"My wife and I had a wonderful time here. The staff was great. We had a room in the Casa Marina building looking out over the docks. The views were wonderful.
The Blue Wave has fantastic breakfasts. The meals were so big, we split several and still had plenty.
Looking forward to staying here agin!"

"We stayed in the Palm suite for 5 days. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The main reason we chose a suite was so that we could cook our meals and not eat out. I was dissapointed by what was offered in the kitchen. There was no dish soap, sponge or dish towels and there were nosharp cutting knifes or wine opener. We called the front desk and requested these things the first evening but nothing showed up. The second day, my husband finally went down to the front desk to find these things and they said they would send them up, but still nothing. It ook us calling again, to finally get a sponge and dishsoap. And much longer to get a whine opener and some rather dull steak knifes. These are basics in a kitchen in most places I have stayed. I would like to stay there again, but think the kitchens should be better stocked!!"

"When my fiance and I initially arrived, they gave us a room where the door wouldn't lock so we got upraded to a room facing the marina with no extra charge and without any difficulty. We stayed for 6 days and had a great experience with the hotel and staff. Free parking and internet were added perks to our trip, we would definitely come back."

"A wonderful facility, we were extremely satisfied with everything. The location was perfect, only 10-15 minutes to any of the major areas we wanted to see. Would definitely go back to the Best Western Palms!"

"My husband and I stayed for five days to celebrate our 35th anniversary and it was an excellent trip! We arrived an hour early and not only were able to check in immediately, but when I asked if we were able to snag a room with a king size bed we were told that they had done better than that and upgraded us to a jr. suite. As it turned out it was a 2 double bed rather than a king suite, but it was clean, spacious, open. airy and had a kitchenette. We were facing the marina with a patio all our own with a beautiful view. The wooden shutters added some class to the room and we were quite comfy.
We went to the hotel restaurant for a late lunch the first day. The arichoke cream soup and calamari that I ordered and the turkey sanwich that my husband had were all excellent fare. I would have loved to get the recipe for that soup from the chef! We went to the restaurant for breakfast the next day, and that was disappointing after the wonderful lunch the day before.
My husband is disabled, so slept late the first day and had the do not disturb sign up. so we had our room cleaned (very well) the next day. The day after that the housekeeping crew skipped our room, and my husband called to get the room cleaned, but nobody came for an hour so he put the sign back on the door so he could nap and lay on his heating pad to help his pain.
The only inconvenience that I would have changed was that there was no chest of drawers, so we lived out of our suitcases for 5 days, and things tend to get a little wrinkled that way.
All staff we dealt with were very polite, cheerful, friendly and helpful. I would dfinitely go back and stay at this hotel again. "
