One of the cheapest hotels in Boulder and you get what you pay for. Everyone was friendly but the place is dingy. Not filthy but not clean either. Easy to find, plenty of room to park, even a 40'er and an easy going attitude. A good bar, the dark horse is 300' away. I would probably stay again but I wouldn't recommend it to the less adventurous travelers. Ok if you want to save a few $ but If you don't like dingy go elsewhere.

Pros: Pleasant staff, clean room, Walking distance to restaurants and my daughter's dorm. Cons: Haphazard housekeeping, Recurring computer problems at front desk, Continental breakfast lacking eggs, even hard boiled. In my room, hot water came out of the cold tap and hot water came out of the hot tap. The clock radio was broken. The DESK button on the room phone didn't work. Even the print hanging on the wall was 30 degrees askew. On checkout I discovered that despite my announced intention (at ... Read more

My of my have the mighty fallen. Once a top three or four hotel back in the 1980s is now Boulder's worst. The rooms are dingy and look like the 1980s never ended. The service is not good and to make matters worse a guest just blew up a room due to a hash oil accident. This hotel is now where this type of cliental stays for the night. Not good. What a shame. Boulder is such a great town and you can do so much better than this place.

I stayed at this Hotel on April 13 We checked in opened our curtains to find channel 4 news outside our window glass everywhere police tape. We were never warned to talked to when we checked in. Tried to talk to a manager several times but never available. This motel has 80 rooms over half are permanent resident. Very uncomfortable and not safe. I didn't stop trying to reach the manager finally several days later was called back. The manager was very rude. I felt we deserved compensated.... Read more

Couldn't get in anywhere else on grad weekend. If you like 'retro' 70s style, you'll love the Broker. We were happy it didn't rain the night we stayed, given the water stains on the walls in our third floor room. Check-in was a mess. Check-out wasn't any better. The breakfast was similar to a Hampton Inn but they had fresh scrambled eggs ???. Overall - Ugh!

Crappy service. Zero flexibility at front desk regarding early check in (20 minutes early)- would not even look up reservation to even check availability. Front desk simply smiled and said they wouldn't even try. Rooms in poor condition.

Save yourself the trouble and hassle and do not stay here! I could go on and on about the problems we faced here in a one-night stay. For starters, we waited a half hour in line to check-in, only to get to the desk and find out that our room was not ready. Check-in is at 3pm, and it was 3:30pm. The entire hotel is musty and dusty. They claim their rooms are non-smoking, but my room (as well as several of my family members' other rooms) smelled like they had been smoked in at some point. If... Read more

We only stayed 1 night, arriving around 9pm after a long flight, and needing a good night sleep as needed to be away early. That was not to be. We were put on the ground floor by the ice machine and overlooking the car park. We could hear noisy guests and staff outside and inside, and cars parking/driving by. There was a damp smell in the room and the bathroom had not been cleaned satisfactorily (including finding 'hair' in the bath). Pro's-We found the check in staff helpful and we quite liked... Place was nice but very old fashioned. The avocado green has to go. The beds were good and the rooms clean. The free breakfast was just average. Some kid had taken all the muffin tops and the rest of the muffins were there for the taking. The pancake machine was fun

We stayed two nights at this inn... were looking for a cheap rate in Boulder and this is it! We fell in love with the city itself, and the location is very convenient, just minutes from downtown.... The staff is either entirely friendly and commendable or rude... Our first night the check-in staff was curt; second night we had a problem in our room, and the staff (& manager) were exceptional in handling it... they seemed to have had a complete dedication to the well-being of their hotel and g... The building and rooms are in need of renovation, but the location is great and the price is right. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful plus the free breakfast was better than expected with real oatmeal made daily and a cool pancake maker. Downside for us was the air conditioning unit - the room never got fully cooled and it was incredibly noisy (enough to wake me a few times during the night).

The Rodeway Inn & Suites is a very reasonable hotel that includes breakfast. The building is a bit dated. That is, it's an older style of building (very cool) but could use a little upkeep. The beds were good and the rooms clean. Breakfast was average. I really enjoyed the pancake machine.

We were in the area for a softball tournament that had over 800 teams in the area. So, needless to say anything within a 2 hour radius was booked. I looked at reviews online at the time and it seemed doable. Not the case, first room was nasty smelling of pee and mold and smoke, dark, gloomy d├ęcor of 1970's. The bathroom was disgusting with rotted caulking around the entire bathroom floor and around toilet. It actually looked more like mold and mildew. All the walls were brown and stained and ca... We were in town for some shows at Folsom Field and lucked out with this place. If The Spaghetti Factory were a 50 year old Motel, it would look something like this. The room was clean enough and the place even has a pool. Skip the continental breakfast but there's tons of places to go nearby. I'd go back.

Right away I felt at home as I entered the classic western lobby. More importantly, it was 4 or 5 in the evening on a Thursday and I had no room or reservation. Immediately the experienced and friendly staff gave us hope. Though we got the last room after some adjustments by the staff, they also gave us the best deal. The hotel is located between The Dark Horse, a classic pub and student hang out, a McDonald's and a Sprouts. One could get here and chill without driving indefinitely. The ... Read more

Decent place, fair price, good location. Felt safe, and room felt decent (clean, and comfortable). Elevators didn't work, breakfast was continental. Refrigerator, coffee in room. Coffee in lobby. 2 big beds, table and 2 chairs, tv. Wifi worked. Smoking outside in nice sitting area- nice surprise!

