We found the room to be a little dingy and were woken at 5 am by people in the neighboring room fighting loudly. The staff were very kind and considerate but it did not make up for the uncomfortable situation.

The hotel was nice for the price and I am pleased they offer military discounts. Have stayed at other La Quintas and they all except pets which is another plus for me. They also offer rewards program which is good. Sometimes there is enough time to have their breakfast which is nice.

First of all I myself feel this hotel is over priced. We stayed with points they charged 8000 points I feel it is worth only 6000 points. The room was relatively clean the bathroom was spacious but did not have the bowed out shower rod, so you showered with the curtain sticking to you not what I won't to be doing while I am in the shower. I also got up in the morning went to the front desk to see if I could get some towels to shower with to my surprise the desk person told me I would have to wa... Read more

This was an ok place to stay. room was clean, but there was only 1 chair. When we asked for another chair another chair was brought in. Rooms could use some renovation. breakfast was ok with choices of coffee, juice, waffles fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast, hard boiled eggs. No bacon or sausage.

This hotel was once a good hotel. Now there is new management every other week different housekeeping and not to mention they supposedly don't know the people they hire. I had a guy housekeeper harassing me a female, I told the manager and they had no clue of the housekeeper. Well I later found out from the other housekeeping he was a temp. Very poorly managed and not a safe area.??? the temp that harassed me. If I could give 0 rating I would

The place makes Motel 6 look like a palace-the manager was rude, even when condoms were left in drawer of room. Repairs going on with grinder disturbing guests & no notice of repairs-toxic paint dust is flying all over and into rooms. There is a stair landing that looks like it is possible that it could fail at any time. Saying this is worth more than 6,000 points of my elite point is not right at all. I cannot say how bad LaQuinta was in dealing with the issue. The manager's name is Pete and he... Read more

ADA room, so other rooms may not be comparable. Great staff, location. No refrig/micro in room, computer plug in difficult. Otherwise, very nice. Stay here often when I'm in Denver for business or for family (have family in town as well as business dealings). Good Mexican restaurant just across the parking lot if you're too road-weary to get back in the car and drive somewhere for dinner.

I had a great 3 night stay at the Aurora LaQuinta. My room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very nice and professional. The location is excellent, close to Freeway, shopping and a variety of restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

Not the best place we've stayed at. Dissatisfied with upkeep, and overall maintenance of property grounds. Parking lot was dirty, had a light pole that was flickering at night. Our room was dirty, carpets were stained and needed cleaning, beds were OK, bathroom was in need of a good cleaning as well. Light fixtures didn't work.

Great place to stay! More than clean, affordable, and the staff was professional and friendly. The hotel was also near a major interstate and several convenient restaurants. Really enjoyed my in Aurora, Colorado.

Both sites have been great. Staff very friendly. easy to make reservations, and cancel if need be. Easy check in and out. The outside pools are fun for grand kids at both hotels. They like most children love to swim.

Have been a loyal patron for going on 5 years now. We come several times a year for my lil one to visit Denver Children's Hospital, which this hotel participates in a special discount rate for the families visiting hospital. I was informed during this last trip that the special rate had been increased over $20/night. I believed them and we ended up staying a whole week. On top of this extra expense, the bathroom had mold and mildew on ceiling, tiles, and back of door! And the AC didn't work prop... Read more

Lots of other affordable options in Aurora - I wouldn't stay again. Checked in for three nights for work. Motel was mobbed with summer tourists; kids were screaming at the pool until 10PM each night - low-level noise was constant throughout the night around the grounds and from surrounding rooms. The room seemed adequately clean but well worn (i.e. the grout in the bathroom wasn't especially new, and you didn't feel comfortable walking anywhere in the room in your bare feet). The room was fine. (we did find a piece of chewed gum on the ice bucket). The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. We tried 3 vending machines before we got one that worked. One of the vending machine rooms was pushing 110 degrees. The pool was very dirty, but someone was cleaning it the next morning, so our timing might have been bad. Overall we had a fine stay, but this property needs some TLC.

We were traveling with a dog, so we needed to stay at a dog friendly motel, which La Quinta Inns are. However, the surrounding area had no grass (important for dogs) and the walls were paper thin. We - and the dog - could hear everything going on all the time. It made it difficult for all of us to sleep. Breakfast was okay, but the breakfast room could only be accessed from the outside from the building we were in. It's okay in a pinch, but I would not stay here again given a choice.

PROS Great staff. Brian, Manager, went out of his way to make us comfortable. All members we friendly and corteous, including the security guard. Good location. Convenient to Wal-Mart, Best Buys, and a variety of restaurants. CONS The facility in general is outdated and what is there is mostly run down. The AC was not working when we arrived. All La Quinta's were sold out on the east side of town last week when I made the reservation a few days earlier, so I took this one. We arrived late, about 8:00pm, they were sold out by then. I was very tired and not feeling well. They gave us a room on the south, the far back side. The room key did not work. I went back to the desk; they reprogramed the keys. On try #2, the keys still did not work. Back I went to the front desk. This time they got new keys and the shift manager came with... Read more

I normally like the La Quinta brand and have been a loyalty member for 30 years. This particular location is simply run down and beat up. Also, the bathroom was extremely small which probably explains why the cleaning people appear to have a hard time cleaning it.

I planned a happy vacation for my family. This did not happen. The location of this facility was central to the activities we planned. The pictures of the location did not match up with the actual room. I found that the room was not ready at 3PM like we were told it would be. Good location. Some folks got rowdy in the room above and I believe they were asked to leave. I would like to see more security and/or police patrols. Could use some remodeling and upgrades. I thought the rate was a little high but I am not that familiar with Denver hotels. I did appreciate the handicap parking right in front of my ADA room.

Have stayed here several times. Except for an extreme shortage of electrical outlets to charge the toys in this electronic age, it's a good place. One plus is that it's pet friendly, and for this latest stay, they did not charge extra for our wee furry friend (an elderly cat). At his age, he's not a party animal, and even though there was an occasional barking dog within (his) earshot, it went well.

Good basic hotel. Stayed for week while working nearby. Room was as expected. Good size room and bathroom and had a nice sized table to work at with good internet speeds. No complaints, it fit the bill for what I needed which was a place to clean up after working 14 hours, get some food and a drink, sleep and do it all over again for 7 days. Great Mexican food right next door. Breakfast was limited but cereal, yogurt and fruit was a good healthy start.
