"The room was excellent. Everything worked. There were guide books in the room that helped us select a restaurant for both nights. The only negative was that the street noise was high - not really the hotel's fault. Next time I'll bring ear plugs. We had a great time and will return again."

"My expectations for the US Grant were very high. Upon arrival the details were missing. Robe wasn't in closet, 2 lights in bathroom didn't work. Next day we went out and returned at 4:30pm and room still wasn't cleaned. We called front desk who assured us someone would be right there. Room finally cleaned around 6pm.
Went into bar for a drink and waited over 20 minutes to get one. There were 3 servers wandering around and 1 other table...come on! This isn't okay for a 5 star hotel."

[1.] Travel on 805 South to 8 West.
[2.] Take 8 West to 163 South into downtown San Diego.
[3.] Exit at Ash Street and turn left on 4th Avenue.
[4.] The hotel will be 4 blocks ahead on the right side of 4th Avenue.
The valet parking entrance is off of 4th Avenue.
Directions rom San Diego Lindburgh Airport:
[1.] Exit the airport in the right lane and turn left on Harbor Drive.
[2.] Turn left on Broadway and proceed 10 blocks to 3rd Avenue.
[3.] Turn left onto 3rd Avenue.
[4.] The hotel will be on the right-hand side.
The valet parking entrance is off of 4th Avenue.
Directions from the North:
[1.] Travel Interstate 5 South and take the Center/Front Street Exit.
[2.] Turn left onto A Street and continue 4 blocks to 4th Avenue.
[3.] Turn right onto 4th Avenue.
[4.] The hotel will be on the right side.
The valet parking entrance is off of 4th Avenue.
Directions from the South:
[1.] Travel on 5 North and take the 5th Avenue exit.
[2.] Turn right onto Broadway and continue 3 blocks to 3rd Avenue.
