The lodge is comfortable and caters well to skiers. The room was comfortable and reasonably appointed. The bathroom is small but well appointed. The shuttle service is fantastic. A standout is shuttle driver Ron. We had to ask for housekeeping several time and they did wildly different quality jobs once they get there. However, upon checkout, when Karen (awesome!) asked us about our stay and we told her about the housekeeping, she did a wonderful job of apologizing and even got us a very reasona... Read more

I really enjoyed our stay at The Lodge. Some of the things that I enjoyed were the room (even though it was Forest view, not Mtn view, we had a fireplace which was fun), the Spa located inside the lodge, the workout room located in the basement, Traverse restaurant located inside the Lodge, and the location. The lodge, though not the most authentic, was still cute. In the lobby area, there were several different seating areas where singles, couples, groups could hang out or relax without bein... From the minute we walked through the front doors we were warmly greeted by Karen. My husband and I both felt like we were guests in her home. The coziness of the fire in the lobby and the rustic décor throughout was a welcome warmth. Nothing surpassed the views ... absolutely breathtaking. This was our 24th wedding anniversary and also "mud season" in Breck. Many restaurants were closed and there was much construction in town. We did stay one night in town but it just wasn't comfortable ... Read more

Just checked in and we already love it here. The front desk ladies are warm and friendly. The room is amazing. We travel quite often, have become accustomed to mediocre hotels along our route. This one is certainly far from mediocre. The price is very reasonable considering the amenities. The property is quiet and serene. We even got to glimpse the resident red fox that wanders the resort.

The staff was very accommodating, the food was really plentiful and good, and the room was comfortable. Great stay! I was disappointed that happy hour was advertised but not valid for our group. Not a deal breaker.

The Lodge has a beautiful location and some areas have fantastic views of the ski runs. We were surprised to be charged a resort fee of $15 when the hotel's restaurant and bar were closed on the Wednesday night we were there. Two hot tubs were on a lower level deck, but covered. A very average, minimal cold breakfast was complementary. The only other amenity offered was a oversized checkers game in a lounge which our grandsons enjoyed. Free internet was given as a reason for the resort fee.

I absolutely loved everything about the Lodge! The front desk staff to the two Jacuzzis out on the deck to the spa - I had the most relaxing stay ever, which is exactly what I needed!! My room, which was spotless, had a fireplace (with a timer). Even though it snowed quite a bit while I was there (late April), I had no trouble reaching the lodge as the roads were treated (and I had planned ahead by renting a 4-wheel drive). Erica at the spa was phenomenal - I had the most amazing deep-tissue m... Read more

With its pine wood beams and really nice bedding (you can choose your pillow softness), this is definitely a comfy hotel, very nice for couples. Get a mountain view room. The view is amazing and a wonderful thing to wake up to. Continental breakfast offerings are a bit spare but sufficient to get you started for a short time.

This was the second time I have stayed at the Lodge at Breckenridge; I am already looking forward to going back again. The hotel is newly renovated and is decorated to accent the incredible mountain views. The views at the lodge are absolutely breathtaking. I only wish we had picked a mountain view room! The staff is super friendly and accommodating; food and drinks are great at the restaurant. Loved my stay more and more every time.

First time at Breckenridge and stayed at the Lodge because of the beautiful view and nice reviews from other customers. It was their mud season when we were there (May) so there were a lot of vacant rooms and Jenna was so kind enough to move us to the room with the best view of the sunset. Thanks, Jenna.

Great lodge style accommodations just outside of town (10 min). Views are amazing, bring your pup and hike close by on Boreas Pass. Shuttle takes you to town if you don't want to drive & park. Nice HT on the deck with amazing star viewing. Rooms were nice, comfy bed, large open porch to soak in the views & fresh air. Very nice property with the convenance of being close to town and privacy of the mountain.

We stayed in the King suite. It was very spacious. The view from our room was amazing. The staff was very friendly. Fireplace in room and kitchenette. There isn't AC which I thought would be a problem since it was 90 degrees both days but at night we opened the windows and had 2 fans. It was very comfortable. Would love to go back and stay in the winter or fall. Beautiful place and decor.

