Very convenient and quiet. Great area to relax before taking the ferry to San Francisco. I highly suggest you stay here for the convenience and the hotel. There are nice restraints, especially LUNA and great walks.

I can only assume that The Lodge doesn't accommodate many professionals on business, because their amenities and hours do not fit the needs of a working schedule, i.e. the fitness center is inaccessible until 7am. The rooms and facility was generally clean but musty, which I can only assume is. The product of being so close to the water. The staff was friendly, the food okay, and location is close to many restaurants and local businesses.

Overall we had a good experience. Hotel room was nice, hotel staff seemed to have very high attention to detail, but we never received our breakfast ordered the night before which was sort of a bummer. They never picked up our breakfast order from our door.

When we visit the Bay area several time a year, we always stay at the Lodge at Tiburon since a family wedding a few years ago. The location is beautifully unique and the hotel very comfortable. The rooms are nicely furnished having been redone fairly recently. The food at the Tavern is always tasty and attractively presented. The staff is consistently helpful and attentive. Special kudos to Joanne at the front desk who went out of her way to make sure our stay was exceptional. She made an outst... Read more

We absolutely love this hotel. I've coming to Tiburon since childhood. My wife and I enjoy using this location as our private "get-away". We brought friends with us to share the experience...they loved it. We loved being within walking distance of the market, bank, restaurant, shops, and the beautiful ocean views. We absolutely love the hotel...we've been coming there for years. We now live in Arizona; please know that when we come home...we will be staying at The Lodge. One more thing...the res... Read more

Visited over memorial day weekend.Well maintained updated hotel. Free parking and internet. Friendly staff . Hotel is located right on Tiburon blvd, about a block from the waterfront. The co-located restaurant Tiburon Tavern seemed quite busy, but we did not eat there. Lots of eateries close by within walking distance.

For 200-300 per night I usually expect things to be pretty close to flawless especially outside of a metropolitan area. Now tiburon might be bubble of high cost so this is in line with the local costs. The room cleaning happens super late. (Only after we called ). I'm just not accustomed to that. If you don't mind walking the stairs to the second floor, they have a nicer view of the pool. The DVD player was broken in our room so our attempt at watching a movie (since they dont have st... I have been traveling to Tiburon every 3 weeks for 13 years. I have literally spent hundreds of nights at this property so I feel I have excellent experience on which to speak. Looking at the hotel it was likely built in the 40‚??s or 50‚??s. It has been renovated a number of times. I believe the most recent major renovation was in the past 5 years. It was tastefully done. The majority of the rooms have ‚??exterior‚?? entrances like an old motel would have. If this property were in the Ea... Read more

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Great location. Convenient parking included. Resturant attached. It would have been nice if the resturant would give a discount for those staying at the lodge since they are owned by the same company. Resturant wait staff not as friendly as the lodge with slow service, but food was prepared well and delicious. Easily can walk anywhere in the town and explore shops or take the ferry. Overall great time!

We stayed at the Lodge many years ago and remembered it fondly. When I booked it I didn't realize it had been renovated. It is even nicer than I remembered!! My hubby said it was his FAVORITE hotel bed/night's sleep he'd ever had! My only complaint is the room we had got a lot of outside noise in the morning due to equipment being run on an adjacent street.

Room was clean and in good order. Restaurant food and service was great but was disappointed that it closed at 10 pm on Friday and Saturday night as a bunch of us staying there for a wedding would have had some drinks. Water pressure/flow in the shower was super low...I assume it's a California thing. Very pricey...also apparently a CA thing. All in all, the good far outnumbered the not so good.

The entrance of the Hotel is beautiful But beyond that I don't find anything unique about this hotel. I did not dine at the restaurant but The Water Lodge Hotel across the street which I stayed in before had more luxury rooms and better pricing also the bikes were free to use unlike The Lodge which he said it would have been $45 for two hours.

This place is a sort of refurbished old two story motel. Looks nicer in the lobby than the rooms which are on the dingy side. Was chosen by others as the site for wedding guests to stay but it was not good value for money. It did have free parking and was clean and quiet. Hot tub was not working which was. Disappointing given the cool weather. Convenient and walkable for Tiburon activities.

There are a number of areas where we could sit and enjoy the pool, the fireplaces, or the hustle and bustle of Main Street. Upstairs neighbor and hallway noise was loud and constant. I mentioned this the next morning to the desk clerk and she showed no surprise at all. While the staff was very 'nice', nobody offered help. When I arrived, I was walking with two bags--two staff were walking slowly in front of me but did not offer to help me. I saw an elderly couple struggling with a luggage cart--no staff to help them as well. And the parking cards do not work when leaving! Noisy in the early morning--do not get a room facing the pool. However, very comfortable mattress and great food/room service.

Nice, average motel. Really nothing special, except the location. The hotel needs valet to welcome the guests and take care of their luggage, assist with parking and directions to room. The staff was friendly but locked behind the desk. Again, there was no help from car to reception, the drive was blocked and all in all everything was just average.

When I saw a Groupon for a 'luxury' stay in Tiburon, I thought perfect! Luxury--not even close. Cons: For about $300 a night-- we were provided with a 'rack' room in the back of the lodge that felt sterile and bland - with little in the way of décor and a dull sea-foam color paint.
