Checked in today at Doubletree only to find that our room was so far away from the main lobby that I had to stop several times before getting to our room. I have some mobility issues and the main reason for selecting this hotel was because of the restaurant where we could have dinner and breakfast (breakfast was included in the package I had booked) without going out of the hotel. My husband on enquiring where the restaurant was for dinner this evening and breakfast the next morning, was told ... Read more

Great room in an exellent location. My wife and I were treated so well. We were given an upgrade to king room even though we had booked a queen size room online. Brian at the front desk is amazing. He even gave us the most wonderful cookies to munch on while he quickly took care of our stay details. I will stay here again for sure.

We stayed here after the ski season but just before the summer season hit. The first morning there was no breakfast except plain bagels. Disappointing. The room was comfortable and clean. Linens were fresh. Bathroom was a bit small because the door kept hitting the shower rod but it did what it was suppose to do. Front desk staff were friendly. Pool was small but the fitness room was great! I loved opening the windows and looking out over the town and smelling the fresh air.

Even when not expecting too much, this place sets a new low. Turning on the fan in the bathroom rewarded me with a literal shower of lint that was in my hair, on and in the toilet, and on the floor. Want to take a shower, oh, wait, one would expect to have a shower curtain. Forget that. Want to call the front desk to suggest they send you a shower curtain, well, call and let it ring twenty (20) times before the system cuts you off. Try again and get the same result. My husband and I enjoyed a wknd in Breck and had a fantastic stay. The rooms with clean and big with comfortable beds. We had a great mountain view with a roomy balcony. The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We did some mountain biking and they had a room to store the bikes with easy access. Short walk to Main Street and we can't wait to plan our next visit.

AC Unit was loud and unreliable. Elevators are highly inconvenient. Hilton has NOT kept up this hotel. (Yes on the outside to deceive you)! Also, on the website it makes it sound like their is a free breakfast...but NO there is not!! Definitely a waste of my money!!! On a bright note the staff was very good...not there fault that the corporation won't invest the money to update it!

Had a wonderful time at the Doubletree. The staff was well-trained, friendly, helpful, and made you feel at home. Warm cookies is a big plus and a great location in Breckenridge. Only downside to the hotel is laid out which can't be avoided. Jus make sure you get in the good section. Ask for Zac and he will take care of your "what to do exciting" in Breck.

I used points to book 2 rooms for a family vacation, upon arrival they set us up in 2 king rooms on the 8th floor. A block down a hallway to an elevator to go to the 6th floor, then back a half block to another elevator to take us the rest of the way to 8. All the AC units were non-functioning so they have a temp AC machine in the room with the vent hose piped out the window. The staff was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay and felt pampered as a Hilton Honors member. The hot tubs were nice, and the room was very spacious. The bedding was exceptional. The shuttle was convenient but shut down a little early. But Brian came and picked us up when we missed the last shuttle. Can't beat that kind of service. A few things that could be better. Bigger bathroom, faster elevator, pool was over chlorinated and the echo was bad.

They also have a free shuttle available for main street shopping. They have parking under the hotel which is easy to get in and out of. Like most other reviews - yes the elevators are awkward and yes the portable air conditioner is noisy - but all-in-all the room and bed is a super comfortable. Front desk staff is very friendly and the cookies extra large and good. We were a little surprised at the distance from Main Street - a little too far to walk - so keep this in mind. With hotel rates going thru the roof in Colorado for the summer - this hotel's summer deals offer good value.

We totally regret to choose DoubleTree by Hilton to stay in Breckenridge. The front desk staff (I believe his name was David) was super rude, temperamental and like to argue with guest. Room was clean. We did not use any of the services and amenities. The in-room air conditioner was loud and minimally effective. When you order room service at this hotel, don't be fooled. It's not fresh food. We ordered sandwiches (turkey club, Cesar chicken wrap, etc.) and a fresh fruit plate. We received what could be compared to gas station sandwiches that were old, wet and bad and a fruit plate that was three dried up strawberries and a bunch of grapes. It‚??s not ‚??room service‚?? it‚??s ‚??room delivery‚?? of old, crappy food.

Really nice hotel to visit. I stayed here for a business trip, and found the location very convenient. One thing about the hotel that is important to know is that there are 2 elevators that are split at 6th floor. So if you are staying at levels 7 thru 10, you find yourself taking 2 elevators. The staff were super nice and helpful, with guiding me to find places to see, how to get to places I needed to go, and find shuttles. The were a few people that made the stay extremely friendly. If your room is the 7th level and above, you need to ride the elevator to the 6th floor, make a "tetras" like walk to the other end of the 6th floor to get on an elevator for the floors above. If that would be an irritant, make sure you request a room below. I had a full trashbag on the floor when I first entered the room. The front desk had it removed and eliminated the daily $20 resort fee, which was a very nice response. Overall, the hotel was fine.

I spent a week at the Doubletree Breckenridge in August 2016. Here is some information to help you make the most of your visit. ROOM SELECTION -- The hotel has 10 floors spread over two towers. The Aspen Tower is on the left (if facing the hotel entrance) and the Spruce Tower is on the right. The floors are shaped like a long "U" and look like this l________l. The rooms along the long corridor or the "bottom of the U" all have balconies. The rooms along the ends do not have balconies. The... Read more

I stayed here during July 2016 for a business trip. Room: I stayed in room 651. While it did not have a great view, the room was very nice. It was large and included a king bed, desk, sofa, mini fridge, bar area, closet, and space to move. It would have been plenty of room had my husband and two younger boys stayed with me (assuming the sofa makes into a bed, which I didn't try). Restaurant: I purchased the breakfast package and was not disappointed. The buffet included pancakes, brea... Read more

To start with a positive: the restaurant was fabulous. The dinner was delicious and the chef even came out to chat with us. Very nice. However, the room was a huge disappointment. It was minimally clean. The towels were not replaced. This place gets some quirky complaints and I just wanted to add my two cents after having stayed here for a weekend. There's no A/C. Wow, can you believe it? Yes I can - it's at 9200 ft. We had a floor/room unit that made it bearable the weekend we stayed which was warm for a summer day. Elevators/walking. We stayed on the 9th floor I believe and because the hotel is built into the side of a mountain, there it's a continuous vertical space that can run an elevator from parking to the top ... Read more

Very nice choice for a mid-priced hotel in Breckenridge. Property is as close to downtown as you can get at the price, with a free shuttle service. Breckenridge is a beautiful place. But this property did not complement the city. Changed elevators three times from parking garage to our Hilton honors room with about a block walk between elevators. Dining included a small coffee shop and a small ordinary restaurant. Food service for group meetings was poor - cold food and disorganized service. Expensive regular room rate plus $20 "resort fee". Hampton inns on this trip were better at half the cost.
