"i want to start of by saying that on 12 /10 i booked a hotel stay thru BOOKING.COM and my experience with that site went great, no issues, great pricing. However this recent booking i did with your site BOOKIT.COM was disappointing, frustrating and over all a not so good experience. I was definitely pulled in for the 88 or 99 hr sale which featured a hotel closer to my destination and was a better upgrade than my usual hotel thru BOOKING.COM.
so i chose the hotel and the room which was labeled as 'GUEST ROOM SPECIAL RATE' priced at a discount of $88 versus the regular $139. the picture of my potential room was what won me over a great nights sleep in an elegant room looked wonderful. i made the reservation for 2 adults and my baby boy which didn't appear on the itinerary (no biggie) so i prepaid thru PAYPAL and assumed all would go as planned and paid for....
NOPE i arrive with and apparently there was a ISSUE with checking me in, never was told what that was, but was told not to worry i could be able to go to a room...an older room with a king size bed for me and my mom and my baby? uh no not gonna work, they move me to a different room...a down graded two bed room where the visible WEAR AND TEAR was obvious...Im so tired from my 3 hr drive from San Diego i decide to deal with it in the morning since i had a unplanned change and now had both my boys 2 and 7 months and my mom who was suppose to babysit wasn't gonna check-in til 9pm that night.
The final issue was when i go to check out they charge me for my stay on a different card even tho i prepaid? oddly enough the total was$ 76 bucks...that's when i knew i definitely didn't get what i asked nor prepaid for....seems like false advertising"
