The Inn at Aspen is exceptional in terms of accommodations, convenience, and service. The staff is warm and welcoming and willing to go above and beyond to make your stay extra special. The rooms were nicer than anticipated and the lobby, pool and all common areas seemed to be recently remodeled and top of the line. The on-site dining was delicious, as well as the complimentary hot breakfast. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Aspen during any season. Thank you to the Inn!

We just ended a great 6 day stay at the Inn at Aspen. Great location for kids skiing, right on buttermilk; very friendly staff, front desk (Laurie) and shuttle drivers (totally awesome - Ronnie), clean and very quiet. Our room was nicely remodeled with excellent WiFi. We also spent a lot of time in the awesome hotel lobby and ate once at McKenney's restaurant. The pool was open all days. Highly recommended for family with young skiers looking for the most affordable hotel in Aspen proper. Sup... Read more

Only spent one night there but was thoroughly impressed. I was concerned that the rooms would be dated. They had clearly been recently updated, along with the lobby area. It is not a 5 star hotel by any means, but it is clean, convenient and staffed with very helpful people. We used the shuttle to get to Aspen for skiing as well as dinner and found it very convenient. We didn't use the ski lockers but they were right next to the entrance so it is very easy to store your gear at the end of t... Read more

I stayed at the Inn at Aspen for what was suppose to be 3 nights but ended up to be 4 due to a sever snowstorm that closed not only the Aspen airport but even the Denver airport. Needless to say, flight schedules were a mess as passengers scrambled to find alternate routes. I was on the phone for hours with multiple travel agents/customer service reps. The staff at the Inn were generous enough to get me to the airport and back 4 times in their private van because the shuttle was delayed on po... Read more

Stayed at The Inn at Aspen late May 2016. Probably one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. Everyone from General Manager to ladies in restaurant were some the friendliest employees that I have met. Highly recommend this hotel. This will be the only place that I stay the next time I am in Aspen. Roger

This place was on point with the previous reviews!! It was an amazing getaway for me and my husband!! The service was great the Hotel was clean and tidy, the food was wonderful, the view was amazing, the bar was awesome and the GM at the Bar was wonderful. Our standards may differ from others but for us these accommodations were to our standards and I'm a Hotel Brat so with that said we enjoyed our stay!! I've stayed at the Inn at Aspen several times and I really like it. The staff is great. The food is pretty good at the restaurant. They will give you a ride to downtown Aspen. I actually like that it's on the edge of town out of the madness.

nitially the plan was to camp out, but the campgrounds were either completely full, or were closed due to bear activity in the area. Knowing that it was 4th of July weekend and it'd be impossible to get a room if we waited any longer, I quickly searched around, and used the hotel tonight app to find a room. Just to verify the availability and the pricing, I called the hotel, I was placed on hold several times, and didn't reach someone. I finally was able to get ahold of someone at the desk, wh... Not exactly the type of review you expect to write on vacation..........The Staff at The Inn at Aspen were Class all the way. We loved our room, but due to a medical condition, I needed to go to ER, and was admitted. They assisted us in EVERY way imaginable , shuttling, packing a breakfast for my husband, sent lovely flowers to the hospital! We just did not feel like traveling strangers in a bad situation, Thank God! They were so kind, and caring. Would love to go back and actually enjoy the... Read more

While most people think Aspen as being at the base of the gondola, my wife and two children and I choose to be slightly outside of the fray at the Inn at Aspen which couldn't have been a better spot for us. The hotel has been recently renovated in the lobby restaurant and most rooms. The staff were incredibly helpful, courteous and genuinely cared about our stay. While the rooms are simple, the proximity to the mountain, the lobby and the super convenient driver to and from Aspen was perfect. ... Read more

It is the typical ski lodge type place but the beds are comfy, the rooms kept clean (aside from the odd stain) and they are big. The staff was great although the bartender seemed a little abrupt. Decent breakfast and great view! Sat outside for breakfast one morning to see 4 deer run across the field opposite me. For Aspen this really is a good deal!

I visited in the summer during a busy weekend. My room was ground level and facing one side of the pool. There was a back door leading out to the lawn and pool area but it was quite secure when locked. The bathroom was clean. The staff at the front desk was helpful and accommodating. The shuttle service was quite convenient for getting into the main area of Aspen and back. The local bus is located nearby and is free for local travel. We stayed for about 6 days. Let me tell you the employees here are professional, thoughtful, helpful, you name it. They make you feel like you are at the St. Regis or The Nell. The Inn at Aspen probably offers even better service than those 5 star resorts. We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay. Our room was large and comfortable - 2 queen beds, a giant TV and large bathroom. It was on the 1st floor, had a balcony and overlooked the car park. As it was after 8pm when we arrived, we decided to eat at the bar on our first night. That was lovely and very lively - a country band was playing and there was lots of dancing. Breakfast was included too, though that was a little disappointing; I appreciate that it was self service - with coffee, tea, juices... Read more

While the location is good the remainder leaves a lot to be desired. Breakfast is an unhealthy assortment of lukewarm eggs, frozen hash browns and other assorted items which are rarely refilled. Coffee is undrinkable. The rooms need an updating badly. One day our bed was made and the bath not cleaned, no fresh towels. There is a computer room and the printer did not work . The shuttle service is great and the staff is pleasant. Better places to stay in this lovely town

The higher rating for this hotel must be because it is clean and it is priced lower than higher end options in town. There isn't a standard Hampton Inn or Marriott choices in town and for two nights it didn't makes sense to splurge on better local hotel choices (I'm used to splurging and would do so if three nights or more). Good hotel. Heated pool, big hot tub, friendly staff. Good value and clean, quiet for a family of 4. Nice outdoor fire pit. Overall a great stay. Our room was comfy and the beds were comfy. Nice little balcony for the room we had (2230). I wish the small sofa in the room was a pullout bed, but no big deal that it was not.
