"The Iinn was being remodeled and they were painting and remodeling, plastic sheets everywhere to protect for painting, painting remodeling smell, no one informed me that all the wall paper would be off the walls and plastic sheets up, nor did they offer me a separate floor or place to check in (this was at 3pm and I was one of the first ones to check in). I ordered a room with a king bed, my reservation stated king bed, but I was given a room with two queens. I asked for a quiet room but was given a room near the ice machine and elevators and again this was at the earliest check in time. The room I was given looked out on a stone type wall about five feet from the window. The area just outside was used for storage with spare tires etc. just junked out there...great view, a garbage dump. Also there was a pump type noise that was fairly loud that went on regularly throughout the night. I could live with it but I shouldn't have to. Despite the other reviews all I can say is beware of unexpected negative surprises which could have been avoided by clear information from the hotel. I would have preferred to stay elsewhere without the continuous negative experiences. I know one could say all you have to do is ask to change rooms to get a king bed...but to have to continuously request changes and improvements is not my idea of how a hotel should be. As you know the good places have everything in order before the guests arrive and usually don't have complaints."
