Hotel location was very convenient for us. Great bed and room. Breakfast was terrible. Ran out of hot food 1/2 hour before close. No choice for hot food. Refrigerator in room froze all of our water and wine. For the price I won't be staying here again.

I should have gotten his name - but he was so pleasant to work with at the customer service desk - all at the receptionist desk were nice, no complaints with the room, we spent 8 nights there - and was happy with the space of the room - breakfast was good, they changed the menu up a little everyday, and saved us money every day in the long run. I would diffidently use this Hotel again when we return to Sonoma/Mendocino wine country, its a perfect location to stay.

This was the nicest Hampton I have ever stayed at! The room was very large, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed he complementary breakfast both mornings. The selection varied each day, my daughter is a vegetarian and found some choices each day. The front desk was very helpful and check in and our was very smooth. The hotel is not necessarily close to downtown Sonoma, but we found plenty of vineyards! Trust me on that!

We staid at this hotel in May and it was a nice surprise off the beaten path in Wine country: friendly staff, clean amenities, good size rooms. Our initially assigned room was a bit noisy (close to freeway on one side of the hotel), and front desk staff on duty (Alex) went above and beyond to find us a better room. Although the hotel is a bit "off the beaten path", we found with pleasure that Healdsburg and Santa Rosa were very close on the 101 fwy. Everybody was professional and pleasant to sp... Read more

This hotel is right off the freeway and walking distance to coffee, banks, convenience store. Stayed here 4th of July weekend and it was the perfect spot to go north to the wineries and south for the gratin casino. It was a $10-15 ride to geyserville and Healdsburg. Upon Checkin were cookies and a free wine tasting from a local winery, trione (which we visited the next day). Rooms were fine and bathrooms were big. Would stay here again

Spent a couple of nights here on business. I was sharing a room with a coworker and when I checked in I was told our room had been "upgraded" to a suite. Great! And then I found out that our "upgrade" changed our original two queen beds to a king and a sofa bed. No thank you! Not interested in sleeping on a sofa bed or sleeping with my coworker. This hotel was fine, nothing spectacular. I would expect a little more for the price. The room was small, but clean. They do have a double queen option which was nice for us traveling with kids. The bed was fine, along with the linens and pillows. The AC unit was loud! I think I woke up every time it turned on. The complimentary breakfast was good for a quick bite to eat. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. We did not get to use the pool but it had a nice look and feel.

It's a Hampton. It's not going to be a 5-star hotel, but this rates as a "Trip Advisor 5-Star" simply because it's a great value for the area. Easy, easy access to the highway means you can hit either Santa Rosa, Healdsburg or points west within minutes. Weekend rates are outrageously high, but I learned this is a popular place to stash out-of-state guests for area weddings and is therefore usually sold out on weekends. At last minute I switched reservation here since another TA reviewer liked it over the HGI Sonoma airport, I wasnâ??t let down. Hotel is right off freeway and easy to find. 5pm one night midweek stay, check in took a minute and got freebees at front desk for hilton gold. First floor king suite very convenient, room big and spotless, and guest laundry was at end of hall. Hotel looks new, plenty of outdoor seating for people to enjoy wine they had brought back from vineyards and nice pool as ... Read more

The wife and I stayed here 3 nights for a family wedding and it met every expectation we were looking for. It was clean, big enough, free breakfast and easy to find. I'm a hotel shower guy and this one was ok, nothing to rave about but nothing to whine about either. I don't stay in Hampton Inns very often, but was pleasantly surprised to see some different options every day for breakfast. Maybe they do this all the time all over, but it was nice to get a different base of food in me before c... Read more

Room walls were very thin. I could hear people leaving out the exit all night long. I requested a top floor room or one with a better location, but was given one facing the parking lot on the first floor.

This is probably one of the best values in an area with a dirth of hotels. It is consistently good. The staff are very courteous and the location is excellent for the Russian River and Dry Creek wineries.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn on Friday and Saturday, November 4th and 5th. We checked in about 4 o'clock. The lady working the front desk was efficient. And, she provided us with information on dining options. And, more importantly informed us of the wine event that weekend. And, how to check for wineries not participating. Our room was in a quiet location. We faced the outdoor pool. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was decent. I like it when they serve homemade oatmeal vs the ... Read more

Great location for visiting Sonoma Valley. Close to most wineries. Right off of Hwy 101 but no noise from the freeway. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also close to some wonderful restaurants in the area. About a 30 minute drive from Napa. Will definitely stay here again.

I recently moved away from Windsor after 25 years living here but I had business for a few days in a town before the holiday and I live over two hours away. I decided to skip commuting 3 days in a row and find something reasonable but convenient. I checked in at the front desk with Reggie who was very friendly and courteous as he oversaw the platters of fresh cookies on the counter that I initially resisted. He told me all the amenities that were available with free Wifi and a great breakfas... Read more

Perfect location for wine tasting. Great restaurants nearby, and close to grocery shopping too. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning a wine tasting vacation in the Russian River Valley. Staff is great, and the rooms are clean and roomy.

I stayed here on a business trip to Windsor. The place was very large. My reservation was exactly as I had scheduled. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient at check in. My room was spacious and clean, with a large shower and comfortable mattress and pillows. I believe that if you get a room on the highway side of the property that there could be a bit of traffic noise. They do include breakfast with your room but I was unable to try it as I had to leave before 6:00 am. I was ver... Read more
