We hope to come back soon during our next visit to CA, we would have stayed longer if we had known how great this experience was going to be. Everyone was accommodating, educational, and gracious with their time. This was hands down one of our best experiences staying somewhere at ages 44 and 46. From the East Coast, Great Lakes, Midwest, to West Coast. Treat others the way you want to be treated, that is how we were treated at the Inn at Sonoma.

We loved the Inn at Sonoma. Everyone was so helpful, especially Kristi in helping us ship wine home and answering all our questions. We were on a girls getaway trip and this was a perfect place to stay. The breakfasts were delicious (although some of the quiches were a bit watery). We also loved the wine and cheese in the afternoons. The beds were so comfy. The Inn is very convenient to the square and all the shops. My friends had a refrigerator in their room, I am not sure why I did not, ... Read more

It's easy to miss the Inn at Sonoma, as it is tucked in behind two cottages, well off the frontage of busy Broadway Ave. in Sonoma (city). We were very pleased with what we discovered back there: a charming inn with nice, clean rooms and welcoming lobby. Staff were friendly, informative and helpful. Breakfast was self-serve and delicious. Only a block from historic Sonoma square, staying here is perfect, as you can leave your car at the Inn and walk to all the great stores, restaurants and ga... Long overdue to write this review. My wife and I stayed here for a few nights last summer as part of our honeymoon through San Francisco and wine country. The hotel itself is very charming with an extremely friendly staff who went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfasts in the morning were very delicious and the best part was that they were different everyday. The parking outside and in the garage was very convenient, the rooms were clean and nice, and the cookies were great to... Read more

The Inn at Sonoma is a small hotel just a couple blocks away from the Sonoma Plaza, very handy for restaurants, shopping and wine tasting. Robert, the manager, and all of the staff provided great service. The breakfast was very good and included fresh fruit, cereals as well as a savory item. The afternoon wine hour was a nice touch and gives you an opportunity to visit with some of the other guests. The Inn does have pet friendly rooms, however, they are all on the ground floor and face the b... Read more

Great location, a short walk to the square. Very nice, clean, new room - a bit small, but this is a boutique hotel. Outstanding staff - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Breakfast was incredible - we bought the cookbook (now we just need to use it!). Bikes free to borrow to tool around town on. Evening wine and cheese was very nice.

Located close to centre but quiet, ideal for exploring Sonoma & wine country. Very comfortable & spacious room with balcony. Breakfast of high quality including fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, breads, bagels, hot dishes & freshly cooked muffins. Also plentiful. Staff friendly & very helpful with information on area.

We haven't been to Sonoma for over 10 years and decided it would be a great short trip. We choose the Inn at Sonoma based on the trip advisor ratings. It was indeed a lovely hotel, with a friendly, helpful staff. We really liked being able to walk to the square as well as many excellent restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

This Inn is another example of the Four Sisters approach to classic B & B. No surprises -always a combination of excellences - location, size, accommodations, service and amenities. A goof rule of thumb - if there is a Four Sisters Inn in the area - just go for it!

We were in Sonoma for 3 nights for a wedding weekend .The staff could not have been more helpful. They even did a load of laundry for us after we had been to a barbeque restaurant and our clothes had a barbeque aroma. We were travelling in Northern Callifornia for another week and we appreciated the service. The breakfasts were excellent and especially loved the cookies in the late afternoon .Unfortunately we did not have any of the wine and cheese that was offered every day at 5 o'clock. The i... Awesome location, great breakfast, friendly staff but rooms in the building we were in were small and the bed was soft. The rooms in the main building appear to have balconies which would have been nice. We would stay again but learn more about the room type first.

We come here every year for a business trip on the NASCAR weekend. I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place yet. Maybe it's better because being here so many times, (it's been at least 5 years) I have more experiences and lots to say. This is a small hotel with a lot of charm. Every year except this year we have been in the Main building upstairs. Sometimes facing the parking lot and sometimes facing the back where there is a play school. I preferred the parking lot, because I like the sun, b... Read more

We stayed two night on our discovery of Napa Valley and loved this Hotel! Very warm welcome, easy check-in and very cute rooms. We received upon arrival a coupon for a free wine tasting, which would have costed us normally 60$ each. Very good location to start the discovery of Napa Valley. After purchasing a good wine, some cheese and bread, we turned on the fire place in the room and set on our balcony to enjoy the calm surrounding of the Hotel. How romantic is that!!! Very clean and big rooms,... Read more

The hotel is located right next to the city plaza where you can get all the shops and restaurants within walking distance. Driving to where the famous wineries are will take around 45-60mins but there are also lesser wineries located nearby. The hotel rooms are comfortable with good amenities. Staffs are friendly and they offer a lot of good information and advice for your stay. Parking is abundant and free. The only thing disappointing is the breakfast and the happy hour tasting. We enjoyed our three night stay at Inn at Sonoma! From the helpful staff at the front desk, to our beautiful and comfortable room, to the great location just a block from the historic center of Sonoma, to the delicious breakfasts and yummy appetizers, to the available bikes to explore the pretty houses and vineyards of the area, everything met our expectations and more. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed for three days in early July. We were driving from the airport after a long flight and our estimated arrival was going to be right around closing of the office for the day. Staff were excellent in helping make sure we had what we needed for check in whether we made it before or after hours. The room was clean, set up well and had small and tasteful décor. Chose this place from TripAdvisor reviews. Great location, lovely room with patio, delicious breakfast of quiche, fresh fruits, yogurt, muffins (they have their own cookbook). Wine and cheese served in the afternoons, coffee in the lobby at 8 am. We rode their bikes a bit on the bike path. Linda, at the front desk, was very helpful with restaurant information, where to ride our bikes, etc.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at Four Sisters Inn. It was nestled back from the road so it was a quiet area. It was only a couple blocks from the square so it was an easy walk to eat or browse the area. They also provided a homemade breakfast which was wonderful. Homemade cookies available every day. Staff helpful with suggestions and providing maps of the area. It is highly recommended!

This inn was located just 2 blocks from the center of Sonoma with all the shops and restaurants. It was peaceful and quiet and very pretty. The breakfasts in the morning were very nice. Besides the usual fruit and pastries/bagels, there were always two hot dishes as well and the food was constantly replenished. The coffee was very good and available all day. This Inn, one of a chain down the West Coast, is a small quaint and well-run operation. If you want to be walking distance to downtown Sonoma, you cannot get much closer than being right on the Square. The Inn offers underground guest parking where you can keep your car cool on super hot inland days. We rode their bikes to get morning coffee and the local Farmer's Market and enjoyed the buffet breakfast, hot tub and lovely common spaces. My one proactive comment -- offer guests locally made p...
