Valet was prompt, receptionist kind and efficient, and room service, too. We enjoyed our room and stayed for 1 night. It is quiet and had everything we needed, plus a modern decorated suite. We took Uber in the evening and a close drive to everything in West Hollywood.

I wanted to stay in a cool hotel in LA and found this hotel recommendation online. For a good price, I got the first floor near the entrance and the window was to the street which I had to close for privacy and open for light. Service was good. The pool on the rooftop was nice though I didn't have time to enjoy it. It is rather small and there's no spa. I love the view on the rooftop though! One setback was there are cabs on the street or people near the front entrance smoking. The smoke wou... Read more

For a last-minute trip for which I needed to stay just a night near Beverly Hills I booked this hotel. The price was right and for all of 9 hours it was fine, but the hotel is not one to which I'd voluntarily return. There was a musty odor in the hallways, the sheets were wrinkled when I arrived (though apparently clean, at least I hope), there was an old window-unit AC that rattled, and overall it just felt like a cheap hotel that had some cheap finishes to try to give it a Deco appearance.

While I like the concept and I know where they were going, they missed the mark on this revamp. I was on the 3rd floor and I had a street view room that was nice but the floor was so uneven that you felt like you were going to tip over. Our room had a fireplace, but I think they were trying to squeeze in too many ideas. The bathroom was nice and I got a good night's rest. On the bright side, it is close to the many eateries and bars and the pool and views from the pool were very nice. They get an... Read more

In town six nights, landed room 404, comfortable back of the house suite with decent views. Easy five minute walk to legendary Whisky a Go Go where Los Labious, Europe's top rock n roll band headlined great concert. Mystery Pier Books, where Johnny Depp, Liam Neeson, Bono and the likes find rare first editions, is crammed with original movie scripts and volumes signed by bespoke authors. Stayed in a one bedroom with a girlfriend and our daughters. The room was great! An older building but clean and quirky. The pool is excellent and the food was great! Especially the fries!! The staff was very friendly. Our car was always ready and waiting. Any request from housekeeping was quickly arranged.

I visit Le Montrose for work - and each time I visit, it is a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, while the rooms are beautifully comfortable. Not only can you receive a free upgrade .. they also have THE MOST comfortable mattresses I have ever been on. With HBO and a big comfy bed with down comforters .. it really makes the jet lag worth it..!

Great room, huge, modern and clean. The staff was warm and friendly. The rooftop pool is fantastic with views of LA that can't be beat. A bar and menu service means you can stay there all day. Would stay again for sure. Location is residential so it's a long walk or a quick uber to sights like Beverly Hills and Griffith Observatory.

I was on another business trip to LA and prices were through the roof. I got a Priceline Express deal for 185 plus tax. The Room: beds are super comfortable. There is a split level sitting area with a fireplace and couches which I thought was cool. My view was on the backside of the hotel so nothing doing. It's a bit annoying that there's no tv in the living area but it's not really a big deal. The fridge comes fully stocked - even with our NY favorite hometown beverage - Snapple! The bathroom... Visited the Le Montrose Suite Hotel in June for 2 nights. The rooms here are really spacious, with a large lounge and bedroom area. I believe there are larger one bedroom apartments too but regardless I don't think anyone would be disappointed with the space on offer here. Rooms were clean, modern with everything you need for a short stay. Be aware that the parking here is $40 per night that's the only reason I have given this 4 stars. I travelled here with my family of 5 and stayed in a one bedroom suite. Our youngest is 15 and all five of us were able to fit comfortably in the room. This is one of the only hotels we could find that were able to accommodate for a family bigger than four and for a great price! The hotel is just a short walk from Sunset Boulevard and from places to eat. The area is very nice and the staff were incredibly accommodating. The rooms are modern and have everything you will need. Our room was very spacious and cozy. There is a full living room, bedroom, and large bathroom. We booked through Travelzoo and they gave us a free room upgrade when we arrived. Even if you don't swim, go have a drink on the rooftop pool. There is the most amazing view from up there! The staff was very friendly. We left something behind and they were willing to ship it to us. It is in an easy location to hop in an Uber and go anywhere in Hollywood/Beverly Hills.

They give free WIFI, but if you want to use for anything you'll have to pay. The free breakfast buffet ticket they give you looks great, But what you get is Coffee and stale roll. Show up early; the room that they have will cost an extra $100.00. There is no parking and if you pull up in front of the Hotel and leave the car to an attendant and you don't catch his attention .They'll tow your car- $300.00. We recently stayed at Le Montrose Suites for a two week stay in L.A. that was part business to attend the Produced By conference part leisure. The hotel also hosted a series of meetings for our delegation over the following five days after the conference, and then the remainder of our stay was tourist based. The hotel's staff were exceptional towards all members of our group. The first day we arrived we had a magical experience poolside on the roof where we were looked after brilliantly by Maeve... This was our second visit to this gem of a little place just off Sunset Blvd. In a quite side street, the service on arrival is superb, the location hard to beat and the pool deck on the fish floor with its views over Hollywood fantastic. Nice, small boutique hotel in a great location in West Hollywood. Quiet street, only a few blocks south of Sunset Blvd. Staff greeted us each time we left or returned, and valet always asked if we needed directions when he brought us our car. Building appears to be a former apartment building and we had a wonderful view of downtown LA from our balcony. Rooftop pool also has a great view. My wife and I chose to stay for seven days at this hotel as the first stop on our honeymoon. Whilst we had done some research online, we were both pleasantly surprised when we actually arrived here. I've been told the building was originally an apartment complex that's been reconverted to a boutique hotel. The size of the rooms would certainly reflect that, being as spacious as they were. We certainly had the space to stretch out without steeping on each other's toes. Conveniently located only... Read more

I was a little confused when entering my room. Room 317 doesn't have any drawers where you can put your clothing. Called down to ensure I wasn't crazy- and they seemed just as surprised after inspecting my room. Offered me a different room, but I stayed in mine. The bathroom has two light options - one with a loud fan, and one with an even louder clicking timer. If you want to quietly visit the bathroom while your partner is asleep, you'll wake them up. Beautiful hotel in a quiet neighborhood yet within walking distance to night life, restaurants and shopping. The room we stayed in was fantastic with separate living and bedroom areas. Also has small kitchen area and balcony. West Hollywood is a great area but the more "touristy" areas are within a short walk or drive. Would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again!!

Location is amazing, just a short stroll from the amazing Sant Monica Blvd which is filled with awesome bars, cafes & heaps of organic fresh juice and acia bowl places. Santa Monica, Hollywood Blvd and Universal Studios are all a short $6 uber ride away. We were in a deluxe King suite here. The room it self is great, however the whole hotel has a very stale smell about it which you immediately get used to, so it's not too bad. Staff a really helpful too which is good.

The best part about my staycation here was the room. It was laid out so nicely, and spacious, and I loved the balcony. I lucked out in that I could see this hotel being loud due to its location with partiers but not when I stayed there. I was however directly next to their gym, and unfortunately the one day someone decides to run a marathon on a hotel treadmill was just when I was trying to unwind.
