The Palace's 552 guest rooms have been newly restored with the latest in modern luxury, with traditional mahogany furnishings, and updated fixtures. All rooms have 14' ceilings and windows, that opens for fresh air. The guest rooms feature individually-controlled air conditioning, and heating units. Safe deposit boxes, refrigerators, and hook-ups for personal computers, and facsimile machines.
The guest rooms include 34 suites which include 30 one and two-bedroom suites, the Ambassador Suite, the Chancellor's Suite, the Governor's Suite, and the Presidential Suite. In all of the suites, the historical ambiance blends seamlessly with the latest modern conveniences. The original fireplaces are still in place in the Ambassador Suite, Chancellor's Suite, Governor's Suite, and Presidential Suite, although fire code prevents their use today.
All guest rooms offer complimentary bottled water each day, large executive desks in each room, dual phone lines, laptop safes, refrigerators, terry-cloth robes, 24-hour room service, web TV, voice mail, and other services and amenities a four-diamond hotel should have. Each bathroom features marble vanity, tiled flooring, hair dryer, magnifying mirror, telephone, and deluxe amenities.
