Overall this is a good hotel in a good location. The complimentary breakfast is awesome. The custom made omelets and pancakes are amazing and the chefs who cook them are great. The bathrooms are a little small and the mattresses are a little soft. However, the rooms were clean and it's nice to have separate living and sleeping areas.

Nothing major to complain other than its a smaller hotel, with very little parking when the hotel was full. Evening reception had fewer selections to choose from than other Embassy's..... both drink wise and snack wise. I will say the breakfast was really good.

Stayed last week. The hotel was very full, but not noisy in our room, which was 332. Very comfortable bed. Room is on the side away from the freeway, and we could not hear traffic at all. Had great interactions with Selena, the front desk manager. She went out of her way to help resolve a problem with the AC in our room - thank you!

We usually love this place, this time the bereakfast just wasn't clean. The tables and chairs were all sticky, and several were left full of dishes while the attendant was asking people eating if they were done with their plates, which I'm sure was a way to get trips from them. The milk dispenser was so dirty, it had many days worth of caked on milk drips from the dispenser on the part where you were supposed to press your cup against it. One of the attendants just walked around with her hands... Read more

They have finally started updating the property, I heard it was 30 years old. They have updated carpeting in hallways, bedrooms and painting. The bathrooms are still old, but fixtures are new, the painting only part way done, but I'm sure they'll continue working once the hotel clears out again after the AFA graduation over the week. Again, as always, the breakfast and evening reception are wonderful. Breakfast cooked to order with a choice of oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, sausage, pancakes, sausa... Read more

We really like the Embassy Suites. However, the night we stayed must have been a Senior Ball night for the local high school. There were young people all over the hotel that night dressed to the nines. Unfortunately, that did raise the noise level. Once we went to bed, having the suites put us away from the Atrium area so the noise was not noticeable. There were also a lot of families with young children staying at the same time. At the manager's reception, the children were scooping the s... Read more

I arrived at the Embassy Suites with my mother and older brother. My mom uses a walker. The bathroom in this "executive" suite was so small, that you couldn't close the door with a walker in the bathroom. The door swung in past the front of the toilet. I've seen smaller bathrooms in other countries, but never in an american hotel. The hotel staff stated that all of their rooms had these tiny bathrooms, except the handicap accessible rooms. We were here for 3 nights. The property has been recently renovated, so everything was new--very clean and quiet. The bathroom was adequate but a bit on the small side. The breakfast was wonderful. The cooks made eggs to order or omelets very quickly. Cocktails in the evening was a nice way to end the day. Staff was very friendly. And the location was ideal for sightseeing. This hotel staff was very helpful to us for a variety of needs, especially the staff at the restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was the best we have had at similar hotels, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. We ate at the hotel 2 nights after tiring days of sightseeing and rafting. The location close to I-25 was handy to travel to nearby sites as well as to Canon City for rafting. The kids liked the larger pool.

We stayed in 5 hotels during our road trip and this was by far our favorite. The evening reception was great and my husband enjoyed his custom omelet in the morning for breakfast. The whirlpool had the best jets in terms of the power that he water comes out at, our other hotels had wimpy water jets. Most of all we loved the extra space that the front room provided even though it was just the 2 of us.

First off we love Embassy Suite hotels. But this one is definitely showing lots of wear. Flooring, paint inside and out, wall covering near bathroom, And this Embassy has much smaller rooms than we are used to. The elevator outside our room had buttons that stick and were temperamental. I always try to stay at Embassy when possible. This one in Colorado Springs was a little shy of the Embassy standards I have come to expect but really not by much. The good was a great location, we loved our mountain view room, the included breakfast was great, the cocktail hours was great, the staff was very very friendly (kudos to whole staff), pool and exercise room were adaquate and I love the atrium that all Embassy's have. Kids loved running around the big open hotel and lots of local family fun to be found. Good restaurants in walking distance. Good small gym and running trails close. Would stay here again.

This is a great facility for families! We have two children 5 and under. The set up of the rooms was perfect for us. The bathroom is outside of the bedroom so you can use it without waking the kiddos. There is a door that separates the rooms so you can stay up once the kids are in bed. Breakfast was great.

I really enjoyed our stay with just a couple of minor issues. My husband and I are 100% non smokers but there is only one way in and out of the hotel which makes you walk through the smokers. So having to hold our breath when we walk in and out was a little gross and the hotel should consider a smoking section. We stayed in a mountain view room and the views were amazing. We had a corner room which had 2 balconies so it was so nice because we could open both balconies and have an amazing breeze.... Read more

The stay was very nice for a reunion with a friend. I'd had a less than enjoyable Embassy visit elsewhere, and this one really was positive and affirming for the chain. The gift shop was the only reason I didn't rate it a 5. It's a tacky experience with no gifts, only vending food and drinks and no great choices for healthy snacks. The rooms were well-appointed and very clean. Staff was above average in helpfulness. Enjoy your stay!
