The customer service was excellent at the front desk. We stayed here due to a missed connection at Denver Airport and the free shuttle was very helpful. The lobby is large and impressive. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a tub that was peeling and the door and faucet handles were not in good shape. The room did not have a mini-fridge or microwave and breakfast is not included in the price.

For both business and leisure, we choose this conveniently located hotel. Located close to I-25 and I-225, this hotel is clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. It's reasonably priced and very convenient to downtown and south metro Denver.

My wife and I have stayed in the Doubletree in Aurora for over a week twice, once in February and our current visit in May. We have enjoyed many things about this hotel and have made friends in the dining room, front desk and housekeeping. Its personnel are first class. So it pains me to tell you that we will not be back because the in-room WI-FI connection is maddening. On the sixth floor, the HHonors floor, it is often completely unavailable and always unstable. I came to Aurora because my brother is very ill. My first night here, I ordered room service, Patti delivered it and asked why I was in town, when I couldn't get the words out, she asked if everything was ok, I said no and started to cry. She hugged me and was extraordinarily kind. A couple of hours later she brought me a cheesecake and pot of tea on her, to see how I was doing. I applaud a hotel who puts people first! And all the amenities are top of the line. Very comfortable bed, clean and mo... Read more

Loved the open, well lit lobby on arriving at the hotel. Nice to have a covered place to park while checking in. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient - even offered an extra cookie! Room was spacious and clean. Wish that I has asked if it was facing I-225 though. Made for a little bit of noise but not so much that it kept me awake. I had a problem with my shower handle - called it in before I left for work and it was fixed by the time that I returned. Very nice restaurant and bar. ... Read more

Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was quite pricey. $15.00 for a buffet? $7.00 for my 6 year old. The other guests in the hotel were a bit rude. Very noisy in the halls. Very close to restaurants and easy to access from the interstate.

Nothing above or below average for this hotel. Free parking is a plus. Indoor pool may be great in winter but not-so in June. Lobby store is outrageously expensive (over$3.50 for a coke). Small lobby bar. The diner has average food and tired buffet at expected prices. Rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. No surprises. A decently priced hotel that neither over nor under delivers.

The DoubleTree Hotel is a nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The lobby restaurant areas are nice with a modern feel. The room was somewhat outdated with carpeting that appeared soiled and older. The room had no refrigerator which is something I look for on a lengthy stay. The bed was comfortable but the floor needs professional carpet cleaning. Stains were on many places as well as a few crumbs. Shoes were kept on. Room service breakfast was prompt and the meal adequate.

I enjoyed the hotel experience, just like Double Tree's high standard treatment of customers at other hotels, they did not disappoint at this location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was extremely friendly, and the rooms were very comfortable. For the dollar to satisfaction ratio, you can't find a better deal in the area.

My husband and I are visiting our daughter in Colorado. In order to disrupt her life a little less, we decided to stay at a hotel. I booked our reservation on Priceline.com. ($81/night for 3 nights) When we arrived, Aric checked us in. He was very gracious and kind. Bed was comfortable, but breakfast was not included, and one breakfast buffet was $15 + $3 tip . . .sort of steep for what it was. Cookies were delicious. Stayed here because it was close to family we were visiting and easy to get to. Check-in was smooth and personnel helpful entire time we were there. Hotel needs an update badly, and we learned one is planned. Disappointed the pool wasn't available (closed because of problems) except for our last evening there. That is one thing we always look for when making reservations. It was too much trouble to move to another hotel. Our stay was enjoyable otherwise, and we look forward to staying ther... Read more

We arrived in Denver super late and I called the hotel to make sure that I had a room once I landed. The reception was very friendly and told me that I was all set (I had chosen a room online a couple of days in advance). This hotel is about 25-30 minutes away from the airport and downtown Denver without traffic. Note that it is somehow easy to miss if you are arriving at night. It hides in a residential area (>.<) Upon arriving, we were greeted with a nice warm receptionist and a couple of hot... Read more

We were disappointed in our visit to the Doubletree Hotel this year. We spent our wedding night at this hotel eleven years ago and to celebrate our wedding anniversary we have come back nearly every year since. In the past the hotel staff has done special things like left us happy anniversary cards, complimentary champaign, and/or complimentary chocolate covered strawberries just to make our special day just a little more special. This year our visit was just average. It wasn't bad but it wasn't... Read more

Hotel is fairly typical of many DoubleTree's I've experienced lately. Staff is helpful and courteous, rooms were clean and rates competitive. You also have access to typical large hotel amenities of restaurant, bar, pool, business lounge. However, seemingly a pattern, DoubleTree's interior design and ambiance fails again. Updates to the lobby included a water wall feature not working, floating composite flooring which has sagging spots (significant in front of the elevators) and rooms with smal... Read more

When I arrived 2 out of 3 elevators worked. By the second day of my stay only 1 elevator was working. I had to tote a 9 month old fussy baby up and down the stairs for 2 days and then on my check out day the elevators still did not work and I was forced to carry the baby a large luggage bag and back pack down several flights of stairs. This was not what I was expecting from such a beautiful hotel. And on top of that the housekeeper NEVER changed the sheets not 1 time even though they got staine... Read more

In all fairness, based on conversations with the hotel staff, this property is scheduled for a complete remodel and upgrade beginning fourth quarter 2016.
