We arrived early in the AM from a 11 hour drive , tired and hungry. Lashonda I believe that was here name, was phenomenal not only was she pleasant but compassionate .She got us a room as soon as there was one available . Offered us the breakfast, which we took her up on. The room was quiet and comfortable.we were able to nap before meeting family. In a day where customer service lacks,She was a nice surprise.

Wifi, when it was working, worked terribly. It was mostly just down. I'm not sure how this property can operate under such antiquated internet equipment. The fact that I had to stay up a couple of extra HOURS (instead of sleeping) to complete some simple tasks is simply unacceptable. I can't see staying here next time I'm in town. Also note that if you get a "good" rate, it probably doesn't come with breakfast.

The room was clean. They have an on-site restaurant with very decent prices. The staff was wonderful. I can't remember the name of the man who checked us in the first night, wish I could so I could give him a much deserved shout-out. The price for the room is a little on the pricier side for the hotels in town, but they have a microwave, and a decent sized mini-fridge so you could save money on food if you stayed longer than a night or two. In all, can't really complain. I got what I asked for a... Read more

Great sleeping beds and rooms! A/C was cold. Good Wifi and TV. I think if I were to come back to Colorado Springs on vacation, I would stay here. Breakfast included would have been nice....but hey, you can't have everything.

Room was great--clean, well appointed, view of Pikes Peak! (Great towels!) Heat/AC worked very well. WiFi worked very well. Hotel is new and very well maintained public and private spaces. Hotel is very quiet as well. And above all, staff was friendly, responsive, and efficient. Easy access to Colorado Springs. Thanks Guys.

We love this hotel! Live in the Denver area and come down for a quick getaway (one or two nights) every so often. Every time the room has been clean, the bed comfortable, and the heat/ac easy to regulate. The front desk staff have always been happy to see us and very accomadating if we needed anything. The location is ideal because it's just off highway 24, so a quick and direct drive to old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Academy Boulevard, and the interstate. When we got... I spent six nights at this location and was very happy with the experience! Great views of the Front Range and Pikes Peak, great local advice from the front desk staff, and a very clean room! WiFi had good signal but slightly sluggish speeds, though hardly a deterrent; there was also an Ethernet cable to the desk, but I didn't have a need to log in. Location is easy to the airport (but not so close that aircraft noise is even noticeable) and into the city: 15 minutes to downtown, 10 minutes to I... Read more

Dedicated and hard working staff. Rooms were recently renovated, including the lobby. We had a noisy neighbor. Hotel manager immediately proposed to switch room and was helpful. The breakfast buffet is a kinda depressing. I miss the god old magical Holiday Inn breakfast of my childhood.

The property is very convenient to Peterson Air Force Base is within US Govt per diem rates. The front desk staff was welcoming and check-in was a breeze. The onsite restaurant was very convenient and a $10 voucher is available for Fedroom participants. The room was nicely appointed.

The room was nice, on-point with Gov. rates, and fairly spacious. However, I found the perks of staying at this hotel stopped there. Let's run through a typical day and how this hotel can be a let down. Point #1 "The Morning Routine": Unbeknownst to me and fellow coworkers, only certain people/bookings receive vouchers for breakfast. These vouchers are typically $10 and will cover the cost of most breakfast items on the menu leaving you with a $0 bill. Having booked directly through the hotel,... Read more

I was in town to close on a new house in nearby Fountain. I'm a Priority Club Gold member, so I try to stay at Holiday Inns as much as possible. There's only one real negative I can find with this hotel: It's not at the airport. Yes, it's close by -- about a 15-min drive. But...it's not at the airport. For the positives -- first, I want to thank the staff -- especially Connie. She is a gem! Whenever I had a problem, she fixed it right away. She was especially helpful, when after my wee... Read more

Quick Trip - Overnight stay to see my son. I'm an IHG member and was not greeted as such (like I am at other IHG hotels) or given the little goodie bag with a water and snack. However, I was able to get into my room before the official check in time which was awesome. The TV remote didn't work well and the alarm clock went off twice in the middle of the night from someone else setting it which was really annoying as I had a 4 am wake up as it was. But the room was clean and spacious and the b... Read more

I took my 2 teenage children on a summer road trip from Indiana-Topeka, KS-Colorado Springs, CO-Laramie,Wyoming-Mount Rushmore-Lincoln, NE and Sioux City, IA. We came to Colorado Springs for my kids to go to Cave of the Winds to ride the Terror-Dactyl. I can't say anything bad about this hotel. The front desk was friendly, rooms were clean, AC worked well and beds/pillows were soft. I guess the only bad was no free breakfast but I can deal with that. I would stay here again if we come back.

I have made Holiday Inn Express my go-to lodging. In this instance, there was something going on in the area so finding lodging the Express didn't work out so we ended up at the Inn next door. It was good but I missed the breakfast provided at the Express. But the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful.

Had a one night stay on points this week with a friend before a "guy's road trip." Lobby was attractive and immaculately clean. Front desk folks were affable, helpful, and just genuinely nice. Room appears to have been recently remodeled and was very nice, if just a shade on the small side for two queen beds. I was impressed with the tv and the connectivity options available. Very good sleep quality, very quiet. And I love the fact that they will give you 1000 IHG points for a Triip Adviso... Read more

I have been to Colorado Springs many times but usually fly in/out of Denver. Since I flew into COS airport I decided to stay at and IHG hotel close by. The hotel lived up to my expectations. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, quiet and I had a good night's sleep. There is a restaurant onsite but at the time (change in ownership) they only allowed you to charge it to your room. Don't confuse this property to the Holiday Inn that is right next door.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for three nights during a week long vacation to Colorado. We were happy to find that it was a comfortable and accommodating place. The rooms are smaller than many Holiday Inns I have stayed in (we are IHG members and stay at Holiday Inn properties all the time), however, we found the layout worked ok. The beds were comfortable, which had not been the case at two other places we stayed. I was relieved because I needed a good night's sleep. It had storage areas... Read more

I stayed there one night on my way to Denver and was an absolutely fantastic day. The staff was friendly and nice and very very helpful. The room was very nice the bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby. The only thing though it didn't affect me was that it was a stand up shower not one with the tub. I would highly recommend this for anybody who is looking for a nice place.

This Holiday Inn Express was clean, bright surprise. Well located by the airport it met my needs for a long weekend stay. They were kind enough to upgrade me to a suite with a balcony no less! The breakfast offered was top notch. Negative aspects of my stay were a TV with interrupted reception, higher than expected price and a deadbolt on the door that did not work. Otherwise everything was good to excellent.

Everyone was very pleasant and prompt. My only negative comment, especially for a hotel that military use for brief stays or re-stationing, of the 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, only one set worked. After doing one load in the dryer, the remaking dryer broke down. Two days later it wasn't fixed, but this did happen over a weekend. Overall this is a great place to stay. Cheerful reception staff who allocated us a room on the 3rd floor, with a mountain view. The room had a sofa, desk and chair, microwave and fridge. The bathroom had a walk in shower. Evening meals were excellent, but our prepaid breakfast vouchers restricted our choice, and didn't even include a coffee or juice! The evening meal servers were much more understanding of our needs then the breakfast staff.

Room 400. Comfortable. Very clean and well appointed. Property handy to various stores and restaurants. Unable to use hot tub/pool area as it was very crowded, and many boisterous children. And I am talking about 9PM, when the kids should be in their rooms winding down. I wish hotels would make that last hour of the pool/hot tub adults only for some relaxing peace and quiet after a long day of traveling. The bed felt heavenly, and there was a nice assortment of pillows to choose from. However, w... Read more
