from the Interstate, it's on the wrong ... Read more

Good and friendly customer service. The were accommodating. Nice hotel and amenities. Only problem as others have mentioned was the road noise. They got me a new room that was better. Breakfast is not until 7am on weekends but they put stuff out some items early.

This hotel was great as it was right off of 1-25. Close to a Sam's club we always like to go get gas there before going deeper into the mountains the next day. We also ate a Cracker Barrel not too far away. Always a good balanced meal. We did drive through Garden of the Gods as it was close by. The front desk help was great as we asked about Garden of the Gods and they recommended driving through it at least. Glad we did. We had trouble with the air conditioner working and maintenance was ... Read more

We spent the night at this hotel at the start of our two week Colorado trip. The staff was very nice, the beds were okay and the breakfast was nice. The air conditioner in the room sounded like a car starting up each time the compressor kicked in - made for a less than great night sleep. The location was a little difficult to get into from the interstate.

We stayed overnight and had to turn the AC unit so that it did not engage because the motor sound would not permit a quality night sleep. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice to have breakfast before a busy day in the area parks.

Clean ! Everything is extremely clean and fresh smelling. Also, the staff worked diligently in my behalf when they had no availability to extend my stay and ended up rebooking me. The breakfast was amazing and everyone was so nice and polite. I love here in the Springs and if the occasion arises, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

When my daughter and I first arrived the front desk Will was so super friendly! Will thanked us for returning and gave us tons of info! My daughter is going to school here and I'll be returning again and a lot, so I'll stay here! The room was absolutely spotless, comfy, and homey! Great location too!!! Thanks will see ya soon!!!!

I want to say a big thank you to the staff. They were the most friendly staff I have experienced at a hotel in the last 3 years. We stayed in a spacious king suite for one week and received great advice on local eateries and activities in the area. There were 4 managers and it seamed like 2 of them were always there and available. We strongly recommend this hotel as it is close to everything.

Holidays Hotel have a hit or miss reputation, some you stay in are great! Some not so much! Well this one is a winner, the staff appear to really care they always speak to you coming or going! The breakfast is average but always clean and on time. Marriott has the best home made oatmeal. they have the cereal packs here! The rooms are large with frigs, sinks, microwave and cabinets. Comfortable enough for my two and one half week stay. The bathroom have showers and no tubs which I like and the ho... Read more

We were very happy with our stay. The staff were just great, right down to the Shuttle driver, Chris, that drove us to dinner and back. After a long day on the road, we had an easy check-in. The rooms are very well appointed. Love the Kuerig and the pillow choices. The breakfast the next morning was really great. Got to meet the General Manager, who was helping in the kitchen. Gotta love a working Manager!! Overall, great experience. We will definitely return our next time thru Colorado ... Read more

The Holiday Inn Express Downtown is a very nice physical property. It's new, and the rooms are large and well-appointed. Much nicer physical environment than I would have thought. The staff is also very pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast is ok--it is a full breakfast (eggs, bacon, pancakes, yogurt, juice, coffee). I had two issues with our room, though. First, the hotel is right next to a very busy highway (I-25) so there was traffic noise all day and all night. The windows are insula... Read more

I'll start by saying this was a nice hotel with a nice view of the mountains. I always stay Hilton but was in town for a wedding staying here. That said I was pleasantly surprised. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this location though, especially because Holiday Inn does not have a camera that can see the entire lot (one lot, all in front parking). I know this because someone broke into my vehicle and stole $400 cash from the center console. There are homeless drug addicts on the corner at the convenience ... Read more
