Marriott only manages this property for the owners. Tiny balcony with no view. Small cramped rooms. Probably okay for one person. Parking is a nightmare. I would never come here again. I'm really shocked that Marriott put their name on this place.

Quick and easy check-in with parking available. We had a Beautiful view from the room, creek side. You can walk to all of the shops&restaurants. The evenings were cool so not having air conditioning was fine. It was nice to have so many hot tubs available at night too.

Great place to stay! Lots of room! Very clean! The staff is so friendly and helpful! We came at the end of August and it is very quiet. Not too crowded. Lots of activities at the actual resort. Ice cream social, painting, table tennis, pool table. Hot tubs, swimming pool. Just a wonderful place to bring your family!

This is our third time at this MVC and really enjoyed our stay. We were in the Downhill building on the 4th floor. We had a nice view of the mountains. We had a 1 bedroom instead of a studio. The rooms were large and we had 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen with a table for 6. One of the bathrooms had a jacuzzi tub. There were 2 sleeper couches in the living area. There were 2 large chairs with a large foot stool ( small child could sleep on each one ). I figure with air mattresses you could slee... Read more

Valley Lodge was a beautiful place to stay for a night in Breckenridge. We had a room overlooking the water, which was great! Plus, it was nice and quiet even with the slider door open all night. The kitchen was a nice feature and we'll be sure to book a longer stay next time! Can't go wrong here!

We headed up in early Sept to get in some last minute hiking before it turned cold. The Marriott was exceptional, it is an older facility but has been renovated and exceptionally clean.be aware that the terns "balcony" can be a bit misleading. Ours was 2 ft wide and sloped down, no way could you sit on it without getting disoriented. The work out area was well equipped an clea. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of stores, dining, etc

Hotel a short walk to the Main Street of quaint shops, restaurants, & pubs. We stayed in a studio which was nicely furnished and had a full kitchen which is a plus for a studio. Quality Mariott service. Only complaint is the parking garage is not handicap friendly.

Great location, walking distance to all restaurants and shopping. Beautiful views from our 2 sliding glass doors. Parking garage short distance away. We stayed in a one room villa. 2 bathrooms and a very nice kitchen we didn't use much. Refrigerator and ice was handy.

I stayed at Marriott's Mountain Valley Lodge while in town for a work conference. Truly impressed from start to finish. Front desk staff were very warm, friendly and accommodating. Very, very nice welcome! Rooms are very nicely appointed. Décor is beautiful, and rooms are very spacious. Generous space in the living area, nicely sized kitchen, two bathrooms, both equal in size, and amenities high end. Sliding glass doors allow for fresh mountain air flow, and fantastic views of the mou... Read more

Views from the room were beautiful. As other reviews have stated, the balcony in the room is slanted and small, but logic reveals that it's to keep snow runoff off of the balcony when it starts to melt. After Labor Day it looks like most of the ski resort activities are closed, but the town is still charming with great food and shopping and just a short walk from this hotel. Bed was very comfortable if you like a firm mattress. Facility was clean and staff was friendly. Hot tubs were closed ... Read more

My husband and I were here in October. We were staying at another Marriott in Denver and decided we wanted to go on a venture for our last day. We looked on our Marriott app and found an amazing deal for the Mountain Lodge. It's a beautiful place in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. We can't wait to come back!

Excellent place to stay in Breckenridge as it is within walking distance to all of the local shops and restaurants. Safe, clean and outstanding staff to assist with your vacation. I will definitely come back to ski this winter.

We always can count on Marriott villas to come through for us. This lodge is centrally located in Breckenridge, which is an adorable village to tour. The staff was very helpful in providing information for us. One thing we like about the Marriott villas is the activities they have on site. We took advantage of the root beer floats and apple pie and cider events, as well as the canvas painting and wine evening. We only could get a studio here, but the room was perfect for us with a beautiful... Read more

I stayed there with my family in July. We had a great room with view of pool and town. Service was very good, room was clean, and just the right size for my family. When I come back to Breck I'll stay here again. Great activities for the kids also.

This is a great Marriott quality condo/timeshare/hotel right on the mountain near the Quicksilver ski lift. It is located right on the edge of the town of Breckenridge. Our one bedroom, 2 bath unit had a full kitchen with a frig, stove and dishwasher. The mountain views out the bedroom were better than the views out the living room. The "balcony" off the living room is too tiny to hold any chairs or tables. The sleeper sofa in the living room was excellent as it is a tempurpedic mattress. ... Read more

We had driven all day so it was nice to get to an easy convenient location. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was excellent. Nice bath. Full kitchen in this studio. Only negative was the parking. No valet and several of us were confused on where we could and couldn't park in a shared garage.

We had a great stay to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The first night and next day there was no hot water but they knew about it in advance so you weren't surprised. The room was clean and comfortable. The views were great. We asked to be higher than the ground floor to really take in the views and they put us on the 7th floor. It was walking distance to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Breckenridge. The property is actually a timeshare, which has fantastic amenities (free laundry on site, full kitchens, organized activities). As a hotel guest, you can take part in the activities, but still have the convenience of daily housekeeping. My room was comfortable, well equipped, and had a great view overlooking the lift, lake, and mountains. Parking was included, but was in the underground garage at the building next door. The downtown and lift... Read more

There's little not to like about Marriott's Mountain View Lodge. The facilities are clean and fresh, the staff is friendly, and the location is good. If there's a down-side it's the claustrophobic parking garages. Getting nestled among all the big SUVs and pickups can be quite a challenge. Furnishings in the units lend a western air to the setting, and as a rule, views from your villa are fantastic. A "studio" unit here has a full kitchen, and that's can be a big plus. We've been staying a... Read more

We just returned from beautiful Breckenridge and we were lucky to stay at a wonderful hotel. This hotel sits on a lake, within walking distance of town and looks at the stunning mountains! The amenities at the resort are endless- the large, heated, outside pool, the children's game room, the washer/driers on each floor and the spacious lovely rooms are just an example. We had perfect service from the front desk staff as well. Kevin and Kelsey were examples of how a front desk staff should be- w... Read more

My experience with Marriott Mountain Valley Lodge, the villa resort, reeservations, and their customer service has been terrible. The sad part is I have not even stayed here yet. We booked a vacation with them for the opening ski weekend in Breckenridge and specifically selected the Mountain Valley Lodge because of it's location to the Peak 9 Quicksilver chairlift and because it is a ski in/ski out for Peak 9. We were very excited about our trip until a couple of weeks ago when we received an ... Read more

We could walk to the main street with wonderful restaurants and cute shops. There were a couple hikes behind the hotel and I woke early and had a nice walk before my friends woke up. We stayed here in the 'shoulder season' at the end of October. It was great to be able to walk into town in 10 minutes passing by lots of restaurants and shopping. The ski lift wasn't running but it was pretty much a very short walk out the back. The hotel has a nice game room, pretty complete exercise facility, and evening activities. Price was nice during the shoulder season. I expect it would be insanely expensive during ski season.

Nice resort but a little dated, in a charming way. As a Marriott Vacation Club property, each suite comes with a kitchen and supplies for a family or larger group. We booked through the secondary timeshare market (ebay) and found very reasonable nightly rates, though other guests were using their Marriott points and thought the rates were favorable. This resort is comfortable and shares some facilities with other nearby resorts, such as the heated pool and four outdoor hot tubs. There was a ... Read more
