This hotel was a pleasant experience while we were visiting Canon City. We extended our stay for 2 extra days as the service, clean rooms, free breakfast and indoor pool were perfect for our family. The rooms were quiet and the hotel was centrally located to the several city parks, restaurants and Royal Gorge.

I stay at Hampton Inns from time to time and found this one just average. The service was good from staff members but the hotel needs updating to bring it in line with other Hampton Inns. Once again the TV and the shower doors were a problem for me during my stay.

The employees seemed to actually enjoy their jobs and working with each other. They made us feel like family and not just travelers. Nice rooms and great breakfast. Fresh cookies in the evenings and a clean well maintained property. If you don't know how to make waffles, just ask for Juanita in the breakfast service area, she will show you the ropes. She will also make you a "to go" bag with goodies for your road trip.

We need to know if it is fix or not be then, because we need to go the town again and stay one night. Also my son said fitness room one machine does not work. Beside this, everything ok!

Nice and clean hotel with very friendly and caring staff!!! It's about a 15 minute drive to the Royal gorge rafting and zip lining so it was pretty perfect for what we needed! Our view isn't too bad either, you really can't be beautiful mountains!!! Plus, the breakfast is delicious and included!!! You can really tell that everyone cares about their job and their clients. Pool doors propped open. Hot tub not functioning. Room and Lobby furniture stained and dated. I was unaware of the %100 guarantee until the post-stay survey--no one mentioned it before. The hot tub had been malfunctioning for days prior to my stay, so I did not see the need to report something of which the staff should have been well aware. Complimentary breakfast pretty good. There is a decent indoor pool for the kids along with a jacuzzi. Our room rate was 139.00 which was about the highest I would want to pay for this property. Canon City is a small town and pickings are slim. Positives: Good breakfast, workout room (elliptical needs work but great weight selection), rooms are clean and looks new. Front desk staff and breakfast attendant was friendly. Indoor pool but didn't use it. Negatives: Laundry room wasn't stocked, couldn't get quarters from front desk so had to drive to bank. Wifi was non existent in our room. In other parts of the hotel I could get it but not in the room.

We stayed at The Hampton Inn for three nights in Canon City, CO. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable, but it was too small for our family of five. We did get a roll away for our family, but the rooms are not large enough to accommodate the roll away. We had to move furniture around to fit the bed in the room and keep it folded up during the day to move around the room. The kids liked the pool after our daily activities so that is always a bonus with three teenagers.

The outlets in this hotel permanently damaged my MacBook Pro laptop (It will no longer boot/must be replaced). The USB outlets in the room were also wired/grounded improperly ... Read more

Motel wasn't bad, but WiFi was nonexistent. We were here for a fire detail and a good nights rest is mandatory, which we did get. The WiFi was completely out all night & is pretty important for our job. Motel was good & a lot better then the Quality Inn down the road.

We were really happy with our hotel select when visiting the town for our Polar Express experience and Royal Gorge. Polar Express is 10 minutes away. The hotel was clean, kid friendly and the breakfast was decent.