We spent two nights during our vacation, and in two different rooms, as it was some days between the stays. The rooms was nice and clean. Just make sure you don't get the room right besides the ice machine, it made a lot of noice. The included breakfast was nothing special, so on our second stay we drove down to town. A lot of great places for breakfast and cofee! But all in all we think it was great value and a really nice view. The staff was very friendly, and you can order dinner takeaway fro... Read more

The room (one of the most expensive available) was noisy due to proximity to the deck and apparent lack of soundproofing. We had a constant stream of children shrieking, drunken shouting, and even drones flown directly outside our window. Staff was unable to transfer us to a quieter room despite the fact that those rooms were much cheaper. The iron was broken and when we asked the front desk they told us that they could not provide a replacement and could not suggest any other alternatives. Co... Read more

Where do I start? Super friendly and helpful staff, extremely comfortable and convenient, the views are pretty darn special and it's doggie friendly! Our Pointer, Lucy, had a wonderful time and just loved Ms. Karen at the front desk for the yummy doggie biscuits and love she gave her!!! We loved Ms. Karen too! There's a great spot designated for dogs outside, poop bags and appropriate disposal area for used bags. We loved The Lodge and we'll absolutely be back to stay!

The Lodge sets up about a thousand feet above the town of Breckenridge and has awesome views. It is a short 5 minute drive down into town which is a beautiful little town with lots of shops and restaurants. Be aware that Breckenridge is at about 8500 ft. elevation and the lodge is at 10,000 ft. Since we live near sea level, the altitude of the area took some adjustment.

We booked this hotel with it being advertised on numerous sites as being a 4 star hotel. I would rank it about a 3.1 star. It definitely has a great location with a great view. It lacks in convenience. There is no elevator, there is no air conditioning in room and the hotel has a multilevel layout that is confusing. The rooms have probably been remodeled in the last few years, but it still lacks. If you don't mind the lack of convenience then this place is fine, but definitely not 4 stars. Don'... Read more

Had the misfortune to get a "superior" room which just happened to be above a reception hall where a wedding was held. TREMENDOUS volume of frenetic base heavy music, so intense that my partner and I could not use the television and vacated the room to sit in the car in bathrobes to avoid the din. Frankly infuriated that no mention of the wedding booking was made when we checked in. Would never have stayed here had we known.

What makes the lodge is location, location, location. Nestled just above Breck, it feels a world apart but it only 5 minutes from the quaint downtown. On one side you have the mountains and the valley on the other - nothing wrong with that picture. The rooms themselves are okay. Thin walls - you can hear conversations clearly as you walk through a hallway. The lobby itself is cozy. The staff is very good. Included breakfast it a plus, even if it is but basic. Very comfortable. Dog friendly. Spectacular views. Great romantic getaway. Great way to beat the summer heat on the front range. Needs a stop sign or caution sign at exit from property/intersection with Boreas Pass Road. Would be nice if they started to serve lunch on weekends. Beautiful lodge with large rooms (at least our king room) and fantastic views. Restaurant had kind of a limited menu but the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend staying here if you don't mind being away from the hustle of downtown Breckenridge (that was a plus for us). My only real complaint was the breakfast included wasn't very good. More variety and fresher breads, etc would help.

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were a little dated and did not do a great job of sound control (you could hear every door opening and closing.) But, it is a rustic setting so it was not a problem. The view was wonderful - make sure you check out the hot tubs! The restaurant was a pleasant surprise - food was quite good and nice wine selection. The shuttle into Breckenridge was very convenient. We will be coming back during ski season!

The Mountain View was incredible for a summer vacation with the family. I Googled "Hotel with best view" and the Lodge came up. It is by far the nicest view that we saw. Make sure and pick the Mtn view with a balcony. The rooms are clean and fit the name of the hotel, "The Lodge". The Lodge At Breckenridge is my new fave in Breck. Why? Thatâ??s simple. The rooms are fantastic, newly renovated, unlike many resorts and hotels in Breckenridge. The staff may be the friendliest youâ??ll encounter at any hotel or resort. The view is unparalleled in Breckenridge, due to one truth, you canâ??t be on the mountain and have a view of it. Since the lodge is situated across from the mountain, the view will blow you away. I look forward to my next visit!

We arrived during a freakishly warm summer for Breckenridge. Our room was small and right on the parking lot. It did not have A/C as the listing says A/C but we were told on arrival that there are a total of 3 rooms on the property that actually have A/C and ours wasn't one of them. No problem, we'll open the windows and let some air in. Ok, but with the room on the parking lot that meant traffic, voices all night and no privacy. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was OK and dinner marginal.
