Great home base for Sonoma Valley and hwy 1 exploration. Friendly helpful staff, quiet spacious suite (thx for the upgrade!) and very comfy linens! Good generous breakfast to get us on our adventures bright and early. Glad to skip resort and parking fees at other pricier places since we were gone everyday anyway! Just perfect for our 3 days in this area. Should be 3 stars.

What a nice place Sebastopol has for it's travelers. We stayed here mainly because we wanted to be close to friends and relatives. We were surprised how friendly, clean, and well-run this hotel was for being a little out of town. Also, there are plenty of restaurants all around this area so finding a place to eat was easy. The breakfast was also a surprise as it was a full scale operation with waffle turners, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, orange juice, coffee, apple juice, turkey sausag... Read more

This Marriott property is a disgrace to the hotel industry. It exemplifies the worst Hotel Management we have experienced in the last 15 years of our constant business travel. I was appalled by the front desk's unprofessional behavior and their "excuses" for our daily disruptions. After interacting with the general manager myself, I realize the hotel staff here is just emulating their Manager. We booked a 6-night stay at this Marriott hotel directly behind a 3-day trip to the Manhatta... Read more

This hotel is clean, comfortable, and has very good service. Outdoor pool for relaxing afternoons and a great location for exploring the California coast, redwoods and wine country. Would stay here again.

For us, this was a centrally located hotel for the activities we chose for this trip. Our second floor room was large, comfortable, and overlooked the pool area on the rear of the hotel property. Breakfast each morning was substantial, with several hot choices and an assortment of pastries, juices, fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc. The heated pool and companion spa were sparkling clean and kept at a comfortable temperature. The king-sized bed had a wonderful mattress; internet was fast and reliable. T... Read more

We are amazed that this hotel doesn't have HD TV! It is like living twenty years ago! Honestly, analog TV is terrible and certainly not what Marriot hotel members expect. Try watching non HD TV at your own home and you will see how sub-par this service really is. We are very disappointed and certainty not 100% satisfied by this! This issue exemplifies the whole hotel, ok but not great! The breakfast room looks like a old college cafeteria. Sorry, but his hotel doesn't live up to Marriot stand... Read more

At the start of a trip up California's redwood highway, we needed a place to stay in Sonoma County and booked the Fairfield Inn. It was a good place to spend the night. The desk clerk was friendly, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the wi fi worked. It sits on a major thoroughfare with street noise, so I suggest asking for a room on the non-street side. Watched the Warriors NBA game on a tv that was a bit fuzzy - maybe as one previous guest noted, because it was not HDTV. The w... Read more

Check-in: The people were nice but took a bit long considering there were two people at the front desk and only one person in front of us. The second checker-in person answered the phone and that conversation took like 15 minutes. So we were waiting in a line of one for 15 minutes. Really? We were there before the phone call, were tired from a long drive, and just wanted to sit down. After that awkward beginning, check-in ran smoothly. Room: The room was fine. Beds were comfortable. I have basically limited my hotel stays to the Marriott chain because of the consistency of the rooms and breakfasts. The Fairfield inn is consistently as good as the residence inns and courtyards. This location was great. I needed to send a fax and the daytime manager sent it without charge.

I was told at the front desk that because I booked through hotels.com and not Marriott they couldn't accomodate any requests. I booked through hotels.com and was only able to get a room with a king bed and a pull-out couch. I was here to do some business in town and I needed a room for two nights with an extra bed because my 23 year old daughter came with me. The hotels.com website booking had a space for comments and special requests, so even though my options were only "king" or "king and pull... Read more

Very pleased with our stay here. Front desk checked us in quickly, recognized my status with both points and market item, and provided a top floor room as requested. Neighbors were noisy (thin walls?) but quieted down after awhile. Towels and linens were clean, room had both microwave and mini-fridge plus coffee maker. Wi-fi was fast, free breakfast was typical of the Fairfield brand. Well-situated for exploring the region.

Stayed here for a wedding weekend. Property very clean, rooms large (we had studio) and service very friendly. Like we thought, pool area is much smaller than professional photos on website depict but adequate for a quick dip. Breakfast was standard family hotel fair. Location is convenient. Grocery store, food and Starbucks within 2 blocks

We spent 4 nights at this Fairfield Inn. We were attending a wedding in Santa Rosa. Good location. Drove down to Larkspur and took the ferry across to SF for the day. The Inn itself is very nice and very clean. Rooms are large and comfortable. Equipped with a small refrigerator, iron and iron board, coffee maker. Parking is free and they offer a daily full breakfast also for free. Pool and spa area also clean and pleasant. Would definitely recommend if you are in this area. Value for y... Read more

This location was OK and the hotel facility was quite nice. Our check-in was prompt and we were given a choice of which room we would prefer. I would say that the clerk was efficient but seemed a bit brusque-- not very warm and friendly to us (and when we checked out a different desk clerk did not even ask us about our stay). We had a large room with attractive décor. The a/c was already on so our room was immediately comfortable when we arrived. There was a fridge, but no microwave which ... Read more

The staff was very nice at check in and provided me with a map of the vicinity including restaurants. The rooms were ample and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Wi Fi was excellent and access to the parking lot was very good. Breakfast was good and plentiful. There was a grocery store, Starbucks and liquor store near by.
