Wow! That's the best I got. I mean the hospitality from each person in the building was wonderful. We even had icing on the cake with the wonderful young lady (I believe her name was Savanna) let me borrow a ice scraper since it started snowing over night (it was almost 60 the day before) and there was about 5" on the car and I had no scraper in my car. She saved me tons of time and heartache. Great staff and clean rooms.

We got a room on 3rd floor and it had an excellent view od mountains, kids and us enjoyed it. Breakfast was good , lot of choice of items. Housekeepers weren't doing their job properly so we had to inform the front desk when checking out, the lady at the front took note of it and also offered complimentary water bottles.

We stayed here on a Thursday and Sunday night (Friday Saturday elsewhere) and had great experiences both days.the place was welcoming, clean, convenient, comfortable. Especially liked the double sided fireplace in the lobby. The breakfast area was nice for hanging out and getting filled up for the day. We loved the indoor pool and outdoor hottub in the 13 degree weather. Every single staff member we came in contact with was professional, happy, welcoming. Tip: get the king size bed. Really gre... ROOMS: Everything about our stay and the room was excellent with the exception of the mattresses being way too soft; however, I gave them five stars because they are replacing all the mattress in April. We had a top floor room and didn't hear any noise from other rooms. The suite rooms are especially nice with a separate sitting area and a sofa bed. It feels very spacious and puts the beds way away from the door and any noise from the hallway. I especially liked the row of ceiling lights ab... Read more

We were in a king room north facing with a view of the parking lot. South facing rooms would have beautiful views of the mountains. We arrived early and the management was very kind to give us a room as soon as a clean one was available. The breakfast has biscuits and gravy as well as scrambled eggs with various toppings available like cheese and salsa. There was also a wide variety of fruit, cereals and breads and a waffle station. There is a nice heated pool, workout room and outdoor hott... Read more

My husband and I spent 4 days at the Fairfield Inn on Struthers Road. For us, the location was great! Close to the interstate, restaurants, and shopping. Front desk was warm and welcoming. My only complaint was their housekeeping. The Bed: The pillows looked like they were just thrown on the bed every day, even the day we checked in! That is usually your first impression of the hotel. Not good! Pillows, Not smooth or crisp. Wrinkled and part of the pillow was not completely in the ca... Read more

We enjoyed out stay in a room with a mountain view as well as the Air Force Academy. The hotel was inviting from the outside and the lobby. If you're not arriving from Suthers coming from the South, it's a little challenging but not a large problem. The pool looked nice although we only used the outside whirlpool. The evening was cool but the whirlpool very nice and relaxing. A plus is that it would likely be quieter if kids were enjoying the pool as it's not in the same room. Breakfast was nice... Read more

I've been a long time loyal Marriott platinum card member with over 100 night stays with our two pet dogs without incident. Well, this changed during our last stay when we were called twice from the front desk telling us our dogs were barking too loud. The first evening, we rushed back to the room immediately only to find our dogs sleeping quietly. Checking my web cam it showed one of the dogs whimpering a bit, but he wasn't terrible and we were not convinced it was our dogs. The second eveni... Read more

This is where you want to stay, if Colorado Springs is your destination, and the Air Force Academy is a focal point of your trip. You are away from Colorado Springs and all of its congestion, and the town of Monument (just to the north) supplies all of your food and dining needs. The motel's rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast is top notch. Highly recommended!

We stayed here using Marriott points and were well pleased. Room had both fridge and microwave. The views here are magnificent! As noted, only a few minutes from Air Force Academy south gate. Plenty of shopping both north and south. Great service. Didn't stay for included breakfast. Recommended.

I would rate the hotel higher if we hadn't heard so much door slamming in the morning. It came from different locations in the hotel so it wasn't one or two loud rooms. It's just easy to hear when people shut the doors. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. It's also conveniently located near Walmart, Texas Roadhouse, Chili's and more. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The only complaint I have about the room (and this is a small one) is that the shower curtain liner neede... Read more

What good is a fridge if you can't cook what's it's it? No microwave! The shower head is pitiful, as well. Very pleasant staff. There's a no smoking policy, but someone has smoked in this room recently. I wouldn't pay to stay here. I suppose the advantage is the proximity to the USAF Academy.

The property was clean and safe, and was in a good neighborhood. Everything was up to date. Breakfast shuts off promptly at 9, and if you expect any leeway on this, the lady running the kitchen will set you straight. We found Colorado Springs to be very tough for finding last minute hotel reservations. The town apparently sells out quickly. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for one night. Hotel was great, very clean room, excellent bed. I am Marriott Rewards platinum premier so we got an upgrade, so even better. Nice quiet location, plenty of parking, just off the interstate. Only one thing that could have been better, there was no meat at breakfast on Sunday morning, not a major issue for us, but kind of surprised there was no sausage.

We booked this hotel through Tingo via Trip Advisor. After driving for two days from Texas with my elderly mother and small children we get to this hotel only to find that they were overbooked! We never got notice from either Fairfield Inn OR Tingo that our reservation had been canceled. The girl at the front desk, Jessica, just threw her hands in the air - with attitude to boot - and told us that there was nothing she could do. I asked her to get on the phone and find us a comparable hotel ... Read more

Weekday manager, Catherine, was great and very helpful. Hotel is clean looking new, room was newer looking (carpet, beds, pillows, bathroom) and perfect. Solid breakfast with scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, all the trimmings. No complaints there. Stayed upper floor facing South -- great views. I'll stay again if I'm in the area.

We usually always fly into Colorado Springs because it's close to Salida where we're looking for a 2nd home. We stay at Fairfield Inn when we fly in and then again when we fly out. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very nice and last a little longer than most places. Great variety to start your day. They will even make you a tray you can take back to your room. It is also very easy to use points. The rates are reasonable and it's le... Read more

I forgot this when I booked our family in here to stay while we were moving. How one screws up eggs, I'll never guess, but Fairfields across the country manage to do it. We had an issue with housekeeping when $100 went missing from my elderly mother's purse, that was disappointing. Otherwise a generic stay in a generic hotel that gets the job done for staying somewhere and not being too picky about it. Except breakfast...please use real eggs and not that powdered mess. Also worthy to note is... Read more

Stopped in Colorado Springs to visit my brother at UCCS. This location is about 15 miles north of UCCS. I felt like it was kinda far. The staff was very friendly. I was very surprised at how clean the room was. The king room was a bit small. The bath room was big and especially the bath tub. This location is right next to a McDonald's and Walgreens. Very easy to find.
