We were disappointed overall. Not Hilton quality across the board. We were overcharged at the bar, but the general manager was very receptive and it was easily solved. Hopefully it was an accident. Quality places in Stockton are limited. Too bad Hilton does not step up to the plate and make their hotel a quality place. Definitely a C quality overall.

The staff was really nice. The rooms and furniture was dated. The rugs in the room were old and the wall paper was peeling from the wall. The hotel is being advertised as non-smoking but there was an apparent smoke odor in the rooms. I think it was another hotel brand in the past and Hilton acquired the property along with the prior smoking rooms. I was traveling with other work associates and they agreed regarding the odor in the rooms. The gym was a typical Hilton gym, although one treadmill w... Read more

Our stay here was completely adequate for our needs. The hotel was in good shape and our room was fine. Breakfast in the executive lounge was really good for us. My only disappointment was at check-in. We arrived at 4pm and still had to wait almost 45 minutes for our room. And this wasn't even for the room I had pre-selected through the Hilton app. I was told the person in that room wasn't checking out until 4. The rooms are clean, very nicely decorated with an upscale feel. The value is very decent for what the hotel offers. Very nice fitness room that outshines most other hotels of same caliber. Breakfast at the onsite restaurant was reasonable and very good. Choice between full buffet or continental. If you stay in Stockton, this is your hotel.

This hotel is very good. The staff are amazing! Brian at the front desk really helped me out when I needed supplies for a morning meeting! The rooms are ok. Some minor maintenance is needed, but nothing major. Best feature? The miniature cal with water fountains in front of the hotel. Ducks and geese use it, and it has small wood planks for them to walk up to the grass. Loved the baby geese!

My experience in Hilton stockton last week was not a pleasant one, I fell in the bath tube in the mid of shower and hit my head on the edge of the tube, because the tube is very very slippery. There is no sign reminding customer to put mat inside the bath tube. Told the front desk about that and suggested to put sign, don't want other people to have the same experience like me. Plus the drainage of the tube seemed to be clogged as well, I ended up finishing shower in half full of tube eventuall... Read more

I've been staying at the Stockton Hilton for 10 night stays since last August. They've been great. The Hotel is always clean and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Fortunately I get to stay home, but I will miss my home away from home. I was working nights and they always put where the hotel would be the quietest during the day. Housekeeping was gracious in that the had to clean my room at the end of their day. They were always happy to help. The Stockton Hilton is conveniently ... Read more

This hotel is very nice, and it's in probably one of the nicest parts of town. I grew up in Stockton and remember when they built this hotel. So I feel entitled to knock the town and everything in it, but I have to say, I was proud to stay at this Hilton.

Even though it was a busy weekend, I did not feel like the hotel was crowded at any given time. The friendly service made it a pleasant stay. I was there on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had an area where folks could go to plug in their laptops and work but still be a part of the atmosphere in the atrium. BY the way, it was a very nice atrium. A little old school flavor but still nice.

Don't let the outside appearance fool you! They definitely put the money on the inside! Very nicely designed. It is conveniently located close to freeway, restaurants and shopping centers. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip. The location was perfect lots of great places to eat nearby and a nice place to go for a walk. It was also easy to get on and off the freeway. Check in was fast and my room was great they also offer an executive lounge. This hotel is a nice well cared for older property I really liked it and will always make it my choice while in the area. Two thumbs up!!!

As host hotel for the Central Valley Birding Symposium every year for 18 years, this Hilton is really dedicated to making the Symposium feel welcome and cared for. The conference catering is terrific. The only drawback in the past has been the risk of break-in to the cars parked at the hotel, but management claims to have beefed up 24/7 security to allay fears of guests. I heard about no break-ins this time.

The hotel was located conveniently in regards to our needs. The hotel gave a lovely atmosphere in the lobby. We enjoyed our one-night stay. The outdoor location was lovely, with a canal running next to it. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Spent one night at this hotel since it was so close to a class reunion I wanted to attend. It was worth every penny I spent. Customer service reps were great. The room was very nice, bathroom was clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The toiletries were top of the line, too. The hotel is so close to stores and restaurants. Would definitely book again whenever I'm in town.