It was an old hotel now a Rodeway. Some nice touches from the old hotel but someone shoulf really fix it up with some of the old omnivance. Bathroom sink hot/cold backwards and door handle stuck. They ran out of oatmeal at breakfast and there was a line for the pancake machine that gave two at a time.

I want to give it a higher rating because served it's purpose for $100 a night. Beds, sheets, and all linen were clean and promptly replaced. Water was hot and cable TV always worked. However... we were lucky to stay on the 4th floor where it was not as dirty as all the lower floors. The elevator was broken a lot and smelled really bad in there. EEEKKKK to all hallways, especially the first floor, that reeked an awful old stale dirty wet carpet stench. It consistently looked like ... Read more

When I walked in at midnight, I really was not impressed. This is definitely an older hotel, older furnishings, circa 1970. However, the room was relatively clean (in the areas that mattered). Bathroom was clean but floors showed signs (small chips and cracks) of many thousand uses. Beds were clean and comfortable. I did notice old stains on the wall in the closet area. Minor but helped create an impression of 'dirty.' Internet speeds are average for hotels but works fine. Breakfast was average ... Read more

We enjoyed this old hotel very much! The 1st thing we saw was a Green Bay Packers jersey hanging on the wall in the lobby! How inviting when you're from WI!!! Our room was very comfortable and the staff was great! It used to be the Broker Hotel and we enjoyed our stay with all of the old woodwork and furniture.

I booked this hotel through Priceline express, so I wasn't sure what hotel I would get. It was very reasonable and a great location. It is very dated, but also very clean. All in all it was a good value and I would recommend. The breakfast was decent but the hot tub was way too hot!

very friendly and helpful staff who offered us a 2 room suite for the price of a standard room 'cos the latter had already been sold out for the day - amazing, particularly as we were travelling with 2 children!!! what a great last stay before our flight back to Germany - so thanks again to Terry (sales manager) nice pool, large workout facilities, charming old furniture in the entrance hall, spacious suite with a great view over the Flat Iron Mountains of Boulder, best price in town

The Rodeway Inn was sorta like the Titanic (not the bad way). The Inn was, by all signs, a beautiful place to stay, dark stately woodwork, scenic view of the mountains, even a hair salon. Now imagine that same beautiful ship made in 1912 compared to the newer ships on the sea. It has fallen behind the newer motels and inns BUT my friend the cost is hundreds of dollars less that the other places to stay. I stayed two nights for a little over $200. The others motels cost from $270 to $450 a ni... Read more

This was probably a nice hotel back in the 70's. The room was relatively clean but old and worn looking. The mattress had a sink hole on one side. The faucet in the bathroom sink only ran warm. The carpet was stained and I kept my flip flops on as I didn't want to walk on the carpet. The elevator by the lobby was not working so we used the elevator on the far end of the hotel and hauled our luggage back to the other end of the hotel. Someone in the room next door or above us took a late evening ... Read more

Myself and my cousin Tor stayed at Terrys hotel while attending my nephews wedding in near by Lyons. Terry is the manager of the Broker Inn hotel and really great guy. He made us more than welcome and listening to him and his friends at the pool while having a beer or two made our week a most memorable one. Thanks a million Terry . You see some terrible reviews of this hotel, but reading all of them didn't give me an accurate idea of the place. Yes, the hotel is a little run down, but the fourth floor is largely renovated, to about the standard of a small town Best Western. The lobby is delightful (see pics), and I had no concerns at all about the cleanliness of the room. There was no sign of bedbugs in my room, and I stayed 4 nights. The second floor of the hotel is where the many residents live, you'll pass them as they ... Read more

We recently stayed at the Rodeway hotel and felt that it was conveniently located and a very economical stay. The rooms were very clean as were the pool and hot tub. The halls were a bit stuffy and the hotel could use an update, but I would definitely recommend! The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and Pearl Street is just a few miles away.

We changed rooms once because the beds were so bad. Then I asked for my money back and left. There were bugs on th walls, the phone didn't work to the front desk and the lights didn't turn on. This place is an embarrassment to the University. It needs to be razed and rebuilt. Following this, the Best Western was perfect.

Great location which is easy to find - also close to various eating options. Rooms are basic but this is probably the best price in Boulder. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and large. Breakfast included. Wifi free but service a bit patchy.

Average hotel. Run down but clean rooms. This room was $100 a night which is very overpriced for what you get. This is one of the cheaper places in Boulder however. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was OK. The absolute only complaint is how expensive it is to sleep here for 7 hours. The rooms were quiet and you shouldn't have any problems.

No signage to find the property. Rooms have 20 year old furniture. Room lighting was probably 40 watt bulbs. couldn't read in bed. Free breakfast was awful as waffle machine not working and muffins were frozen. Please find a better spot.
