I stayed only one night arriving late and leaving early the next morning. The suite arrangement (BR plus LR) would have accommodated a small family even though the BA was a little on the small side. There is a renovation going on but not on my floor so did not have any issue. Cooked to order breakfast was provided. If you take out coffee, be careful as the lid pops open easily when you squeeze the cup even just a little as you get it out of the cup holder in the car. I stained my shirt goin... Read more

The hotel is clean. Parking is considerably tight, especially for the $15 additional fee that is charged. Queen beds are not queen size, but should be considered a full. Bathrooms are disproportionate to the size of the room, especially having one sink. Breakfast was very good. Wifi is horrible. Basically, this hotel is overpriced with not much perks beyond breakfast.

My husband and I were attending a wedding close by the hotel and wanted to check in early so we could get ready at the hotel rather than at home. Mid-week I made a couple of phone calls to the hotel with my request and no guarantee could be made for early check in, it was only notated that I called. The day before I was to arrive I did my online check-in for room selection and then contacted the hotel again to see about checking in early. Excellent experience, location, very and customer service was AWESOME! Parking could be better, however the parking staff is very kind. Breakfast and Happy hour is a very great treat. The hotel is a stone throw from the airport and from the mall. the beaches are with 10 miles away and LA is an 30-40 minute drive north on the interstate. Major attraction such as Knotts Berry Farm is 25 minute drive. Great location!!!

I have stayed in Hilton properties for the last 29 year. This is the worst I've ever stayed it. It is old, musty and in serious need for a remodel. To be fair, part of one floor was in process of remodeling - so if you stay, ask for a remodeled room

I love this hotel and stay here often but this time I had a bad experience. They changed their parking policy. Now youhave to pay for parking - ridiculous! And even worse I was awakened by the sound of loud driulling and constuction on the room directly above mine. I wish they would have told me there would be construction taking place on that floor. Even if they gave me the option of choosing a room that was farther away from the construction I would have been happy.

Wouldn't go out of my way to stay here. It's convenient to John Wayne Airport but didn't have a good internet connection, lights not working and one was hanging from the ceiling. The title says it all. Its a very nice hotel. The shuttle was very dependable and got us to the airport fast. The rooms are comfortable and the employees can't do enough. Highly recommended. The bathrooms could be bigger but that's the only thing I can think of that I would change.

Great place that fit the needs of group travel. Breakfast bar allowed for easy (and early) group needs, and afternoon reception allowed transition from day to evening activities. We enjoyed the in house restaurant that allowed for dining without travel. Complementary shuttle to/from local area venues was a perk!

For once, an Embassy in Orange County was priced comparably with my standard Hampton so I took advantage of it to enjoy the nicer amenities. The pricing might have been a result of some on-going remodeling and upgrading the hotel was going through but, overall, I'm glad I found this place and hope to come back. Pluses of this particular location are: 1. Fair price for you get. 2. Great service, particularly from the front desk and breakfast staff. They probably have the friendliest breakfast ... Read more

Great place to stay if you are going to be in the area of Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Good price for holiday weekend. The Breakfast staff are amazing, they greeted you on approach to the Breakfast area. Omelet bar cooks made some outstanding delicious food. Many choices for breakfast. Our room was on city side away from the freeway noise. The Beds and pillows very comfortable. The room size is extra large to accommodate 4 adults comfortably. Very disappointed w/ this hotel - enough to leave after the first night of a three night stay. To begin with, the television in the living room would not work for more than half of the channels. I contacted the front desk and they sent engineering to fix it. Once there, he simply turned the tv on, turned to me and said 'This was a problem yesterday in a couple of other rooms too. There is nothing I can do to fix it.' When I asked why the TV in the bedroom worked fine, he said they we on separate... Read more

Strange odor in various places, dirty old popcorn ceilings, poor lighting, and cheap iron just to name a few of the issues. You must now pay for parking while there are no other options. Instead of being upfront and publishing the actual rates to make price comparisons fair, they "hide" the parking charge. The have this new digital key which is supposed to speed the check-in process and get you directly to your room. Ridiculous because you must still stop at the front desk because you can't exit... I always stay at an Embassy Suites, because they are my favorite hotel. I am usually in this area at Christmas time. I have stayed at this particular Embassy Suites every year for the past 15 years. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to make sure the guests have an absolutely fantastic experience. This includes even the little things, like holding the elevator door, opening your room door if your hands end are full etc. They especially go out of their way while serving & servicing ... Overall our stay was quite nice. Our family loved the great breakfast. However the door to our bathroom was broken so with 6 people going in and out it was quite annoying and frustrated everyone since it was so loud. Also the size of the bathroom was surprisingly small for our room. Every other embassy suites I have ever stayed at has great big bathrooms so I guess I was expecting that here too. Overall though this was a great stay.

Checked in yesterday and found the room totally unacceptable. There were no towels in the bathroom, hairs were all over the bathtub, and most disgusting is the bed, although made up, had hairs and spot of dirt all over. This is definitely not what I expect from an establishment carrying a Hilton brand. Received my invoice and parking was charged twice. Had to call to let the front desk person know about it.

Fair value. More show than anything. I was disappointed in the size of the bathroom which are quite confining. Not necessary that the bathroom be so small in a two room suite. The restaurant is fair at best. Bartender and barmaid were poorly dressed which shows how they feel about being employees of the hote.

The rooms were great: an outer room opening on the atrium with desk, chair, and couch; and a bedroom that was very quiet with very comfortable beds and great linens.. T.V. in both rooms. The only possible negative for some would be the small bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the made to order omelettes.
