Breckenridge is a great place to vacation, whether you like to ski, or not. My wife, her sister, and I went to ski, but my back decided to take exception to other activities on my part, so the ladies skied, and i didn't. No problem, though, because Breckenridge has a lot to offer in addition to skiing: dining, shopping, sightseeing - this is just a nice place to visit. Let me mention that it's really nice in the summer as well, and, then, you don't have to worry about road conditions! Marrio... Read more

My husband and I stayed at these villas for our anniversary and fell in love with the property. The rooms, staff and whole property was absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be returning! We also love the town of Breckenridge, and the main street was fabulous to take a stroll and shop

We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa and it was the perfect sized for our family of 5. With the separate bedroom and bath (that has a whirlpool), the adults had their space. The kids had the living room which contained 2 comfortable pull out couches and a separate bathroom. This was ample room for us to be together. There was a lot of closet and storage space which helped with a place to get the large luggage out of the way. The kitchen/dining area is one space that's not large but has everything we... Read more

We loved our pretty studio with excellent well equipped kitchen! Good size for 2, cramped with 4. Pots/ bakeware/ skillets are high quality & heavy. Able to fix entire christmas dinner. Outdoor Pool has warm enrty/exit area, hot tubs are outside. Ski lift is just across the bridge. Had a cute balcony over the frozen lake. We took advantage of the pool table, and went to the artist studio activity center where we did an art piece. Napped in the great room with giant fireplace. The desk assisted ... Read more

Stayed one night and found it very comfortable. Very clean, nice view, great location and lots of space. Nice kitchenette with everything you would need for breakfast before skiing (no restaurant in hotel). There is a pool, hot tub and a gym. Very inexpensive too. Be sure to sign up for a Marriot rewards membership and ask for the AAA discount. It is not luxurious by any means, but neither is Breckenridge. It has everything you need! It would be great for a family or group because they have mult... Read more

We traded our Maui timeshare for a December week so we could ski and snow board. We stayed in the "Eagle" building, after not liking our room in the "Downhill" building (Smelled like a wet dog). The staff was great about the switch as well as our requests for extra blankets. 101 total rooms at the resort at the base of Peak 9. Parking is a bit tight, but most is in a covered garage which is nice. The heated pool is open year-round (awesome), but you either have to go through the garage or o... Read more

Nice resort but a little dated, in a charming way. As a Marriott Vacation Club property, each suite comes with a kitchen and supplies for a family or larger group. We booked through the secondary timeshare market (ebay) and found very reasonable nightly rates, though other guests were using their Marriott points and thought the rates were favorable. This resort is comfortable and shares some facilities with other nearby resorts, such as the heated pool and four outdoor hot tubs. There was a ... Read more

We stayed here in the 'shoulder season' at the end of October. It was great to be able to walk into town in 10 minutes passing by lots of restaurants and shopping. The ski lift wasn't running but it was pretty much a very short walk out the back. The hotel has a nice game room, pretty complete exercise facility, and evening activities. Price was nice during the shoulder season. I expect it would be insanely expensive during ski season.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. We had a room with a small balcony that overlooked Maggie Pond. Gorgeous views of the mountains. We could walk to the main street with wonderful restaurants and cute shops. There were a couple hikes behind the hotel and I woke early and had a nice walk before my friends woke up. The hotel has guided hikes and activities for children (it's a timeshare). Some people were doing yoga on paddleboards on the pond. The garage was safe and protect... Read more

My experience with Marriott Mountain Valley Lodge, the villa resort, reeservations, and their customer service has been terrible. The sad part is I have not even stayed here yet. We booked a vacation with them for the opening ski weekend in Breckenridge and specifically selected the Mountain Valley Lodge because of it's location to the Peak 9 Quicksilver chairlift and because it is a ski in/ski out for Peak 9. We were very excited about our trip until a couple of weeks ago when we received an ... Read more
