Stayed here two times, 1st in 2013 and the second time in April 2016 as a gateway to the Rockies ! The place is nice and inviting, the beds are very comfy and the room was spotless clean. The bar is open late and you can enjoy your drink playing pool on the good table.

This an attractive hotel, very modern and original in style, near the Denver Airport. The staff are friendly and helpful. A small bar and restaurant have a decent selection of food and drink that is good quality and reasonably priced.

I would have given this hotel 3 stars if they would have had a nice bed and nice bedding. Actually the double Queen we had,... one of the beds would have been almost unable to sleep on period. The other one was just bearable (if you turned frequently), and the one we did sleep on. -.5 pts. There were birds chirping in a nest outside of the window the entire night. Coupled with freeway traffic, or traffic from Pena Boulevard, we got absolutely no sleep. So took off another half point. Very ge... Read more

If you want to stay close to the airport, this really isn't the best option. It was over 10 miles away. Their shuttle picks up from like 4 other hotels and takes over 30 mins to get to airport. Hotel itself was fine.

Friendly, helpful staff.....nice rooms with a great mattress and pillows. Superior good night's sleep. Great amenities across the board. Had a king room overlooking the landing strip so watched jets land all night. Gray night

It takes more than one strike for me to post a negative review, and our stay garnered about six strikes. 1. Confusing thermostat/wall unit that was not working. 2. The showers have terrible leaks. I see the same problem from countless other reviews on here. The puddle of water was still there the next morning. 3. Dried splatters on the walls, beat up trim, and super gross bathroom floor grout. 4. Wi-Fi issues and the alarm clock wasn't even set right. 5. Sliding door for the bathroom leaves... Read more

Great hotel located close to Denver airport. The front desk staff was extremely accommodating in our request for a late checkout. The hotel is in gateway park and there are a couple restaurants at a walking distance. Hotel offers complimentary shuttle to the airport but its shared by 4 hotels in the area so sometimes can be full so plan ahead. Typical aloft rooms but with extremely friendly staff!

I was here recently for a quick stay because I had a 6AM flight out of DIA the next morning. Shuttles to the airport are easy enough - just ask the front desk to schedule you one. Maybe a 10 or 15 minute ride to the airport, so it's super quick in the morning. Lobby and rooms are pretty modern looking, nothing to complain about. As others mentioned, the thermostats are odd, but my room was fine temperature wise. Bed was comfy. Pretty good array of breakfast items (including burritos!), which ar... Read more

Went on my business trip to Phoenix but my flights all came late at night so stopped twice here. It was very cold to say the least. However, I managed to still get a great room. There is a nice steakhouse nearby and the van there was amazing taking me to and from airport and to the steakhouse to order. I can't imagine where I would go with this price and the location near the airport and the free shuttles created a great experience for me despite the cold weather.

Checked into aloft on June 22nd for a short 1 day stay for a business meeting. Hotel is a W chain so decor is modern and rooms are up to date and quite nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful, specifically Alexis and Thomas, as this was the first time we've been to Denver. Bartender that night was also very friendly and outgoing. Will be travelling back to Denver on business a couple more times this year and without a doubt will be staying here. Thanks to the Staff (especially Alexis an... Read more

Alexis was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, hip and inviting. they have option to park while you are out of town which is really cool. I was impressed with the media hook up board, first time I have seen this, but a great idea!

Innovative room layouts, lobby area, and breakfast make this an innovative interesting place to stay. It feels modern here. Outdoor furniture is dated, already. I do love the Aloft experience, even as an "older" traveler, this is welcoming to me. The rooms and beds are exceptionally convenient for all the digital connections and chargers I travel with for work. Love window desk. Overall, just very thoughtfully designed, and much better than pedestrian "garden" hotels.

Jesse the bartender had the idea to "take over" the taps and serve flights of Avery Brewing beers. It was really fun and a great way to sample new beers without having to drink 5 or 7 pints. Neat idea, and I'll be sure to see what's happening next at this hotel, next time I'm in town.

We are in the Aloft Hotel in the middle of Downtown Denver. The Boutique Hotel us priced right for this beautiful city. Best of all....great amenities....for example...a awesome bar. Relaxing environment, hot bartender, great drinks and delicious appetizers. Best of all, right in the middle of the Convention District.

