The hotel itself is well-appointed, with large rooms and a friendly staff. Its location is next to the Levi's Stadium and the Great America theme park, which is convenient if you're going to a game or the amusement park. If those are not in your plans, avoid "game days" so that you're not constrained (jammed?) in traffic and parking. We used the Hilton mobile-phone app to check in online prior to our arrival. We were supposed to be able to go to the front desk with the phone, show our ID, and t... Read more

This Hilton hotel has the high Hilton standards. Excellent and friendly staff, nice rooms and good location for business and pleasure, Levi's Stadium and Great America Theme Park share their parking lots with the hotel. So yes there can be some inconvenience when there is a concert or a game going on. But you always have your free parking space as a registered guest, it might take a bit longer to get there :-). All in all a very good hotel.

I lucked out and ended up with an executive level room, probably on account of a later than planned check-in. Room is spacious, clean and has all the amenities I needed. Housekeeping staff if prompt and my room was squared away early every single time I returned from work. The hotel is centrally located to shopping, restaurants, and of course an amusement park and Levis Stadium. With a room on the right side of the hotel, you can easily get a nice view of the stadium. What can you expect? It is a Hilton. from the counter with Jeff, Alex and Sol in charge everything went perfectly well. Check in in 5 minutes, and off we went to our 1023 room which had a stunning view of the mountains and part of downtown San Jose. The VTA train was just below us. It was an excellent location really. Convention center just next door. Taxis abound. Uber friendly and train station exactly 2,430 steps from the counter. Go here. Go here.

There are not that many "nicer" hotels in the area. Other hotels seem to be more lower end. The Hilton Santa Clara is clean and business oriented. The staff is professional. There is a small gym and pool that's nice. There is a running path towards the Levi Stadium that's great if you want to go for a run. There is an executive lounge for breakfast and being able to work. Can get busy at peak hours.

With Hilton you immediately match some expectations. Unfortunately, the place could not meet mine... Big soccer game on Friday night and suddenly nothing works out. Staff (with some noble exceptions) is not really friendly. At least I did not feel as a valued guest. When they finally did not remember to correct the booking mistake they did before getting in still during check-out it was really too much for me.

This is a great, clean and friendly hotel with awesome staff. If you can, avoid the restaurant/bar as it is overpriced (like most hotels due to no competition). Otherwise, a great place to stay! The view of Levi's Stadium is pretty cool.

I stay at hiltons often. This was a very nice one, well kept one. Service was excellent. Pool and hot tub were clean. Looking at Palm trees from the pool area is nice too. Both my kids did the scavenger hunt that was in the coloring leaflet they received at check in. Rooms were clean and quiet. Infused water in lobby. Views of Great America/Levi stadium from our room were also nice. We had a two bed at $116 w/o taxes. Great value.

From the moment we walked in my family and I were greeted with a welcome and treated very well. Check in was a breeze, the room was spacious and clean. Everything you would expect of a Hilton property. I was more than pleased and I guarantee I will make it a point to reserve another room here. Oh, we had a "standard" room which was very well appointed. I can only imagine what the "upgraded" room could be!

I had a very important test in Santa Clara on Friday the 24th of June 2016. So I needed a room on Thursday the 23rd of Thursday at 11 at night. After having rude service on the phone with the Hyatt I decided to try the Hilton Hotel. I had a fantastic experience with the front desk at the Hilton they were so accomadating and polite. My room was great, the service was great. I had only wished I enjoyed the complementary breakfast.

I stayed here for a conference next door. The hotel is pretty expensive for the stay. I have stayed here before and was good. The location is great, the hotel is modern and nice. During this stay I had couple problem which I'm astonished that the front desk lady ignored. The room was good except when I checked in i saw couple spiders roaming on the bed. I had to kill one and hush the other. I reported this to front desk and they promised me they look into it and may be change my room. Well it ... Read more

Having stayed in hundreds of hotels and now watching some of the reality shows about behind the scenes at hotels has given me a much more critical eye for problems. This hotel had none! I have stayed in 5 star hotels that were not this clean. I did have to wait one hour to receive my digital key but it allowed me to bypass the front desk completely. Leaving the hotel room I only had to worry about having my phone to be able to unlock the room. Somewhat close to restaurants eating was easy... Read more

I called down to the front front desk and asked why I got two full beds instead of two queen beds and they said that I wasn't guaranteed the queen beds booking online. HUH? I didn't book online, even though when I checked in they said hello here is your room with two queen beds. Seriously, the nicest hotel staff ever. Every time I passed by the front desk, which was a lot as I was also working in a conference room, everyone smiled and said hello or asked if they could do something for me. The woman who made my Starbucks every morning and also waited on me (can't remember her name) was amazing. She remembered my name the next day after waiting on me at the restaurant and made great coffee. She was super friendly. The hotel amenities are ok. The conference rooms were nice... Read more

I enjoy staying at Hilton properties because the service is great, the food is good and the staff is helpful and accommodating. I am very comfortable with the Hilton brand and will recommend it friends and colleagues. The only problem I experienced was with the bartender on duty Saturday afternoon around 4:00 pm. I don't know if he wasn't aware that he should come from behind the bar and service the patrons seated in the bar area. He didn't come from behind the bar until a patron asked for se... Read more

This is a standard Hilton hotel with one special feature: It is the closest property to Levi's Stadium where the SF 49ers play their home games. On game days, only registered guests are allowed into the hotel, but the property is crawling with football fans. The preferred room view is the "stadium" view but, in reality, it is more of a parking lot view than a stadium view. See my photos. Business convention. Convenient locationt to convention center and train. Only downside is no restaurants close by so I ordered room service. Restaurants are a mile away. Free parking. Expensive if there's a game or concert. Staff are helpful and polite. Shower is older and needs renovation. Can see Levi's stadium and great America park from window. Area feels safe even at night. Rate reasonable when no event near by.

I had stayed at this hotel a few years prior when I was in town for a convention as it was one of the last places to have a room available. My experience was unremarkable with the exception of unpleasant surprise left behind by a previous guest that could only have been found by Maria Shriver and her handy blue light. Ick. But the management - in addition to sanitizing the room to what I could imagine are EPA standards - invited me back on their dime. That brings me to my most recent stay. ... Read more

Very disappointed with a Hilton brand. This place is old..really old from the looks of it. The sofa upholstery was run down, stained. Carpets had stain marks, beds were dusty and creaky. There was trash at many parts of the guest room floors. One morning had a box of stale pizza and beer lying near the lift areas. The common areas had a stale/old smell. Wish they do something about this place.