We were in the ALoft one night before take of to Vail, CO. We got to the hotel around 11pm, Alexis at the front desk was very helpful and extremely nice. She also helped us to find a great breakfast place in downtown Denver. We had a great stay there. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel for sure. Rooms are new, modern and great decor. Staff was friendly and I got a great rate from hot wire so I was excited to try this upscale hotel. Cons: The airport shuttle was a disaster. I waited 25 minutes for a shuttle and when it arrived it was full and they turned away 4 people. We were told to go to the other side of the terminal since it stopped there first in order to get a seat in another 30 minutes. I called to complain and the manager did send a cab which was appro... Great style but food choices are limited as no restaurant and food on hand is unhealthy. If you're spg member stay here and all hotels nearby have good kitchens with hot meals and clean eats. Overall the rooms are nice with fridges. Good for one night stay .

Jesse was such a great bartender. He just has such a great way with people. He was very informative about the area and truly made us feel at home at the Aloft. The hotel is immaculate with a real cool decor. We will be back for sure. Definitely a 5 star in my eyes

Aloft Denver has Darien welcoming new and returning businessmen, airline personnel and families with equal warmth, patience and when need be, humor! He fixed everything from my Starpoints Rewards password to late check-out snafus to getting the TV remote replaced later in the evening! Great rooms, green housekeeping and a pool table to boot, but Darien is what made our stay wonderful!

Pros include the modern decor, newness of property, bed and tv arrangement. I really liked the fitness room which included some free weights which is rare. The lobby area is super cool. Cons included things other have mentioned. Weird ac unit which was temperamental. Staff at check in could have been warmer. Overall it was somewhere between average and slightly above average.

Had a very understanding and welcoming staff. Jesse, the bartender, gave excellent service and pointed us in the right direction for our interests. James is the hostess w/ the most-ess. Clean rooms, with a cool, modern, relaxing feel. They have a nice assortment of snacks, things you may have forgotten, etc accessible 24/7.

i stayed at this hotel for a 3 day training seminar and the best i can say is that it was, ok. The service wasnt bad, but it was only average. These days if i am going to return to a hotel i expect amazing service and treatment. The hotel was seeming a bit dated and old looking. Overall i have to say it was kept clean, and the beds were comfortable. The meeting spaces were ok, but the food service that we ordered was not the best i have had. Very small room, no dresser drawers. Tiny closet area w/ low coat rack so suit coat was wrinkled, t.v. didn't work, shower caused water to pool in the bathroom floor, no ice makers, lobby had baggies of ice. 3 out of 4 evenings, lobby no ice and front desk was rude.

Rooms are well appointed and clean. Decor is up to date and has a swimming pool for those who want it. Convenient for the airport but still eight miles away. Facilities are limited, a grill and a snack bar which is very basic. Good value for money for what it is.

The hotel is somewhat expensive for what you get ($181 for a Monday night). We did get an early check-in because we arrived early from Colorado Springs. The day staff is much more helpful than when we came in after mid-night on a Sunday.

This was my first time staying in an aloft hotel. Upon entering this modern and whimsical establishment there was a casual and funky lounge, a well stocked bar with several varieties of alcohol, and even a pool table which I thought was a nice touch. The room was very modern which included a comfortable king sized bed and a glass walk-in shower. The wireless internet was free but continuously dropped off every other minute. The hotel was situated within a short walk to several restaurants. ... Read more

This was my first bad experience with Aloft and SPG. My flight was delayed several hours, I called the hotel to advise them that I would arrive after 1am so they would not give my room away or consider me as a "no-show." The girl that answered the phone was very rude, I thanked her for her help and I got a "yup" *click* and she hung up. To add to the already negative first impression of the hotel, when we arrived the guy working behind the reception desk seemed upset that he had to set down his ... Read more

Stayed here after 1 week camping so could fly out of Denver airport in a.m. The hotel is in a little hotel village -- so you can pick from many options right there. To a large extent it comes down to your preference on price and design. We had a good experience here - clean, cool design. Pluses for us were - a self serve washer dryer! Not necessary for business travel but allowed us to wash one load so we (couple plus child) had something clean to wear on the airplane! Nice snack selection... Read more
